Okay thanks for all the feedback all of you. Based on the following breakdown of the games I play, does the advice on the response time/IPSvVA change?
GTA, Just cause 4, Witcher 3, Cities Skylines (a lot of CS), farm Sim, Transport Fever 2, Civ 6, No mans Sky, Cyberpunk. (just relkeased the actual number of sims is smaller but I do spend more time in them)
I don't really play any of these games in a PVP kind of fashion but fast response times would still be useful for NPCs right?

@finite cloud it's my first high end phone since the OG pixel. i will say if you're used to AMOLEDs it doesn't have that, colors are somewhat dull in comparison to my budget 3 year old samsung a11, like 40% duller its a huge difference, but i don't mind I got a well built, high storage (imo), 8 gig ram phone! i can finally play games lol and have more then 3 apps open at once. The Pro version does have an AMOLED however
