I think Linus' defence that Labs is in early days and having teethign problems re: accuracy is valid, and also GNs criticisms of Labs accuracy is also valid, both can be true. The criticism of the focus on quantity over quality is valid too, but the reality of LTT needing to output x number of videos to recoup the cost of building Labs to create something big and useful in the future is valid too. Both can be true.

I think GN makes a strong case, however, it's important to recognize that Linus is currently overseeing the implementation of the "new" LMG structure. Managing a team of 80 employees can be complex, and it's precisely for this reason that during the last Wan Show, Linus mentioned the possibility of hiring staff to correct videos in order to minimize errors. Most of the issues raised by GN appear to be being resolved.

As for the accusations against Linus' objectivity regarding investments, I find these criticisms to be not entirely justified. In the test videos, Linus never compares Framework to other laptops and doesn't seem to deliberately penalize other brands. This impartiality is quite obvious.

Just watched the GN video, I'll have to say that pretty much all of this stuff could've been handled privately, especially the criticism about all the review errors could've been discussed in an email to Linus himself instead of making a public video about simple errors and not contacting LMG about it first, also I feel like he unfairly weaponized the transparency of LTT against them.

The Billet Labs stuff is really horrible imo, auctioning off something like that is just not cool and LMG should never ever do something like that ever again, but I read that Billet Labs has been fairly compensated.
