The main reason for that scenario was due to the game crashing, which literally prevented players from playing the game.

As for EGS, the game is still playable, so the priority to deploy the bug fix or balance change is low.

Truth be told, whether the game is still playable or not is the main thing that the other perspective cares about. As long as people are still playing the game, nothing needs to be done immediately.

I personally am not a fan of this broad mindset, but at the end of the day, it is what it is.

An exception to the playability clause would be an individual experiencing issues playing the game. Since it does not affect the playability of the game as a whole, the priority is set to low until a future update. Quite a utilitarian principle, if you ask me.

QA testing always seems to be the problem. They probably just don't have enough people to properly test characters for a good period of time to work out any kinks outside of making sure the skills function in game, and leave it to release being the primary bulk testing of a characters performance (excluding temporary over-tuning for sales reasons since this is a free-to-play game) and adjust accordingly... eventually.
Of course perfection on release will NEVER be a thing, because that's just impossible no matter what game it is, and I'd be a fool of a player to expect perfection, but a good polish and stability is really important.

Buuut that's just my observation opinion as a game design student based off of what I've learned over the years.

only nerfs i want for EGS are

• Pit Stop and Blue Tornado cannot be used by opponent EGS
• Slight nerf to Slipstream Whirlwind's boost/range
• Speed reduction to Pit Stop maybe?

keep the boosting stuff, just tone everything down and make sure that multiple EGS cannot team
