I finished my 2000m pipe work, and now going to make my 2nd line of blenders for my advanced aluminum factory.
Is there anything I should know with blueprints before I start ? 🤭

Nothing fancy really, honestly the first few blueprints I'd set up were just the maximum amount of constructors/smelters/assemblers etc i could fit

So that any time I needed any of them I'd just copy paste and then rearrange where necessary

But I'd include the splitters/conveyors/poles in advance so all the extra little annoying tidbits would be done

Sorry, but is it really a sandbox? Minecraft is because the world is trillions of blocks wide in all directions and essentially has infinite resources to pick from with a procedurally generated map thats different every time.
Satisfactory has a hand crafted map with unlimited nodes sure, but actually a limit on how much you can pull from each node, you cant place 2 miners on one node and the max you can pull is 1200 which dwindles when split to multiple machines for multiple different items and factories.

Sure there is a lot you can do, but is it really sand box? Technically, unlimited potential, limited availability

you can just start at the source of the gas and at some point you should come across a full pipe next to an empty one and thats where you know the error lies

You should look into upgrading to Windows 11. Win 10 is no longer supported by many vendors, which means that your drivers might not works as expected.

Usually it does. Nvidia GPU drivers have multiple known ways they break and need DDU to get them back to working state inspecific games.

Minor glitch. Easiest is to reload the game to before you got stuck.
You can respawn yourself, but then you lose the stuff you have on you.
Depending on what you have available and in reach, you can build a hybertube that goes through the terrain. Or even a train track.

Now that you respawned, you can make a fairly simple blueprint with a hybertube setup. Then you can nudge that through the rock so you can use that to access your stuff. But practice and test first! 🙂

What is the best weapon for the highest reliable dps? I thought it was going to be turbo ammo but it is far too inaccurate, and normal rifle ammo just feels a little too low. Especially when some of those drives have 3 cliff hogs or a multiple gas stingers. Takes ages to kill everything, even when they're trapped in a box

its just rotors and reinforced plates.
which both are made from just iron plates, iron rods and screws

So I probably handcraft the 50 smart plating components for phase 1, put them in an assembler, then unlock the tractor and go hardrive hunting

rather than manually crafting it all

and then you can source those parts from anywhere you want really

do any of you experienced stutters on nvidia cards? switched from 7800xt to 5080 ( currently on 1080p monitor ) and whenever I turn with my character, my fps drops from an average of 140 to like 30 for a split second, frametime shows a spike from 5-7ms to like 40-60ms and my gpu usage goes down + I can literally force the "stutter" when pressing esc button, it will always create a micro stutter, never had that issue on 7800xt

oil can be a tough one, for my first i did || 50/50 plastic and rubber, and then used residue heavy oil to make fuel. adds up to a nice 1:1:1 ratio|| don’t click if you don’t want help

However I'm seeing quite a few people say that making a rocket fuel plant is easier and they just don't really bother with nuclear. For my main source of power should I just be using rocket fuel or...? I don't want to mess with nuclear power much if it's just way more of a headache

Nuclear's main downsides:
they're big. A single nuke makes as much power as 10 fuel gens but its as big as like 4x4 gens stacked
Nukes chug water. A lot of it. You'll need to be decently good with piping
They make waste which cannot be destroyed so it has to be stored or processed. You dont unlock the entire processing chain right away

But if you have pipe skill issues and dont know the secret techniques to circumvent some of those issues, which is the case for a majority unfortunately, you'll have a hard time

mk 1 pipes out of water extractors and preferably just use 2 fully overclocked water extractors rather than 5 at 100%
after that you just go with a mk 2 pipe after the junction and just slap down a pump

@rugged jasper if you want straight pipes down an angled foundation. Place a junction at each end (they align with the foundation). Connect with pipes. Delete junctions.
Afterwards you can nudge in whatever kind of support you want for cosmetics.

Theres a difference between compaction and overcomplication / agglutination (turning everything into a giant big sticky pipe ball)
