there are no real differences outside of online things like leaderboards, trading, and chat. i honestly have no idea if it will help with bugs, but you shouldnt have issues loading zones on offline

it is in arpg, there is a reason why you can't have it. ONLINE keeps character as an entry in database, offline keeps it on local client, you cant allow to sync local client character object to server, that would be major liability with cheaters modifying their local savegame offline and sync process would be extremely problematic. therefore that is why you don't have that in argp , among other reasons.

The quest is Saving last refuge. On the other characters ive leveled, youre supposed to teleport to the End of Time and unlock your mastery. On this character, Dialogue just loops, no portal opens, no way to progress. Ill keep exploring around to see if there is a workaround 🙂

You cannot trade an item again that youve bought from the AH. In my leveling party, I wasn't able to trade an item to a friend I found because he was in town selling while it dropped... like wtf? Were level 24 and havent gained any "resonance" playing with each other in that entire time. You have an SSF version of the game, why not have a free trade market version? So much extra dev time to create these imo dumb systems to gatekeep trade. Is this decision made to "keep players playing longer" blizzard-style or whats the actual reasoning for this crippled trade. You wont get to save that particular affix no, u need that unique belt to get that specific power. (unless that made changes for 1.0) i would stash that belt for later if you want the power for an endgame build.

If the server matchmaking fails during a forced teleport, such as when the dude teleports away with the two shards in act 1 (when you are supposed to be reported to the void), or on "Saving last refuge" when you are supposed to be teleported to the end of time, then your character becomes bricked.

It will not be possible to teleport there manually...

So a hotfix would be good to add actual clickable time rifts to all of those quests to provide a release valve for people who became bricked due to the current matchmaking situation.

If you're stuck in connecting or in #0 queue or whatever other weird behaving connectivity issues TO YOUR CHAR lobby, restart the game. If you're already in the char screen selection and you can't connect wellcome aboard, everyone is having different variants of the same issue

Offline and Online characters are in different universes. There is nothing connecting them. To play offline you need to exit the game then configure offline more in Steam then enter the game, so you are in true offline mode.

It is 100% impossible to connect offline characters to online characters. It would open a breach for cheating and it would destroy the game. The only possibility of it happening is if you buy the company and tell the employees to allow offline characters to be played online and vice versa.
