@radiant roost Similar to PoE some are garbage, some are build defining. Unlike PoE you can turn uniques with legendary potentials into legendaries and they can be truly character defining items.

@final bronze The drop rate is abysmal and favors monoliths for drop rate due to the modifiers.

@cosmic vine You should get far enough to access the faction areas (not long after Lagon fight) especially if you went circle of fortune.

@mystic hollow You have no lighting damage shards, if you meant upgrade. If you want to replace you have to use an annulment item and it's completely random on what it's going to take off the item.

I once teleported to a friend that was in Yulia's Haven, it autoaccepted the chapter 6 main story chest.

Your faction choice is yours, if you wanna be non-trade go CoF, if you wanna buy stuff off AH go merchant.

@sonic kraken If you mean the rep to level up yeah it's technically wasted but you still earn the other currency to use the faction's services (Buy items, or prophecies)

@tidal surge You should just be able to go back, but if you're worried about passive/idol unlocks there are more quests that unlock those than are neccesary so you can skip some side quests without penalty.

@blissful dust There are 2 different health affixes that are named the same (Why? Who knows :P). There's flat health and % health. You are probably out of the one you need.

@karmic yew Yes it applies to all, but it does reduce non-physical damage at a slightly lower rate.

@valid grove Experimental affixes drop off the exiled mage sealed chests in areas.

@buoyant forge If he was on the map with you when it dropped, you can right click him and hit "gift". If he wasn't you'll have to play with him in a party until a resonance drops.

If you mean empowered monoliths then yes, that is normal. You're going from (Likely) 0 corruption level 90 to minimum 100 corruption level 100 areas.

@turbid sail Until you get to empowered monoliths generally most people recommend speed rushing the monolith, but it's up to you it's your game and playstyle. Do what makes you enjoy the game.

@hazy abyss Several videos on youtube you can find, but make sure you have one of each of the dungeon keys (Sans Arena) so you can use the campaign skips.

@minor sleet That's a bit of a big potential problem to answer in a discord chat channel. Make sure you have allowed Last Epoch access through your firewall/Windows Firewall. If you're using a VPN maybe disable it or switch regions. Try checking for updates/validate file integrity in steam. There's a lot of other potential issues that would basically make a wall of text though but these are some of the most common issues.

@sinful elbow Unless you get ward retention you're going to have ward rapidly decay, you need to build for it. Also if you're gaining ward based on missing HP constantly healing to full won't let you generate much ward you want to stay at low life to keep ward generation high.

@valid ridge If the skill they are using is tagged as a spell, yes. (Don't know what minions you're using)

@late sparrow No you are probably just in the wrong era, hit D to swap if you're trying to put something in it. Put items in in the past, take them out in the future.

It should work automatically if it's in your skill specialization setup. Don't confuse the way the affix is worded with "I can summon 1 more bone golem" it means "You get 1 additional skill point in the skill tree for it."

Yeah I know, I mainly tagged you in case that client bug might be happening to you and you aren't noticing bc you think you are connecting to EUW when in reality it's kicking you over to a US shard that is laggy AF for you. If you're sure you're on EUW maybe try validating your files through steam in case you have some kind of client issue. You aren't the first to complain about getting DC'ed after a monolith though but it was people from other regions too.

@fossil sinew If you're using melee abilities you'll do a little bit of flat fire damage if you're referring to the affix that gives flat fire damage, if you have no fire damage then the % one will be worthless.

@static forum If you want to chase corruption do it in empowered if you can do so. Empowered monos start at 100 minimum corruption. Normal monos also have a corruption cap of 50.

@marble breach Bug as far as I'm aware, most of the people I've seen die in a dungeon just sit on the floor and it's like there's some sort of desync. I've usually just ended up relogging. As long as the servers aren't pooping themselves relogging is probably the fastest resolution.

@nova plaza Yes and no. Mob HP goes up by 160% so as long as both players are pulling their weight you should get more XP overall. If one player is significantly more powerful than it might actually slow them down though.

@deft sun If they were in the zone with you when it dropped just right click them in party and hit gift. Otherwise you need a resonance.

@raw raven Speed run through the campaign and get to the higher level areas faster with the skips. As long as you don't let the area level go more than 10 levels higher than you there's no XP penalty. You do need a dungeon key for each of the dungeons to do this though.

@junior knoll If the item dropped as a result of your CoF affiliation it will require CoF rank to use.

@distant girder To fix this client bug you basically need to select a gateway that you are NOT trying to go on, then switch it back to the gateway you want (EU west) before hitting play online.

I get 4-6 disconnects per hour. Using bandwidth monitor I see once I desync, Download/Upload Peaks for sustained period until I DC.

@sterile venture Try launching the game in full offline mode, if it works then his firewall is probably blocking the game and for some reason the game likes to communicate in the launch sequence before fully loading.

@ocean cedar They will eventually reenable the buttons that allow you to transfer a character from SSF to non-SSF without editing files for offline characters, so you could use that instead of editing files if you wait for them to fix it. Otherwise you can pickup the items you want to transfer to your druid, edit the character to non-SSF and transfer. Don't think i've seen any guides on editing the offline stash files.

@tranquil pebble Can you be more specific on what kind of problem you are having with it? This feature is fairly robust and has been tested extensively so it generally works if you set it up good.

@graceful shore You probably won't have keys to speed run the campaign using the alt routes but if that isn't a problem then go nuts.

@proven pine T4 is the current highest tier of dungeon content (besides Arena infinite), nothing after currently.

@violet temple When you acquire the quest look on the map and select the quest it will tell you if it gives a passive/idol upgrade as a reward. There are more side quests that grant passive/idols than is neccesary so you can skip the campaign and still get what you need.

@fluid lantern 99% no on this, exalts are drop only and I don't think a crit success in the forge can make a T5 into a T6 but I'm only 99% sure.

@boreal cypress This sounds like a potential loot filter problem, not being able to identify good upgrades if you're not running one, or not crafting your items as you go. Items drop out the wazoo although it's still an RNGfest to find one you can use.

@deft sun That's another risk / reward question. Empowered monoliths will have a higher % chance drop rate due to innate min 100 corruption but ofc you risk dying. Also remember that the higher rarity % in empowered monoliths affects normal shard/rune drop from monsters so you could potentially see more from monsters or shrines before you potentially die also.

I have a basic filter on that screens out normal/rare items. It is not working. I have tried switching it on and off, and it just doesn't seem to be responding. To be fair I haven't tried layering it with additional parameters to see if that could possibly fix it, but I modified the existing rule before from no normal loot on screen to no normal + no rare drops and it still wasn't responding. I'm not sure if I'm missing something incredibly obvious. I think the toggle loot filter is the X-key right? If you press/hold it down, filtered loot once again appears on screen. My issue is that filter doesn't seem to be applied in the first place, so toggle doesn't even work.

@boreal cypress My experience with loot filters from guides is they typically shaft you until midgame minimum (think lvl 40-50 minimum), naturally this doesn't happen in EVERY guide but the vast majority of chars I've played with builds from guides I tend to wait until 40+ before seriously engaging a guide's loot filter. Trust me though craft your items with common affix shards as you level it really helps. When you 0 out the forging potential start looking for something that is remotely half decent to craft with to replace it.

@tranquil pebble Remember that rules on the top have higher priority, if a rule on the top counteracts a rule below it the rule on top will take precedence. Also I've noticed some weird bugs where loot drops but then falls through the floor, but thankfully this has only happened in the campaign areas from what I've seen.

@trail crystal Depends on what you're trying to do but generally for endgame if you aren't resistance capped (75%) it takes priority.

@quick relic If it's in online mode there's currently no way to exit single account mode. They temporarily disabled the ability to disable these challenges for reasons.

@boreal cypress I read your question a bit wrong then, but I typically started finding decent post 30 upgrades from monoliths without too many problems. What build you running anyway? Also once you get a decent amount of runes of hope don't be afraid to try and anull semi crappy items and make them into good ones, stuff like that.

@graceful shore If the number field is empty it generally means you have no shards, or the affix is maxed out. T5 is the highest for standard crafting affixes, T2/T3 for some others.

@spiral grail The legendary crafting process can pull non-exalted stats as well, so you generally want a not-crap item to merge with so if it doesn't pull the exalted affixes it is not a total loss.

@boreal cypress If you are CoF get some prophecies for those slots, also the blessing from the first monolith can roll to improve drop rates for certain slots, although I personally try to get the unique drop rate one to farm for legendary potential/weaver's will items.

@stone swallow They are not terribly rare, I personally waited until monoliths on my first char but on my second and beyond I started using them to make semi decent leveling gear.

In runemaster, there is a passive called Afterglow in the sorcerer tree: Deal 3% increased spell damage and 3%ward retention for 4 seconds (doubled if using spells that cost over 40 mana) so then it would be giving you 6% increased spell dmg and 6% ward retention when you use this.

if intel gives 4% ward retention how much dmg is it giving?
wouldn't afterglow be better, since it would be giving 6% per point invested (assuming your abilities are costing over 40 mana consistently)

It can depend on your build. I felt the same way, but once you reach level 50+ it can begin to scale up in difficulty. Especially in Monolith. It'll get there eventually so no worries. I do wish the boss fights were a bit harder and had phases for a more interesting battle. Not entirely a bad thing.

@hybrid pier Yes although depending on your build it might be later in the game. There are two infinite difficulty scalars in game, empowered monoliths and endless arena (Both endgame activities).

It all depends on how many LPs your legendary item has (from 1 to 4)

You aren't going to find anything like that and it's not necessary. Game was pretty unplayable day 1 but has been fine since. Some people experience lag in co-op, some don't. A lot of people blame the "servers" when it's not that at all. Gamers are pretty stubborn to ever believe it's anything but the game that is the problem.

It is currently instance breaking and potentially progression breaking entirely.

(i.e. mana will occasionally stop regenerating on sentinel, even though 5 - 10 minutes go by, just sitting here doing nothing. Literally can't use skills, and this happens about 60% of the time randomly throughout instances. Sometimes I'll go through a run and nothing happens, more often than that though, about a third to two thirds of the way through a run, my mana will never regenerate. I have no buffs or mana/s req's going)

@vague agate the typical stuff really. Concept being first (clear or bossing), Then its what skill you want to try pushing. Then its getting min stats to stay alive (semi capped res etc) The decide your defence type (ward, dodge, block etc) then see if you have a good way to put a panic button and if you cant, Are you tanky enough to not care?

Warpath has 2 types mana cost. The starting cost and the channeling cost. The first passive you,re refering to "Unchained" reduce the channeling cost. You cannot reduce the channeling cost to 0. (Tho it would be useless has 4 or less is basicly 0).

@vague radish SSF reffers to Solo Self Found. Basicaly Saying they only play solo and don't trade with other players. HC is for Hardcore.

you cant and rune of ascension doesnt care about what helmet base you use. it only cares about it being a helmet

@gray axle Rune of ascension can and will reroll the base item. Using it on any helmet will do the same thing. The gladiator helmet base cannot drop directly anymore.

The subtype does not matter, just the item type. For example using a Rune of Ascendance on a silver ring can result in any unique or set ring (including those that are not silver rings) that could randomly drop, but cannot result in a unique helmet.

In SCF you cannot party, as the game tells you at character creation : " This character** will not be able to party** with nor obtain items found with other players. "

@acoustic thicket Every other Suffix (if you chaos a suffix) or Prefix is a possibility. You can see the list when looking for upgrades.

@runic ledge If the mana cost goes up for any reason you will still be able to use the spell. Some spell get bonus from being low mana or get similar bonus from item/set/class passives. So it might be interesting to be able to cast while at zero mana.

@el cabi 2handed affixes are stronger than 1handed ones (even on the same tier) so the amount of affix is not an immediate upgrade. Dual weilding can allow you to have different implicit or weapon types. (Maybe you want both a sword and an axe for some passives bonus for example).

@Tulkas Death Rattle increased minion critical strike chance. Not your own. It's also an increased, not a base addition. It can roll from 5 to 35% meaning that your 5% basicly multiply with the base crit of your minion. (If your minion has a base crit chance of 5%, adding a 5% increased will only make it 5.25% (5*1.05).

I was under the impression that, if I try to change for example Cold Resistance, that the pool would consist only of other resistance suffixes (for example Fire Resistance, Elemental Resistance, etc). @rotund dome The animation spin speed doesn't change but more attack speed will give you more hits per second. (You can see how it scales while pressing alt when hovering on the skill).

On dual wielding : Dual-wielding does not grant you increased attack speed per se.
If you are dual-wielding you have a attack speed multiplier of the average attack speed of both weapons equipped.

How does that 40% chance for ailments effect the spin. If I have 140% chance to apply an ailment then its every hit OR I only have a 60% chance to apply say a 140% chance.
