And now that Red, Majima and Arle are taking the 3 next Slots, only 2 free Slots remain unknown, inbetween TMNT and Avatar in Q3 of this Year.

I don't understand the reason for not giving a voice even to the characters that are their own; the argument they gave didn't help at all, it only made the problem worse

Because they would need voice actors for every language that the game supports, which they most likely don't have yet.
Just because they have English VAs now, doesn't mean they have voices for all languages.
And they can't just turn to the English voice actors and demand they do voices for Crossworlds. There's money and contracts involved, as well as the dev team for the game currently working on other parts of the game, such as the new gadgets for example and whatever bug fixes they may be working on. Time, money, hiring more voice actors. There's a lot that goes into game development and they can't just snap their fingers or drop everything they're currently doing to go back and add voices. It's a lot more work than people think.

As for languages, Japanese and English are sufficient, since it's highly likely that most characters in the original games won't have voices in other languages.
As for the rest of the game, I think we can wait until it's finished, otherwise they'll just recycle some audio clips from the original material. Adding interactions isn't strictly necessary (a single predefined interaction is enough, if they even bother)

I could see that happening if the next game includes their voices. If they do intend on a 2nd season pass, and they're working on a game with those voices for someone like Tangle/Whisper simultaneously, then they can probably squeeze in Crossworlds voice work into whatever contract they need to sign.
Depends on what their work load already looks like, plus voice actor schedules.

Even though Japanese and English are the main languages for the Sonic series, it's still important to have the translations for other languages for those who don't speak/understand them.
As for reusing old voice lines, for example, Werehog, they would still have to pay the OG voice actor to reuse those lines. This is the same with reusing music, as the incident between Crush 40 and Sega over Live and Learn proves how important that is. And if they wanted to use new voice actors, that goes back into what I said about money, time, and getting different language speakers and translators for subtitles. Also have to account for those voice actors' scheduling.

i mean, they don't have to do beyond those two languages, smash bros. ultimate's dlc does this, despite that game also having multiple other language options, so i don't see how they can't with this either other than they want to penny pinch with voice actors THAT hard

Didn't know Smash Bros did that with their DLC as I've never played any of that DLC.
Still, when it comes to the money part, they can't just throw out money and say "here you go" to the voice actors and then have it done, so they do have to be cautious with how much is spent. The voice actors have to agree to the amount they're being given, which usually isn't cheap depending on who it is, which ends up taking time because there will be negotiations that have to be done, then that amount has to be kept within their allowed budget for the game+DLC, and then there's all the legal stuff like contracts they would have to go through. I'm not saying it's impossible, just extremely unlikely.

then i just hit and drive well and manage to win some races

or when i get ring grab i put like 2 bounties and 2 other things that can be whatever

i tested a trick bounty + trick expert + slipstream bounty + item summon to some success

i manage to get decent rings

and still compete

I understand that most characters only have Japanese and English voice acting, but I think they could have done something like Smash Ultimate. And no, it's not necessary to create new interactions; just voice acting for the actions, character selection screen, results screen, and a few other minor elements is sufficient
