You want to try and max out resists using a mixture of blessings (which you get from monoliths, but particularly empowered monos - don't farm normal monos tbh), idols and your armour. Use forging and affixes to try and slot as much of it as you can into your armour and accessories

This game does not have direct player to player trading anymore - it was removed. Just item gifting when you're playing with friends and a resonance system to give items to friends. There is a Bazaar for buying/selling items one time if you join Merchant's Guild item faction.

With empowered there is a catch up mechanic for sure. I have not pushed normal monos that high. For empowered, just do one node in the new mono, and it will create a new node in the tree that you can do to catch up corruption (This is assuming you are pushing corruption as the same character)

Hello guys. I'm new to the game and I've been following a guide. I'm at a point in which I have all the necessary uniques for the build to function, but to further improve my gear I need specific item bases with all the necessary affixes. What is the best way to get those items? For example, I need an Opal Ring with Strength, crit chance, endurance and health. Should I grab every single Opal Ring I come across and attempt to craft on them or should I be more specific in my filter? Any advice?

If you have lots of the crafting materials, feel free and experiment. If you have little of one, you may want to hold off until you've got a better item. Also it's probably fine if you start with an item that has like 2/4 or 3/4 of the affixes and work towards a 4/4

It gives a lot of every single resistance type in a single item, which frees up slots in other areas, plus the HP, mana and dodge are good. Also, by the time you are farming it, you will be pushing the 180 stats to get the damage reduction, making it super OP for a single slot

It's basically super powerful for defence in a single item

Run the boss again. If it drops a blessing you want, you can switch to that, or keep your current one. You may just want to head on into empowered though, which have blessings with a higher roll value.

Flat damage is part of the base value for calculations. +93 is hefty. 400% increased is "just" an additive. It's thrown in the pile with all your other increases and despite appearances isn't doing *nearly as much as having the base number be raw 93 higher, which all of the math (including said increases) then plays off of

It means that the item will roll random affixes. You obviously can only have 4 affixes on an item, but then the affixes could level up tiers. This will happen after killing enemies, and in your case up to 9 times

You can change it by running the boss again, and if you see something you want better you can switch to it. Or in the end of time area on the right side, there is a blessing respec NPC that you can use to switch to. Blessings you've seen drop from that boss

To be specific:

As you gain XP so will the Unique. Eventually, it will level up and add a new Tier 1 Affix from the pool of possible Affixes for that item slot (example: If you equip a ring, it can only roll affixes that can be added to a ring.) Up to 4 new affixes can be added (two prefixes, two suffixes) and they can be upgraded as high as Tier 7. Whether a new Affix is added or a Tier is upgraded is pseudo random, with the chance being weighted towards upgrading an existing affix. Each upgrade on the item lowers the Weaver's Will by one. This process can be continued until there is no more Will left on the item.

There's no level requirement on monoliths. And characters in the same game mode share the stash and in chapter 1 the very first town you can join the item faction. This makes it very easy for you to get items onto your alt. Also, creating a legendary item does not change the required item level. So you can make absolutely disgusting leveling legendary items for your alt.

It just means you can't get power level to max in a few minutes like in D3. You earn XP up to your character level + 10. So if you're character level 75 in an area level 90 area, then you earn XP as if you were in an area level 85. This isn't that big of a deal, you'll level up fine.

The Attribute Scaling is typically 4% increased, you can push Alt key to see it. Flat +Damage is changed by the Damage Effectiveness list. For the other tags, if it has Melee, Fire, and Spell on it, then it is improved by things like % increased: Melee Damage, Fire Damage, Spell Damage. Elemental Damage includes Fire. But something like % increased Physical Damage wouldn't help, as it doesn't have a Physical tag.
