As you're running away, listen for the rattling sound they make before jumping. The moment they jump, swerve another direction for a few meters, then turn around. They'll land and be in a freeze animation for a couple seconds. Hit them with your preferred weapon, when they start moving you rub again. This is easiest with a good jetpack and the homing rifle ammo, IMO

For all the non-"Custom" swatches, btw, anything using those swatches will automatically change whenever you update the swatch. That's the main difference with that "Custom" one; once something's painted with Custom, it's that way until you explicitly re-paint it

Looking at the recipe for the iodine filter, im actually surprised at the heavy lack of actual iodine in the recipe. It's just a standard charcoal filter, some caterium and some aluminium casing. Theres nothing to actually suggest it contains anything (not even any lead) to filter out radiation

There's also the fact that such a filter, even if it contained iodine, wouldn't be very helpful. Or that you can heal radiation poisoning by eating berries.

Hello! I played Satisfactory about a year ago and stopped because my base was a real hot mess. I was in Phase 2 or 3—I can’t remember exactly.
I’m planning to set up a new factory, since I can’t stand my current one anymore.
What are some good locations for a new base that can carry me for a long time? I started my first base in the starting zone, in the Green Area.
Also, if I dismantle and relocate the Space Elevator, will my progress be saved, or will I have to start again from zero?

Any start locale can work, but I prefer anything other than Grass (some others here love it). However, even putting my bias aside, you might try a different locale just for the sake of variety and a new experience.

All milestones and project assembly steps that you complete are kept, even if you move the SE or HUB.

As for keeping your factory from being a mess, best advice is to use foundations liberally, build a little off the ground so you can keep them level (use 4m walls to help measure this and give reasonable clearance), and avoid belting too much from too far away to make factories. Your starter base isn't going to be your "main" base, and effentually you won't even want a "main" base.

So I made a bit of a discovery with train tracks. Since 1.1 you have the ability to make a switch track without needing a piece of track after that. Meaning you have two tracks going in the same direction and you can put them together into a V shape. As this does make it convenient when building big switch yards it has a consequence. For one, I think you've all seen the trains turning on a dime at these ends. The other is that this becomes the culprit behind the signals getting the "Signal Loops In On Itself" error. No matter which way stations are turned, you MUST build the tracks completely to your final destination before splitting, and in the Same Direction. You cannot build a piece forward, then split backwards. Always Forwards (except if it is a bidirectional shuttle system).
