@coarse rivet you can access Monoliths as soon as you reach End of Time in your early 20s. The first Monolith is area level 58. If you want to finish the Campaign first, it currently ends in Act 9 - the next 3 chapters aren't out yet - and you'll get +1 all stats after the Majasa fight. But you don't have to do that fight if you'd rather go into Monoliths. Or do it later.

I've raised a bug report for this already (as it doesn't seem normal). But has anyone else noticed the longer the game is open for, the worse the FPS gets? I go from 144FPS down to 10-20 average after the game is open for an hour. @fiery pond No, unless you want to re-fight the boss. But you'd be better off just going onto to next Monolith and getting into Empowered Monoliths.

@fresh moon you need to do the 3x level 90 Monoliths to unlock Empowered. After you do those 3x, walk back to the area in between all three and there will be a little cut scene, click on the thing in the middle, then you can select Empowered when you click on a Monolith.

@primal inlet TPing out is safe if the transition goes through. I'm not sure about quitting the game. If you TP or go to another zone and it's sitting there loading, you can get attacked still. Which is a bit annoying.

@bright sluice it's the Y key on a keyboard, so if there's not a controller bind for that, you can use the Steam Overlay Controller settings to set a controller button to be keyboard Y key

@errant nest the first tier is area level 55, but you can definitely do it below that if you have the key. On my first Cycle character, I got to 15/15 Passives and 8/8 Idols in Act 7, then jumped into Monoliths until I got a Temporal Sanctum key drop, then skipped into Act 9 to get to the factions. I was probably low 50s at that point.

@fresh moon No, you must use an Exalted item with exactly 4 affixes. Sealed affixes aren't counted and aren't used. You could try to remove a stat you don't want and then craft something else in its place. But you need to have 4 affixes.

it's something that's killing you, like enemies enrage at half health and the boss is crushing you. But you'd also lose out on the increased item rarity bonus from the echo mod. You can do the same thing by doing other echoes until the nasty mod is gone. Edit for your second question: Blessing and Boss only drops.

The only things I can think of are checking for latest drivers or fiddling with settings (swapping resolution then swapping back, VSYNC off/on, etc). @flint forum If you respec a skill, it goes down to a minimum skill level. It will then earn increased experience until it levels back up to a certain point. It's typically very fast to respec skills in the late game.

@icy ingot currently no. You need to get the item as a drop with LP. That's the end game item chase / grind. Find a LP Unique, find an Exalted with the mods you want, get lucky in the Legendary crafting.

@cerulean zephyr it refers to the trade faction rank needed to use that item. Which won't be an issue unless you decide to change trade factions.

@ebon compass what about X key? Or going into the trade filter screen with Ctrl + F and switching to a different filter? Most filters don't filter out uniques though.

@woeful mantle yeah Monoliths into Empowered Monoliths. There's also 3 Dungeons and the Arena.

@safe mortar Exalted item must have 4 affixes to be used in Legendary Potential crafting. Sealed affix is not counted or used.

@worthy horizon both initially. The yellow rare items have at least 3 affixes, from T1-T4. The purple Exalted items have at least one T6-T7 affix. It's possible to get an Exalted item with a single T6 affix - which might become more useful with crafting - but a rare item with multiple T4-T5 mods is likely going to be more useful to you initially. Over time you'll end up with more of your items being Exalted though.

@slender hawk no, Rune of Ascendance acts like it's being used in level 100 area. You can possibly generate any unique/set item that isn't a boss only drop. Some uniques are definitely rarer though. There's a simulator here if you'd like to play around with it https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/ascsim

@gentle cedar that's a boss only drop. Rare as well. Your best bet is to farm for it in Empowered. Took me a good 20 tries last time I got one, but it's random and your luck will of course vary.

@crisp sentinel no it's random which affixes are transferred. 1 affix randomly selected per LP. Unless you have a 4 LP Unique and then all 4 are transferred. But 4 LP is very rare. I don't think I've ever found one. Have found some 3 LPs though.

@crude fjord same general item base type. Any bow with exactly 4 affixes - sealed aren't counted or used - with any LP Bow.

@acoustic thicket go up the right side and do the 3x level 90 Monoliths. Then walk back to branching path before them and interact with the thing in the middle. You can skip the left side and Empowered will unlock them all at level 100 with base 100 Corruption.

@clever dagger is it an item with yellow-ish affix that you found in a chest? There's some special leveling items you can randomly find in the campaign.

@brave jacinth no, it needs to say minion on the affix.

@neat gazelle no they just move you along faster. Like I use the Temporal Sanctum exit to get into Act 9 faster, but I typically stick to the Campaign until I've got the 15/15 passives and 8/8 idols unlocked. There are more quests than you need to cap, though. Something like 23 Passive unlock quests. So if you skip one, you can always do a later one instead. Hey all, I'm trying to figure out how the damage calculation works but I can't work it out.
I have a naked Primalist, holding just a two-handed axe, which gives +25 melee dmg & +8 melee void dmg.

Fury leap has a 250% dmg increase effectiveness, 40% increased dmg due to 10 str and (i'm assuming) 2 base dmg.
I also got 2 points in "Panther Strike" which gives 12% more dmg

Based on my calculations:

(25dmg * 250% effectiveness ) + 2base dmg= 64.5
64.5 * 140% = 90.3 dmg <-- increased dmg calculation
90.3 * 112% = 101.136 dmg

So I calculate 101 dmg, but according to the tooltip it does 139 dmg.
Am I miscalculating something?

@crude fjord the echo web and stability is separate in regular and empowered. And it's per character. There are certain echoes you can use to re-roll the echo web though.

@bronze aspen Shatter gives you at least one affix shard, but on items with multiple affixes you may get zero of one or more of the affixes. If you really want that those affix shards, use Removal - it gives you the a stack of shards equal to the tier on the affix it removes. Example, T5 gives 5x of that affix shard when Removal hits on it.

@onyx fractal yes, try Alt or Ctrl+Alt. I can't remember off the top of my head, but one of those shows you the tier value range and the other gives you a more detailed description

@modest dock If it's your time doing that Monolith, no, I don't believe you can. If you run the same Monolith again, you can choose to not change it. Note that those item drop Blessings are extra chance. It won't reduce anything.

@bright sun you can definitely go through the Campaign with your own build, especially if you have ARPG experience. It's also very easy to respec your Skills and Passives. You can change everything except your class and mastery.

@ember rampart killing the Shade resets the Monolith echo web. If you raise the stability again you can fight the boss again and you can optionally change the Blessing if you want. That said, it's generally not worth it to farm regular Blessings. Once you do the 3x level 90 Monoliths and go into Empowered Monoliths, the Empowered Blessings have a higher value range. The lowest roll Empowered Blessing is better than the highest roll regular Blessing.

you're not meant to edit your character to begin with, your lying to yourself in the end, but cosmetics are a product you gotta pay for, and if they allowed it locally you could get them by editing your char without paying for it. And since it's completely offline there's no server connection to verify if you have these items or not.

@jolly hinge It's more efficient to spam the bosses if you want one of the boss unique reward. If you want shard, it's better to spam the echoes. Really depend. Also Empowered Monolith doesn't require doing the 2 missions to reach the boss, you can do the boss directly.

@amber cobalt yeah, faction doesn't matter except for trading item. You can't give item for your faction to someone from another faction and vice versa. You can play and gift non-faction items.

@covert tusk yes you need to raise the stability again to fight the boss again. The farther out echoes do give more stability, but they will have longer duration echo modifiers as well.

@jolly hinge complete the echo objective and move on. You don't need to full clear the echo.

@tall thorn Exalted items just have at least one T6-T7 affix. Keep ones that your build can use and keep ones that you may want to use for Legendary crafting.

@static tusk can you load into End of Time? After Majasa that's currently the end of the first 9 parts of the campaign, the other 3 aren't out yet. The quest after Majasa is just to talk to people in End of Time and go into Monoliths. But you can just go into Monoliths anyway without that quest.

Okay yea Im pretty sure is either outdated or miss interpreted. But in the “Gear Walkthrough” page here https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/resources/gear-walkthrough. If you go to legendary affixes and look at the picture of Siphon of Anguish, you can see it says it was combine with exalted boots. However this ss what it confuses me when it says “By 'same type' we mean it fits in the same gear slot” does this mean any unique weapon could be combined with any exalted weapon since they fit in the same gear slot? Hah, that's a silly error on their end, as those mods aren't even on boots, so you didn't misinterpret it, good catch! I think they had a bit of a mental slip up with the boots below them.
As for your question, you need to have the exact same item type, so a unique 1H axe will need to be combined with a rare/exalted 1H axe, a 1H sword or a 2H axe for example will not work.

Yes because your hardcore character was moved from hardcore to softcore and they have different resource pools. If you had made softcore characters beforehand you would see their mats/gold upon dying in hardcore.

If you didn't play character found, what likely happened is that you just got transfered to softcore, so if you didn't play softcore before, you won't have any gold/mats there. If you make a new HC character, I think you'll have your gold/mats.

One question, i have this skill on boots: " 7 minions teleported around you after to use a trasversal skill" but in my necromancer build i have summon skeletal mage with talent to convert it as trasversal skill, but it not work's, it's a bug or you can't use that boots if you not are using "Trasplant" skill?

Did you use the character found option? If so, that should be explained, indeed.
If not, try making a new HC character to see if you still have your gold and mats, if they're gone on your alt as well, that sounds like a bug.

CoF isnt solo, you can still play with freinds. Furthermore leaderboards and cosmetics are only availble online. And you can also, if you choose at any point, switch over to trade.
