You can go right to monos once you hit end of time but you will need to go back anyways for idol slots and passive points

campaign is important because at the end you get a free +1 to all stats, and doing the campaign is how you unlock idol slots and that
campaign goes quick too so not bad redoing it (coming from someone who has leveled 20 characters)
Load times still long? Last time I played (lightning tornado bug) I spent half my endgame waiting to load
cant speak for multiplayer but my load times are a couple seconds at most

while leveling you get 1 passive per level + the (18?) you earn from the story (open your map and it will tell you)
i always farm til i can fight the boss, fight the boss, then reset the web with the shade of orobys fight
rinse and repeat to build corruption while still farming for what i need
if things get too hard or you arent clearing echoes fast, there is a reset to reduce corruption
After killing boss web will reset automatically?
no no you need to find one of the like "echoes of the world" or something at the edges of the web

also for this reason, you should be relatively going in a straight line AWAY from the starting point

every time you kill the boss of an echo you get 1 gaze of orobyss
when you do that reset echo it gives you more corruption per gaze
(but if you die in that fight you lose all gaze)
higher drop rates, and some items can only be dropped at certain corruptions

Yeah, no reason to un-minimize them and run them really, unless you want to run down dangerous modifiers without running actual echoes
There's also some rare cases where you might need to do one or two to complete the quest for opening both paths (if you skip the quest echo that has the choice in it, it auto-picks the lower level path) - if you blast the regular monos in the standard way, the only quest echo you have to do in empowered is the first for BFD.
Guys, i turned enemies health bars on, but it doesn't work. I tried various options, but nothing helped. And a month ago it worked. And now it works for my friend, but not for me.

New player here. Can any unique item drop for any character, or are they weighted to be more likely for their intended character? Also, for unique items that aren't specialized for a certain class or character, like rings, are the drops weighted the same?
i think it rolls the base first then rarity, so if its class specific base for other classes its more rare otherwise no weights

There's only 5 uniques in the game that cannot have LP; Gambler's Fallacy, Avarice, Orichirian Petals (or whatever the fuck it's called), The Cuckoo, and Merophage.

artor's Legacy with +wolf skill legendary mod and dual Apogee of frozen light is my plan, since i can get lvl 29 or 30 wolves with that
It'll end up literally worse than squirrels in the long run but that's cuz squirrels are busted as fuck

hey guys, if i have +lightning spell damage but cast a cold spell, does that +lightning spell dmg not do anything unless converted?
The spell will still carry the lightning damage, it just won't get boosted by any cold damage modifiers

so whats the point of the spell being a cold spell at that point? is that only important for the base spell damage and any general spell damage you have laying around?
It matters because it changes the tags of the skill. And will interact with any mechanics that are damage type specific. And yes any adaptive damage will adapt to the new damage type of the skill
It's a lot harder to have a solid build that splits damage types, most of the time on most builds

Yeah, none of the spells consume mana to cast. Not sure about the totem procs in tempest strike, but I don't think those use your mana, either. The technical answer is, because it would cost 20 mana if you were able to put it on your bar and cast it or if procced by something that uses the cost.
Is there a way to make firebrand deal BOTH fire and lightning damage?
Not conversion-wise like flame reave, but you can give it +lightning damage and that will technically work; or if you convert it to lightning, you can give it +fire damage.

Abyssal echoes deals a ton of damage but it needs to be paired with something else to proc the echoes

3.tri-damage type, making it very bad to scale affix wise
can't scale attack speed is the worst offender imo
Unlike Shadow cascade, where it converts attack speed into damage at least, Tempest strike gets NOTHING from attack speed.
The skill getting completely reworked and nothing that it has now stays, its is already confirmed and devs even made a post abt it

Can I have a build where I just spam devouring orbs and get a crap ton of emission triggers and orb collisions with orbiting orbs?
you basically just described devouring orb autobomber. it used to be a super meta build but it got nerfed multiple times in a row to the point where it's just ok now
it still clears well but it's pretty hard to get any sort of single target damage while doing that setup

the reason the echoes + devouring orb build works is because you're just using devouring orb to clear and proc echoes

which means it doesn't bounce between enemies anymore but makes it deal craploads of damage

which the vorpal explosion node disables
because abyssal decay is consumed when anything else hits the enemy
so the idea is, you're using devouring orbs to constantly hit the enemy
so every time they get abyssal decay applied it's instantly consumed
which is why this setup does good damage

slowly, you'd be better off looking at footage for that though cause it's been like 2 years since I played the orbiting version

my understanding is that the cooldown/duration balance is really rough on the orbiting version now as well, so that will limit how many you have up
cause you have 50% less duration from the orbiting node and 40% more on the way to emission. so that's 70% of base duration, but you can't then take any of the cooldown reduction nodes in the devouring orb tree without copping another 40% less, so that's 42% of base duration. and if you wanted both sets of cooldown nodes you'd take ANOTHER 40% less so that's just not viable
whereas you used to get a much lower duration penalty and more CDR from the tree. nerfs in action

@static raven For what it's worth, selling items is almost completely unnecessary. Even if it was very easy to do, I would recommend not bothering with it. I started enjoying the game a lot more personally when I stopped vendoring stuff, only thing I talk to the vendor for is to sell arena keys (and that is rare, too).
is there a good youtuber for high corruption build guides, whatever the class? I know Curse has videos with like 600-700 corruption but most other guide videos are 150-170 max so not that very "endgame" builds.

600-700 is pretty high for most players, so anything higher will be harder to find
The reason you won’t find this is because of the time investment to get to corruption this high. Content creators would rather create more builds than spend an extra 100 hours to prove the build can do harder content
Yeah I honestly think that most builds are capable of getting pretty far (at least 500) with a decent amount of gearing, it's just that people don't have specific gear laying around to showcase that like awful said.
If a build can't get past like 200 corruption basically no matter what then something is almost fundementally wrong with it.

i dont play on a steam deck specifically, but i do play on linux, and it works perfectly fine. someone a couple days ago said they had 400ish hours on the steam deck, so im gonna use that as a baring that the hardware is capable of running it. so running it through proton on the steam deck, should be playable all things considered.

Hi. I am relatively new to the arpg scene, having played through the poe campaign and 2 Grim dawn characters. I've been looking for a new ARPG, as those ones didn't quite feel right for me (PoE too complex and GD kind of tedious). I have heard of bugs and skill/class balance issues being potential factors against LE, and was wondering how people felt about this:)
Also is it crazy complex like Poe?
Most bugs aren't gamebreaking, but the skill and class balance is quite bad right now. There's still plenty of build variety but there are a few skills where trying to make them your main skill is a fool's errand. It's also bad in the sense that the top end builds are pushing magnitudes further into endgame stuff (though this isn't really needed since it's technically infinite) than others.
The complexity isn't anywhere near PoE levels. I'd even go so far as saying Grim Dawn is more complex than LE. LE is far more casually approachable in its structure than either of them, but still maintains more depth than Diablo as a whole. LE is great if you're not trying to completely main an ARPG and only an ARPG for extreme amounts of time, imo (this is coming from someone with several thousand hours of PoE, hundreds in D2/3/4, a couple hundred in GD, and still put in over 1100 in LE and am just waiting for updates or inspiration now).
ill probably wait then. It seems like an awesome ARPG, one that's way more approachable than PoE or GD's components and augs for ultimate SR. Ive been looking for a fun endgame for a while, but I think Ill hold to see if class/skill balance gets an update
There's some stuff being changed at release in Feb to address the gaps in power which theoretically speaking should bring the immense distance between a good build and a great build in how far they push.
Past that it's really just a lot of number tweaking and praying EHG addresses the vast differences in defensive options between classes.
Other than that though, is the game still fun/snappy to play? I loved the movement in PoE and GD, and sofar havent seen that in L.E.
LE is not going to reach the speeds of PoE or GD by design. I'd be surprised if it ever hits the zoom-zoom mach 9 speed clear meta that PoE has been in for years now.
The game does feel good in my opinion, things click reasonably well, there's a lot to explore and test, and it's rather intuitive for an ARPG. But it's also a lot more mechanical and player skill oriented in its fight design, enemies aren't there to just be mowed down by the hundreds per second. Large enemies are supposed to be a danger and they pull that off well especially as you push further and further into the endgame.
You can still move relatively fast when setup for it, but it will likely never be a situation of running every single map in under a minute.
I'd say LE is closer to GD speed, but GD does have some very, very fast moving things in it as far as I can remember. I'm not a perfect judge as I haven't played it in a good while (I believe @sinful laurel is a big GD fan so they can probably compare that better than me). There's a good wealth of videos on LE so far that can definitely give a reasonable view on the overall speed of the game though.
Ill defs look into it more. LE looks promising sofar, as I want a more chill ARPG tbh. Dont have the time I used to
LE is pretty good at respecting your time as long as you are reasonable with expectations. Some people have gotten a little antsy with expectations here and as such pooled their time into only searching for perfect gear (which is very hard to do because of how many variables there are), this is a bad mentality imo. It should theoretically get easier when trading is released, but that's another discussion (and is by no means going to be the best for everyone).
I've been playing the game since 2020 and can personally attest that there hasn't really been a time where I've felt like anything was actually unattainable despite my memeing about desire sensor hating me (I am on the extreme end of bad luck for several things, it's pretty amazing), and I know people who have less time than me with more "done".
I dont need the very best gear. Just stuff that works
well enough to do endgame to get better gear, etc etc
Like, in GD I farmed for a armor set. Didnt care about min maxing roles. Just got the set and ran it

I have far from best gear on most characters I play and I can handle most of the content as long as I play smart on the majority of my fleshed out builds. I play for "good enough" rather than perfect. 
And whenever I do get something that's really good my dopamine surges and my neurons activate, that's when the cooking starts.

Anytime. Always willing to talk. I can safely say that there's only three "bad" masteries in the game and it's mainly because one has terrible defenses and the other two just have bad build variety. Out of the... 13(?) available right now, that's not terrible imo. The balance is mostly an issue when you look at like, the top performing couple builds and compare it to the rest (or look at the few skills that are just genuinely bad Acid Flask you will be viable one day I swear it)
Shaman has bad variety, Forgeguard has bad variety, and Marksman has bad defenses (but capability for absolutely outrageous damage). Druid is actually one of the best things in the game right now, it has probably the single highest hit damage build so far?
ill say this as a long time ARPG player...Last Epoch (even with the current bugs and being early access still) is by far the best ARPG out there

it has a nice middle ground to being easy to learn, but intricate enough for the end game, with tons of customization

ive played diablo 1/2/3/4, PoE, GD, Torchlight, and many other ARPGs
LE has a very easy start that allows you to play the way you want to right from the get go
respeccing is very cheap and easy so you don't have to worry about "messing up" later on
if you are a min/maxer there is a LOT you can delve into to further enhance your play
it isnt anywhere as intimidating as PoE for your average player, so more people will likely give the game a go
combat just flat feels good, especially compared to a lot of the ARPGs over the last couple years
the crafting system is very user friendly so it is easy to learn and not get overwhelmed with random stats (like PoE and GD can do)

Raising corruption and aiming for gold nodes will do a good deal alongside getting the gold blessing from.the first timeline

the crash happens when I make the character and start the game, it loads for a while then crashes.

You should have a scout around LETools and Tunklabs! Both of those have some useful tools for in game stuff, like LETools has a build planner that you can upload your existing characters to!

That's fucking wild, half the time the issue is imcomplete downloads, you might want to submit a report, does offline work for you?

If a VPN works for you then it might be your Internet Service Provider having an issue with out Servers, you can try reaching out to them to see if they can help.

Correct. Online and offline are completely separate and there are no plans to change that due to possible exploitation.

I remember when it was Orange ISP in Poland, Orange had seen a lot of bots using the same server addresses and just blanket banned them, and a few innocent parties got caught in that web. It was eventually resolved by the ISP though iirc. A similar thing happened to Blizzard too.
There are some things players can do - VPN for one, changing DNS settings is another or forcing IPv4 has fixed it for others.

Network Engineer (though not for LE) here - this is almost always the answer. Last Epoch is using a tiny bit of the public IP space, and are getting caught in "ranges" that are around them - Blizzard used to have these problems (back in the Starcraft 1 and Warcraft 2 days) and solved it by buying a congruous IP block so that they no longer got caught "next to" a bad actor.
General confusion here: does the Forge Guard skill Shield Throw require you to have a shield equipped?
it seemed to work fine without one for me back when I was messing with forge guard - now that I think about I dont know if any skills/spells require specific weapons?
There are a bunch that do - Void Cleave requires a 2h Sword or Axe, Dancing Strikes and Shadow Cascade require dual-wielding, Bow Skills. . .
just tested real quick on my forge guard been while, got a 2h weapon equip and was able to do a shield throw

Bash requires a Shield to be equipped, so the Rebounding node there probably needs a shield to be equipped

While I might not know all the details off the top of my head, I am finally getting the hang of the patterns so can figure out where to look faster

Put the affixes you DO want on first to see if you run out of fp before you can worry about the ones you don’t want

Yeah you could accidentally remove the one you want
Doing it that way (removal) you can easily end up with an overall understated item with no fp
So I set up my filter with the 4 affixes i want on an item, and then said okay gimme min 2

Upgrade the ones I want or add stuff
Then try and chaos
Assuming I have enough shards to put the ones I want
so would be a better approach to configure lootfilter to 3 affixes you want and instead reroll the unwanted affix with chaos althrough i think this would be pretty harsh getting 3 affixes you want on a item to drop
Also make sure u have a rule to find affixes to shatter

I have a question about echo rewards. Is it true that the last ruin monolith has increased chances to drop relics? Or is it just unique echo rewards have a higher chance to be relics?

Each monolith has specific item type unique/set rewards. So last ruin like you said has relics, the area itself doesn't have increased relic drop rates but can spawn those echo rewards.
Other monolith's cannot have the "unique/set relic" echo reward.
If they nerf eq I'll riot because it's by far one of the better designed slam skills we have access too

Have a question about mages. How many of their tooltips are broken? I use Flame Reave with the lightning passive and when ever I get lightning modifiers, I do not see any changes in the DPS... Am I overlooking something?

I cannot blame them though, characters of this game kinda lack of soul so people wants to add them their touch
