It's weird - with 0.3 there is absolutely zero road feel, I tried changing a few settings but saw no difference. At this point about 80% of my 6-7 hours with the game has been trying to get the FFB working with each patch, I cba anymore

If you want to just get going and not empty the bank either a Logitech G923 or a Thrustmaster T300RS. Both are within a reasonable price range

if you're on an Xbox though the T300RS will not work for that. It's Sony & PC only

T300RS is good, I had one before I switched to my current wheelbase. Belt driven like the T300 is way better than gear driven like any of the Logitech stuff, much smoother and more responsive.

the fix for anyone who gets this: just tweak geometry setting back from low to your usual

although one thing im very happy about that is now completely gone is the car switch memory leak

everytime you would switch cars in FH5 the performance would degrade bit by bit

I don't play Forza at all, but tbh from all the screenshots etc the graphics look good

And unoptimised, well it's quite common for games to be unoptimised on release and then get better performance as time goes on. Plus pretty much everything now overall runs mediocre at best unless you can buy a $50k computer. Doesn't make it right, but does make everyone kinda used to that.

GTX 10xx cards aren't officially supported (with the only mention prior to today hidden in the FAQ that one likely wouldn't check since literally all GTX 10xx cards are at least on par to the 1650 so no reason to assume they wouldn't work) it's very unlikely that the lighting issues will be fixed. And also no words so far regarding the constant FHC01 crashes, that seem to affect all GPUs.
Now I'm actually thinking about refunding but I expect a very low chance of it getting accepted with over 23hrs of play time
