2 things to keep in mind while making your resume

1. If you want a 50k, 100k, or 500k job... your resume needs to be worth 50/100/500k. "is this a 100k document?" is what you need to ask yourself when you think you're finished

2. Particularly when you're new in your career... junior level jobs will get HUNDREDS of resumes. hiring managers will read dozens per day. To that end; you have 15 seconds to capture their attention when reading... you must recapture it every 15 seconds after and repeat until they finish the doc. make sure your text is impactful.

So I recently rewatched the emulation video Linus and Anthony did where you rip roms from your cartridges. I have a collection of n64, ps1, ps2 games that I'd like to get the roms without the icky legality of downloading roms, as my wife doesn't like the idea for obvious reasons.

So I've got two questions.

1. I'm vaguely aware of BIOs needed to run the games better on emulators. Am I able to get those from the disks/cartridges themselves or am I completely misinformed about something?

2. Let's say I have broken versions of disks/cartridges that just won't read on the hardware (I have some too heavily scratched ps2 games and a golf game on n64 that I rather liked that refused to work once I bought a Expansion Pack for it). What are the odds the data can still be ripped so I don't have to look online for a replacement rom? And if it's possible...would anyone know where I could buy damaged versions of old games? You know...to recycle them. cough
