You cannot get extra affixes on the set, the primary outcome from corrupting them is to turn them into those random reforged set itrems.

It's still the unique you pick, then should just be able to search by affixes. Usually it's easier to find an LP unique and T7 exalt to slam instead.

If you're playing solo, you can use Temporal Sanctum dungeon exit to get into Chapter 9 where the Item Factions are. Also on subsequent characters in the same game mode / shared stash, the Item Factions will be in the first town in Chapter 1, Keeper's Camp.

Just keep playing! And try to not buy a ton of Stash Tabs and Runes of Shattering : ) you can also look for Echo Rewards that give gold and Gold Shrines in echoes. Most items don't vendor for much gold, so it's usually not worth it to pick up regular items just to vendor them. Uniques sometimes sell for a little bit, though.

Yes, here's a few examples

• Permanent Bond node in Summon Wolf gives an extra wolf that doesn't count towards max companions.
• Beastmaster mastery base gives +1 max companions.
• Nature's Embrace node in Beastmaster gives +1 max companions.
• Artor's Legacy unique helmet gives +1 max companions.
• The Land Before unique idol gives +4 max companions, but they all have to be the different companion type.
• River Champion's affix gives +1 max companions.

Probably? If Farsight Turtle actually upgrades the LP and you don't want that, you can just stick it right back in again and rerolling it again. It does spit out most items with zero LP.

Fair, but the "shatter for affixes" could be construed that they want the item to still have usefulness. My gripe is that it just wasn't clear, so I've been corrupting in hopes of an upgrade. Now I have exalted affixes I can't use accept to get back as shards. Not a big deal, just a suprise.

Are you looking at a guide? Mouse over one of the items. At the bottom it should say something like "Rune of Ascendance" or "Drops from Boss Name". If you see Rune of Ascendance, then the item is a random drop item that you can possibly get from anywhere. Including from Rune of Ascendance and Circle of Fortune Prophecies. If you see a Boss Name, it's typically only from that boss. Although there are some Weaver tree nodes that can help make things like dungeon boss drops show up in echoes.

They drop pretty frequently later in the game. Like I usually play through Campaign until I get the Temporal Sanctum dungeon waypoint in Chapter 5, then go into the end game Monoliths until I get a Temporal Sanctum dungeon key. Then use the Temporal Sanctum dungeon exit to skip into Chapter 9 to join an Item Faction.

If you're not getting enough dungeon keys, there are some nodes towards the bottom of the Weaver tree to help get more.
