How do builds enable good health regen?
getting the flat regen affixes on slots that have them is pretty key, because every single one of them is higher than your base regen. then just stacking as many % increased regen affixes as possible.
it's generally not worthwhile unless you're using something elese that scales with regen (Vessel of Strife), since you can normally just get leech and get the same result much more easily
Also shattered lance exists
But spark is correct. You will never be able to just rely on massive Regen to survive
Yeah, if you play a build with only regen for recovery, it's generally like playing a ward build, but worse. Gotta have vessel or shattered lance to make the regen do more.
how can i quickly pick up items
do i have to click on them?

I'm playing a "low life" build with % of life missing is converted to Ward.
Sometimes I die to whatever, although I still have 200 or upwards ward.
And when I'm dead I still see the amount of ward I had.
Is that because that last hit, killing me is doing enough dmg to one hit me?
The life pool is a bit weird since they have enabled the death animation (or I just started to noticed it since then)
yeah sometimes ward and life just regens after you've died. It's just visual disconnect between client and server afaik.

I still wish there would be some way to farm for something that lets you switch mastery, so you do not have to create a whole new character to try other mastery options of a class. I would gladly farm content for an option to do that. So many more variabilities of play styles. While I know it is the only thing that cannot be changed, having something that would allow you to for people who want that option would be a great QOL improvement to an outstanding game.
Devs have made it pretty clear they want at least ONE layer of identity and connection between player and character. That's extremely unlikely to change

Not even the AoE necrotic degen in one of the older arena maps? I seem to remember that ignoring ward (and while the blood pools in the Dragon Emperor fight do ignore ward, they can't kill you as they do % of current HP).
All map hazards drain a % of your current health, they can't kill you and low health builds should be functionally immune.

how do i know how many shards i have
there are very few things that can kill you through ward, and they are all flat hp abilities that you cast (not current hp). so odds are its just the ward regen from after you die, since LL builds regen the first few hundred ward very fast.
should have a button to click on in inventory sheet to scroll through pnes you have. or open ghe forge then top left to browse for that item

i might be in too much pain to have good answers, haha. max tier of each affix is 5. you wont blaze through shards very fast, and will end up with several hundred of the common ones
i would suggest just experimenting early with the system, most items you get dont really need to be saved, and fiddling will be the quickest way yo learn it

leveling you should mainly just upgrade anything you would already wear, then by end game you'll look for specific bases to work with

the shatters are good for items that look almost good, or have an affix you like but dont have many of
campaign is fairly minor compared to the endgame system
the higher the tier of the affix when you shatter the more shards you will get in return as well
i'm used to poe endgame i'm familiar with that kinda progression
dont stress much about items, you wont overlook anything game changing
all i know is that i got unique gloves that summon bees in the early levels
yeah, removals give better results fo, but random which it breaks. really only matters if you are really strapped for a specific affix

There is a weighting for loot. You will find a lot more primalist gear on primalist. Not impossible to find sentinel body armor and helmet on primalist. But it's harder

So all void dmg is converted to fire. A portion of phys is converted to void. But that portion is not converted to fire

but corruption doesnt increase the base HP of the monsters instead its just a percentage based modifier from their base HP or not? so if they have 1000 health an corruption modifier of 10% increase from their base HP would still be "Just" an increase of 100. what i meant tho is when monsters start to have 5mil or even 10mil HP or even more having a 87% overall DR would make a massive powercreep on the players necessary and this especially includes bosses which become pretty harsh pretty fast that way without abusing any form of exploit or something

On my VK I gave up VR damage for Vengeance's defensive buffs
If you double your damage, your damage against monsters doubles, so no it's not a waste to increase your damage at all, this just gives monsters higher ehp without actually having to give them that hp as a number, poe does very similar things
the damage reduction is percentage based which means even if you double your current damage it will still only be ~13% that comes out so 87% of the damage you doubled is wasted
They do this because they're most likely using 32 bit signed integers, so the most hp anything can have is like 2.1 billion, which isn't that insane in these games, so instead of reacting to the issue when they get to it like poe had to do, they're making a proactive choice of giving enemies dr right away.

but exactly here i see the problem? why do you take the damage that you actually deal on the tooltip into account but not the actual damage you do on the mob? if we stay on that same example with 13% of 100 000 = 13 000 you only deal 13 000 after 87% DR so even if you double that amount to 26 000 the original DR still applies to the damage you did before the increases so the increase in overall damage is actually 13% of 26 000 which is then added to the damage you did before which means the 13% is actually an increase of 3380 bringing your damage up from 13 000 to 16 380 instead of 26 000 idk maybe i dont seem to understand here

Number of enemies etc. are the same. Enemy health does not keep pace with number of players, though, in addition to players being able to synergize.

something feels off with hammer throw. i have had a few times where the charactor plays its animation but hammer throw doesnt play. iv also noticed at times when this happens it does no dmg. had the same issue with a couple of bosses in the story. not yet at end game with this build. anyone else have this issue with hammer throw

Reflect does damage after mitigation to my knowledge, you can have over 100% reflected. It does not get further mitigated by enemy defenses, but it's still quite mid.

This build absolutely smashes everything in sight! If you want to get some of the highest crit numbers in the entire game, you have to try it out! It is phenomenal against bosses and a bit clunky in monos but awesome overall. Tankiness is solid thanks to ward generation and Beastmaster damage reduction.

What's the best way to speedrun the campaign on any build during a fresh start? I know that every build has different power at different points but I was mainly wondering if there are some points where I can cut some leveling time. Do you guys have any universal tips/tricks?
You might need to re-run the previous quest steps - using the zone transition points not fast travelling via the map - though in case that doesn't work, there are 23 Quests that give Passive point rewards so even missing that one means you can still earn the max of 15!

could have filtered out the base type of the unique on accident...try holding x/alt x to cycle your filter. can also try z/alt z for tooltips, but that doesnt sound like the issue specifically.
I've read about and tried to alt+z and I usually hit x to check for properties on the items that my filter hides just incase of usefull properties, but that doesn;t seem to be the case

I have the keybinds on Alt+C and X respectively and unfortunately no I haven't taken a screenshot. All I can tell you is that it's in chapter 5 - Imperial Era -> somewhere in the dunes area, probably the Wraith Dunes or something, before the fight with the scorpion boss

To go with the loot filter toggleing discussion above... my X isn't behaving as a toggle... I have to hold X for the filter to be disabled, and when I release X it goes back to applying the filter. Is there a way to change this behavior so that pressing and releasing it disables my loot filter, then pressing a nd releasing it again re-enables my loot filter?
this happens to me everytime that i add or re-label a header category. i feel like devs have a decent idea of it, but more reports in-game or just in bug forum never hurts.
relogging cleans it up. i just finish all the renaming that causes it, then worry about sorting tabs after i logout and back in.

i don't know if this is what you are experiencing, but for me unity half-starts then crashes. i normally have to close all other tasks and restart steam to have a chance fornit to work

Maybe y'all have seen info on this: Are they doing anything about comparing each ring slot to an item? Aaron from ARPG had said at one time it was active, but then disabled early on (I guess due to bug). Hopefully they have a fix for that soon, but it's been like a year w/ not being able to so far, so who knows.

Affixes on that ring are always the same, you can craft the ring without good rolls but it won't be the best obviously since your doom application might be inconsistent.

How it works is that you put the unique in with an exalted item, and it'll take as many affixes as the unique has lp from the exalted item and put them on the unique

why isnt poison res worth it?
poison dmg is only taken as dots...either as poison aoe's on the ground, or the actual ailment. there is no hit poison dmg. and the aoe's on the ground are pretty easy to just, not be in. so if there was one res you didnt need to max, it would be that one.
Yup. Plus any boss that deals poison DoT without applying the ailment is straight up a "don't get hit" situation because their base damage is so fucking high for that you will not survive it

Critical Strike chance applies to all attack types, Melee critical chance applies to Melee only though can provide more of a boost, so is useful if you're a melee only build
so throwing skill won't e.g. shadow dagger won't be affected by the "melee crit strike chance" right?
nope thats throwing crit chance which can be seen on the build planner but not the char screen in game

If you equip an item with Weavers Will points, as you kill mobs it will level up and gain upgrades. This means a new affix has been added, if you check the tooltip you should be able to see it in red at the top!

So I can't compare it to other ARPGs, though the endgame in LE comprises of the Monoliths and Empowered Monoliths in the End of Time, Dungeons and the Arena!
The campaign isn't complete yet, there are 3 more chapters to be added in future updates and Cycles will be added in 1.0!

Hello, I've never played the game, it's to know how the season system works, everything is reset like on Diablo 3 at the end of each season? And when the game is officially released, everything is reset for players who have played it before?
Seasonal system will be similar to Diablo 3, not exactly the same though.
No people who play now will not lose their progress at 1.0, all your stuff will just be sent to the standard (non-seasonal) realm

The only way to bypass a cd is to proc the skill, but since you're just proccing smite and the smites are casting fissure normally it's the same as you just casting smite really fast

You can not upgrade the experimental affixes
But you can seal them with 100% chance of success a
And keep on crafting
And before they are sealed, a critical success can land on them and up their tier (still max 5 like normal). Not reliable at all, but possible.

Play as a sentinel and target idol echoes. You can get the adorned idol blessing from the first monolith as well to help (empowered monolith blessing is better)

Once you reach the Monoliths of Fate, you can fight bosses in differents timelines. They reward you with Blessings (buff/extra stats). One of thoses is Increased chance to get Adorned Idols (the type you want for Smite on throwing hits)

Yep, and for targeting idol echoes, you'll notice some of the echoes have a little idol icon with an idol-ish teal color. Those drop a pile of idols on completion.

You wanna start hitting your resistances to get them capped out. Depending on the build you'll want to hit 1.5k-2k Health before hitting Empowered and try to keep raising that as you progress as important defensive layers like Endurance are tied to your health
Outside of those two you'll want to aim for things like upping your primary defenses be it armor, dodge, or whatever else. Things like Damage Reduction can go very far so keep an eye out for where you can slot that in
You want to start looking for a way to mitigate crit, either crit avoidance or less bonus dmg
And start getting endurance too, cap at 60
are there any sorts of "common" things to put on gear for specific slots or do you just grab affixes where you can
i know there are like... restrictions on what affixes you can put on certain things, but idk how deep it goes
Finding things like Hybrid Health is always really nice. T6/7 Health% is really nice on chest and helmets. Certain ring/amulet/gloves/boot bases can help round out your resistances as well as your idols. Crit avoid/reduced may not seem like an important thing rn but it saves you a lot dowj the line

There are 15 global drop unique helmet in the pool. Every time the game generate an unique helmet you have 1/15 to get Scurry. But then since it has 70%reroll chance, the game will reroll the helmet and you have 70% chance to not get scurry but something else

So I recently bought the game and lvld with the maxroll void knight guide (orb + smite with buffs), beat Lagon yesterday (barely xd) to complete the 3rd monolith. I was wondering if there is a good and "easy" evolution of this build. I want to use it for farming for items materials etc. because at this point I realize I don't enjoy the gameplay a lot and bossing with it is particularly hard, not even sure Id be able to beath 4th monolith boss or get to empowered generally unless I change something or get better items. I have a problem:
I want to reassign the keys, mainly ability 1 to right click and ability 5 to Q (it needs to be in order because of Immutable Order passive). I can change ability 5 to Q, but when I try to change ability 1 to right click, it says i can't do that because it's already assigned to something else...but i've deleted right click from ability 5. Any tips on how to fix it?
You can't rebind right click
also im confused why are you including right click, immutable order takes first 3 skills on your skill bar, right click skill will never be there, just put the right abilities in first 3 slots

I'd say melee attack speed, increased DoT/phys, chance to bleed. Last suffix is kinda whatever seems to work.

Good afternoon. Help me please. I don’t see enemies, I’m playing as a necromancer, the skeletons themselves kill someone. I created a new hero, everything is displayed there, I go back to my 51 and they are not displayed there again.
This is the third time i repeat this quest right before finishing i am transferred to another place and i cant move, restarted the game and lost my armor, have anyone faced this bug, any ide how to fix that?

Responding with sarcasm or clever wit is appropriate sometimes. When you get trolls, that is. Or just guilt trip them, with the intent to make them feel like an ass for trolling.
