not sure if this is a bug or something (not on experimental) but i made 3 trains stations near each other in a loop to try to to remember how signals work (i havent put them down yet) but theres this very strange thing happening.

i put one locomotive down, and on the timetable i make it go to station3 and it keeps looping only in station2. if i change it to go to station1 it keeps looping into station2 but if i make it go to station2 it keeps looping into station1, i have no clue why this is happening. i even tried removing train tracks to force it to have no path to the chosen station but it just keeps looping into the wrong station

even weirder, if i remove the rails to station3 while its set to go to station2 the train works normally but if i remove rails that go to station1 while its supposed to go to station2 the locomotive wont go to station2

I have a 2500mw factory that doesn't run but has like 16 000m3 of fuel, 2000mw of batteries isolated from the grid, every factory can be disconnected each from the grid, it's pretty easy to start again, I made exercices and simulation of complet shut off

no, you definitely don't want signals in bp's because in order to fit them, whether or not the blueprinter can accept them, you'd have have to build them on the spot where the rail splits into the junction and that causes issues with path signals to such an extent that they only error out. I don't have a good frame of reference to respond to the 45 degrees rotated bit other than that they minimum size for a 45 degree turn is 2.5x2.5

In vidéo parameters, scaling, scaling type, you have none, tsr, NVIDIA dlss, amd fsr, Intel xess. Try setting it to "none"

And if it is activated, desactivate image generation

Most of the time flickering happen because either your pc struggle to render the graphics with the upscalling process, either it is because the drivers are outdated, it could also be a problem of parameters of the screen (on windows, your refresh rate may be set to 60 or 120, if you have a 144hz monitor it could flicker)

If any of that doesn't work I suggest you to do a full installation of satisfactory and réinstallation.

Other question : since when you play the game, is the save old ?

I'd say yes but personally i want to midmax my rocket fuel production for not only power production but eventually when i get into the next phase, i wanna have a bit of a surplus to make ionised fuel for my jetpack

I'm not a pc technician I just use to get along with what I buy (I bought and assembled my own setup), so I may not have the solution but try everything I told you and see how it goes

Other troubleshoot i can give you: if your pc have recently been updated to windows 11, check for desinstalling/deactivating windows game bar as it can be annoying and cause a variety of problèms

2 fully overclocked pure nodes in the blue crater will get you 4200 rocket fuel/m (252k Mw) and 300 packaged ionized fuel if you use heavy oil residue to diluted fuel to nitro rocket fuel

I found my grid problem, finaly

When you connect a railroad, electricity go through the rails. Ok. But if you connect the station to a grid, let say grid A, and the other side to grid B, they will communicate.

So that's why I had a short m'y station was connected to my main factory grid

The problem is that this Factory alone sucks a hell lot of power... Watch out for train stations they can cause short circuit from a grid to another

It seems like you connected a grid with a blown fuse with a working grid, this results in... A single grid with a blown fuse, not specific to train stations

Generally not much practical reason to have separate grids

Nah, when I turned my oil grid with 7000mw of power production and my aluminium hub, it started correctly. but it went straight to 12k mw consomption. And I know for sure that my hub alu + everything is around 5000-7000mw (and I had around 9000 in production)

I prefer having a grid that I can fully operate on, I can disconnect chunks that consume 3000mw, I can synchronise a grid with a fuel backup that can crank up the power production, synchronise a 2000mw battery backup... I now it's overkill but I like being able to respond to any problem.

Let's say I didn't watched my power consomption and i'm too high, I can chunk out 2000, 3000, 5000mw... Of power consomption and avoid a black out, I can get back up from a total grid black out etc.

I hope they come out with a DLC that introduces tower defense and of course enemy raids. The devs first game was Sanctum, a tower defense game, after all. The action, tower defense and automation (ATDA) genre is growing. Star Rupture tried this recently, but the tower defense side is pretty lacking. ATDA will be as synonymous as open world survival craft soon.
