they scale exactly the same. melee crit chance work for only melee. crit chance works for everything. spell crit chance only works for spells

My first rule in any loot filter is hide all white/blue/yellow and I start that at like lvl 5. The rest of your rules will be showing the things you want, no reason to show all yellows.

There's a difference in increases tô crit, and flat crit. The increases are additive and multiply by your base crit, that is 5% by default. When you get a base crit mod it gets added to your base and then multiplied by the others modifiers. For CRIT build base crit is the best mod. Give a look on katanas, as they add base crit and CRIT multi

The whole benefit of the loot filter is it hides things so you aren't wasting time looking at them or picking them up. This way if it shows in through my filter, it is worth looking at. You can mess with your filter at any time but you should be able to make something basic right away, the game wants you to know what you are planning to do by lvl 15.

Cthonic Fissure puts up Torment Curse. It's a DoT build. Fissure has a couple passives that give you scaling from Necrotic Resist and Crit Multi. Boneclamor Helmet gives you Ward per Second from Necrotic Res. You stack a lot of Necrotic Res and use other DoTs/buffs like Spirit Plague, Wandering Spirits, and Profane Veil. Transplant for movement.

There's more advanced stuff with other items, but that's the basic setup.

worth noting, "Cooldown Reduction" is actually pretty rare, specific to certain skill nodes, passives or uniques. "Cooldown Recovery Speed" appears much more often. CSR effectively makes each second that passes count as more seconds towards cooldown. E.g. 100% CSR means each second counts as 1 [baseline] +100% [CSR] = 2 seconds elapsed. So a skill with a 5 second cooldown and 100% CSR takes 2.5 seconds to come off cooldown, whereas (hypothetically) if you actually had 100% Cooldown Reduction it would have 0s cooldown

• Summon Wolf passive Pack Hunters +1 max companions.

So up to 7 max companions (Wolves), you'll also need the Wolf passive or amulet The Claw or The Fang. You can also use Scurry helmet for a bunch of squirrels

same thing can be seen when looting 20 runes at once from the ground. Game needs to calculate for each one that you take it from the ground and add +1 to your inv/stash or wherever the code stores them. Lots of players have been reporting a 0.5 second freeze when picking up runes regardless of how poerful their PC is.

It's going to take a while. Maybe you can find a +15 Shade on the very edge but I'm usually hitting an edge with +10-12 range. If you have 2 Gaze that's +20. So maybe +30-32 a go, maybe +35 if you found a higher Shade. There's also diminishing returns on Gaze, so there's not much point in stacking it really high. Example, 3 Gaze was +27, 4 Gaze was +31 and 5 Gaze was +35.

Soul Stealer warlock passive, 13% on hit per curse on enemy to regenerate mana.

I saw a comment stating that each curse had its own 13% on hit to refund mana, suggesting each had its own cooldown. Anyone tested this? I feel it would be 3 second cooldown for any mana regen to proc but even with more than enough hits, more curses did give me faster mana regen by about 25%

I think I've seen that thanks. But I might still miss something about corruption. I just watched a video suggesting you get to 2 Gaze of Orobyss before fighting a Shade. The video seems to be completely fine with that but doesn't this mean you have to run an entire empowered monolith twice from scratch and then finish a third to use up your Gaze in a Shade fight which will net you let's say 15 base and 20 bonus corruption from the Gaze. So you run one timeline three full times to gain 35 corruption? Isn't it better to go for a 11-12 corruption Shade fight every time instead to get the same but less risk I guess?

You get the gaze of orobyss from the timeline boss and the gaze of orobyss gets consumed by the reset pretty much to increase the gains

If I recall correctly, you reset at 2 gaze because starting with the third one, the bonus corruption from gaze start having diminished returns.

If you reset after every gaze, you also have to restart using echos with lower stability base and bonus stability. If you reset at two, at least youre milking the higher stability echos till you start balancing off the diminished returns.

You farm Echos from 0 to 800 stability, kill boss, +1 Gaze of Orobyss. You do that again, farming stability from 0 to 800 +1 Gaze of Orobyss. And then on the third time, you actually find a high corruption shade to defeat? Kinda crazy to run a timeline three times so you can increase corruption by 30 on the third time.

I have a question. I play a void knight, i take the node from warpath so it start echoing and go through that entire path. Now we also have the echo passives. But does it scale with the skill nodes in warpath or is it useless? Since it says it doesnt scale with movement which the warpath skill itself isnt but at the last node of the warpath void knigjt nodes there is abyssal echoes which isnt movement.

Its the endgame mechanic, and an ARPG so its gonna be grindy. ALso keep in mind, echos gain bigger stability and stability bonuses the higher the corruption.
Branch out far as possible from the center to find echo of the worlds, keep farming till 800. -> Kill monolith timeline boss & gain 1 gaze -> Use your further echos to farm up 800 again (which is quicker now that youre out in the ohter echos) -> Kill monolith boss again, gain 2nd gaze -> Run Orbyss, lose all gaze, gain corruption, reset echo web. Repeat process from here till desired corruption level.

It's a minion first, so only minion related affixes apply to it (by default, not including the nodes that make it scale off your stats).

So +physical damage wouldn't do anything for it. You'd want +minion damage.

@tough warren I looked at my lower level VK. Put 2x points into Unchained to get to Reckless Spin. Those passives will bring Warpath down to a 2 mana cost. You should be able to channel it forever then. Once you have Volatile Reversal skill, you can use that to reset your mana back to full after you put up Sigils.

If you push S key and mouse over the skill, you can see the Damage tags. If you then push Alt or Ctrl + Alt you can get more details, like Damaged Added Effectiveness. The skill scales with those tags. If it says Fire, you can use +Fire, %increased Fire, %increased Elemental, etc.

Yeah if you've got a minion with Physical tag, then you can use Affixes that say +Minion Damage, %increased Minion Damage, +Melee Minion Damage, %increased Minion Physical Damage, etc. Just something like +Minion Spell Damage wouldn't help those minions. And it needs to say Minion on it for it to improve the minions.

Edit: I misread the question. They're using Unspecialized Skills and swapping the unspecced skills. They level back up very quickly. At high levels you can get a skill back to 20 in like 1-2 echoes.

plenty of reasons. you dont have shards. misselling the affix while searching. you dont have an open affix slot for it. you have no FP. the shard you have actually goes on something else (there are many armour shred affixes that dont just go on bows). hard to tell without seeing anything.

Oh, they're using Unspecialized Skills. The Shield Rush and Rebuke Skills aren't Specialized. They've put just the regular skill on the action bar. Looks like Healing Hands is not on the action bar, so something must be casting that automatically. They've put an unspecced Shield Rush in place of Healing Hands.

Because you're swapping out an unspecced skill, there's nothing to level up.

Youd have to replace with something you find off the ground or you may have non CoF tagged gear somewhere in your stash youd be saving up. Either way, if you werent in MG before, youd need to grind up the reputation ranks to buy the appropriate stuff.

A complete set means you're wearing the complete set. So if that set is made of 2 swords as the set then yes. You cant take a set with a belt and ring as the set and wear 2 of the same ring.

There are different types of damage: spell, melee, totem, and minion. Spell fire damage effects abilities marked with both "FIRE" and "SPELL" indicators. Melee fire damage effects abilities marked with both "FIRE" and "MELEE" indicators. Fire damage effects both. Increased spell damage/crit only effects the spell ability, and increased melee damage/crit only effects the melee ability. So an item with increased fire damage, and increased melee fire damage would be better for an ability marked "MELEE, FIRE"; however, the "SPELL, FIRE" ability would still benefit from the increased fire damage.

Im a huge POE trade guy but I still advise you to go CoF in this game. CoF will give you everything you need, you will drop more loot. It depends on your goals. First two orbs give +20, then, it's diminishing returns. Do you wanna push more corruption? Then, you go to Orobyss at 2-3 max. Do you wanna stay at the same level of corruption, to farm? Then, you don't go in at all, and die on purpose on him. You might actually not even wanna do the 850 Stability boss, if all you want is to farm items in that timeline.

Basically, if you're doing nodes AND the 850 Stability boss, be careful when/if you have to kill Oroboyss, because you might end jumping +40 Corruption, and you don't want that. It doesn't take THAT long to fill a web (reasonably), and then you'll think - hey, why don't I just reset it? I forgot about my Orbs, and got +40 corruption, when I intended to get +5. Of course, you can just reset it at the start node. Easier to just die really quick, and kill Orobyss, than waste ~1-2 mins on the reset thingie.

If you die fast, its most likely you having poor defensive stat, empowered is when you start to care about crit void/reduced crit, and having as much res as you can, hp around 2k without ward

For damage, you want to know which affix is great for your build, also your rotation on how to use the build

If you really dislike it. Sure just use a new char with build you like no problem, but you might hit the same wall on surviving and dealing dps
