One thing I hate but actually love the afterwork is when you modify something in the production line, then one thing leads to another causing whole power network failure. I added a production line that needed more quickwire, so the constructors were using alot of caterium ingot. This caused my splitter that was overflowing caterium for cable production to stop. This caused my crystal oscillator to stop that was required for uranium fuel rods. Geez, problem fixed but it was fun to investigate what caused the issue. All havoc loose, my trains collided and everything went haywire. Now it's fixed, because FICSIT.

Default TF, sure - you at least get more than double the oil efficiency at the cost of all that sulfur and coal. I don't think it's worth it, but I could see someone thinking otherwise. no it's tbf, i think i know my math pretty well, oil has a much higher opportunity cost than sulfur because it's literally impossible to use all the sulfur unless you do stupid amounts of leached ingots, even with max uranium

I started in grasslands as well. When I finished phase 2, I built a hypertube all the way to dune desert. I'm gonna rebuild all the basic prods and set up the more advanced ones too. For oil, I saw a neat setup where you have 300 oil/min going into 10 refiners with 5 for plastic and 5 for rubber. You then take the Heavy Oil Residue and use that to make residual fuel for 1200mw power.
