Although, this probably also confirms something that I was kind of afraid would happen in maybe a few years down the line when stuff starts to shut down… No way to obtain DLC, free or not. Biggest example I can think of is Lego Dimensions. A large majority of that game is basically considered lost media now.

Only way I could see Sega remedying this would be if they pulled a Megaman XDiVE Offline and made a definitive version of sorts with all the content so we don’t have to worry about not being able to do anything while offline.

I dunno, I know it’s probably too early in CrossWorlds’ lifespan to be worrying about this, but still.

Like… I’m trying not to treat this like a live service game, even though it partially is, and I’m just playing the game for the offline content, but it would REALLY SUCK if there wasn’t a way to at least obtain every machine and character after services go down.

all i did was watch the replay of who was ~25th, copy the gadget plate + lines and it was simple

there are a few that'll take longer but 90% of them would take you maybe 2-3 collective days

metal harbor on both speeds is difficult
wonder museum on sonic speed is difficult
steampunk city on super sonic speed is actually kinda tight
minecraft world on super sonic speed might take you like 30 minutes alone
bikini bottom on super sonic speed is hell incarnate

For added context with Steampunk City you’re working with a time that if you cut off 1 second you’d be in the top 100 for SSS
It’s not the hardest because the track isn’t awkward (if you can do it once you can probably consistently do it) but you don’t have much margin for error

Okay, I just came up with a big-brained strategy for earning more tickets. Basically, you gotta play by yourself in 2-player mode in Race Park, although you actually have to DO something, because it won’t give you the extra tickets if you just stay still for the entire match. So, if you don’t have any friends to play with, you at the very least need to do a decent amount of multitasking with a second controller, lol.

Not sure if the game gives out more tickets for going in with 3 or 4 players, hopefully someone can fact check me on that, lol.

I think they're talking about AI Silver's previous color before he was changed to Teal.

So, I mostly just try to get S Ranks with my favorite vehicle, which is my Speed Car. The gadget set up for the car has been the same throughout. When using the speed cars, you have to mainly stay in straight lines to get the most speed. But, because there's quite a lot of turning in some tracks, I put drifting gadgets, so that when I do turn, I can get a level 3 drift as quickly as possible. Speed stat affects how fast you move when boosting as well as top speed. And the starting rings gadget is because you want to get rings as soon as possible and I found the starting rings to be really useful.

As for the Extreme Gear, that's been my last resort option for S Ranks if the speed car really can't do it or struggled too much. As for the Extreme Gear gadget set up, I mainly just took inspiration or just copied gadgets I saw on the leaderboard.
Watching people on the leaderboard is what I did if I really struggled with finding the optimal pathing on some tracks.

How was that LC for ya?

It wasn't as bad as I expected.
I've heard a lot of how people struggled with it or complained it was too hard.
It was actually pretty easy for me. I got platinum day 1 and then I took a break, forgot about the competition, and then got emerald a couple hours before it ended.

Considering, that they banned 2 Slot Gadgets (meaning no DRE Meta), it really made some Things easier, yea
I just wish in General, that they need to slow the Mode down as we've consistently been getting it like every Month

Yeah, I'm glad they banned the DRE meta. That was nice because falling behind meant losing the race 90% of the time when versing it.
And they definitely need to chill with the amount of legend competitions for sure. 😭 Maybe once every 2 months instead would be better.
