I feel like this has been asked a lot but im not sure how to search it. How does spells casting spells work? Specifically I'm interested in black hole's ability to cast meteor every second.

  1. Does it trigger meteros nodes like aftermath, which refunds some mana?
  2. Do damage increases to black hole, likeumbral core (10% damage for black hole) affect the meteors it casts?
  3. Arcane Ascendance grants increased spell damage while active. It has a node which grants spell damage for the next 4 spell casts. Does that spell damage affect the entire duration of black hole? Does it affect the meteors black hole casts? If so, does each meteor consume one of the four?
  4. similar but the sorcerer passive 'preparation' boosts your next spell every 3 seconds. If you boost a black hole does it boost all the meteors it drops, or will the boost be consumed by the next meteor when it procs?

For people who say offline does not work, they might be using the "wrong" one.
If you launch game normally you can choose between offline and online, that way even offline has chat and other function so it still connects to their servers.
You can launch the game in true offline, which does not rely on their servers whatsoever. I was able to play that way even without any internet connection

The reason devs get so much praise for a good launch is because bad launches are the norm - I don't understand why it's so surprising to so many of you that an indie dev's first release is having a bit of trouble in its first few days, not to mention the game is still fully playable in offline mode

So yes, you might be able to connect as they put the API up.. but you should expect it to be down or poorly playable. Hard to read I guess? 🙂

And there you should be able to see all of your save files. These files can be opened on notepad and there you'd be able to see the character name/level/etc. There are backups of each save file with the ending [.bak] extension. If you can find your character in one of those save files you can restore it by simply removing the [.bak] extension [do not delete the entire folder - only the extension]

I could not connect after the fight with the gods when you're supposed to be TP'd to Heoborea, after speaking to Yulia, so now I have to go back through all three zones from the Gates of Solarum, I guess? 😦
