...well, i stand corrected about my lag problem. nvidia prime (a linux control app for nvidia) did revert back to the igpu default, but even after fixing that, having youtube open (playing a video or not!) in any browser window, is still tanking SF's framerate... in firefox only. in chrome, i was able to watch youtube just fine with no issues on either end!

nothing's been updated in the past few days (SF, any mods, firefox, chrome, or drivers), and i've cold-rebooted several times already, so i have no idea what's causing this... and it's only happening in SF, not in other games like euro truck sim

There's 4 nodes next to it. With mk 1 miners you can get a good amount of power going that will last you for a while. When you unlock mk 2 miners, you can easily hit 64.

You don't even have to use the water from that lake. If you use it from the higher lake, on top of the waterfall, you need 0 pumps 🙂

As long as you keep everything in a grid it's kind of easy mode though. Just make sure there's enough space everywhere and rebuild things when it doesn't work out.

Your first factory will look like a mess. And your first power plant will too.

After that, it depends on what you want to focus on.

But once you've made more than a handful of factories and a handful of powerplants, you'll want something that's not as much of a mess.

It's easier to get it right when it doesn't look like a mess, in my experience.

Don't feel bad if the first 50 hours is just messy factories. We've all started somewhere.

Honestly not sure why that rate is there. Ideally though, you will only get what the node purity is. So, if it's an impure oil node, You'll only get 60/min @ 100%

Understanding that graph will help you find wiring errors.

HUD scaling is marked as experimental, so it wouldn't surprise me if they'll take suggestions on making the to-do list its own variable.

I'd be in favour of splitting it out.

I'd like to put the rest of the HUD on 1 and the to-do list on 0.7 or so.

On 1, the to-do list currently is very in-your-face.

But honestly you learn to ignore it after a while.
