It's just pure RNG, they aren't weighted to my knowledge so it's just getting lucky

Yes? I'm not really sure what you're asking though. The item can be equipped on mages and it uh... does what it says on the tin really.
the opportunity cost is essentially zero, so you could just as well craft. Ofc you won't have many shards literally at the start of your first playthrough on your first character, but they accumulate real fast
bosses are affected by echo node modifiers when applicable, so you could just have stacked too many. Be especially careful with the enrages below half health modifier as it increases their cast speed on all skills/mechanics
you should never get hit with breath, eye beam or eye meteor, they are all hugely telegraphed slow attacks. You can mostly dodge claw attacks too although that will drastically reduce your uptime
there are 3 groups of "slots" in which only some blessings are rolling against each other, you can see this info say on LE tools. So no, not all blessings have an equal chance to appear
independent damage and duration for every stack of aura. Same applies to ailments
also, all stats of skills snapshot on cast/trigger

Hi, I just bought last epoch and I have a problem. I'm playing rogue and when I'm using a bow, I cannot attack monsters while I was moving opposite direction. Is that an issue or should it be like this?
@south latch if that is the case then it's probably what @faint cape mentioned. Does your keep draining or stop at 800? I highly suggest trouble shooting this without any items first then after that we can pin point the cause

What exactly so you mean by attacking and moving opposite direction are you like trying to move while you maintain the attack or simply attack and move backwards between attacks?
Yep, when I'm moving the opposite direction to monsters my projectiles goes my move direction not to monsters. Simply it's not target locking.
Uhm what ability are you using and what hotkey do you have it on? Have you changed any of the hotkeys of movement as well ?

Oh I see the issue, with controller it seems it will cast those abilities where the character is facing, so if you move backwards and cast it will be in that direction, now I don't play with controller but I have in many games such as this and that's a common thing to make aiming easier
most skills across all classes are not usable while moving so this kind of kiting is not a thing
Now I don't know if you use the right stick to aim when using the left stick backwards will help. So move your character make the back of the character face the enemy then hold right stick towards the enemy position and try to cast then see if that helps
you can stutter step in the other direction though

So kiting in other words. Anyways try what I suggested Moshi I'll get on the game and connect my controller and try couple of things too see if I can figure out a solution
But I'm pretty sure your abilities are being cast where your character direction is facing, ultimately try walking back then do a small step forward to turn the character then cast if the right stick doesn't work as suggested above

Okay just confirmed it does attack where character is facing and ultimately only locks targets for those where the character is facing,I'll try that first link and see if that solves the issue, having a target locked and moving unlocks the target as it's a soft lock it seems and not a permanent one
Okay that does do the fix but as I mentioned earlier you will have to be moving the right stick towards the direction of the target with this fix as there is no auto lock system where you can choose and swap between targets. But it's better than nothing for now if you are interested in using the controller.
if a skill has a cull effect and also apply some sort of damaging ailment does this ailment also apply the cull?
so lets say the skill has a cull at 20% and the hit brings the target to 22% health the now ticking ailment applied by this skill brings the target below 20%. Will the target be culled?
No
No the intial cull has to be the cause and not dot caused by the cull, that would be some advanced programming to realize cull is still active, so I believe what they did is a conditional trigger on the cull itself when conditions are met on the initial damage
Unless the skill itself is it's own DoT.
(Spirit Plague is an example that might be able to cull)

For example in league of legends you have a similar item called collector, that collector itself has an execute below 5% so as long as you own it any DMG you do triggers that passive, which is not in this case because its ability related and not passive related to character if that makes sense

@tall wolf It wouldn't be called too little, 10% is 1/10 so in reality he should trigger it at lest once every 10 hits, the odds does increase every hit he gets
So the more he gets hit the bigger chance it will become that it will trigger it, realistically speaking.

Because what this means is that if a skill costs 1 mana, it increases the damage of that skill by 50% of the mana cost, so 0.5 extra dmg, that formula needs to be explained properly, theres tons of things like that around too

The middle rock thing is the specific echo rewards. The chest is random loot from killing mobs.
No, everything is supposed to be recharged at max charges when you change zones.
They scale differently, but also the "reward rock" aka the echo reward was added in the most recent monolith rework
The separation is nice though, really lets you know exactly what comes from the echo reward you picked and what is just random loot (though honestly, I wouldn't care much if the chest just got deleted)

There is a maximum @topaz panther depending on the level of the item, minimum however I've seen as low as low on higher level items
But higher tier affixes wont drop, at least havent seen on low level items.
So if you drop a lvl 15 bow for example I'd say i havent seen an affix on that that is like Tier 5 atk speed for example on a low level map.

From what I've seen i think each 10 levels is a tier difference on max drop, so level 30 items can drop up to tier 4
level 20 items up to tier 3, and so on

You're able to get them but no functioning builds truly need them to hit all content
Devotion is powerful on its own, being able to ensure a 1LP with farming and then consistently gamble it with exalts is genuinely a boost ib power
A 1LP Siphon of Anguish with a good slam is far more powerful than a 0LP and ensuring a steady income of 1LP ups your chances of a good slam by a lot

In the filter advanced options for affixes, is total tiers referring to the combined tiers of all mods or only the mods in the filter rule (so if the rule shows health with total tiers at 4, would it only show items with tier 4 health, or any item with health as long as it also has 3 other mods)

so 10%*12 = 120% which would give you teh answer, in this case, 12 seconds, which is -2 seconds, which is in this case 0 sec cd.

That's +1 per point on bone armor duration
And 30% on recovery speed, so 120% recovery speed, so it has recovers 120% faster, and the bone armor duration goes to +4.

Both of what exactly? What passives are you referring to, you can get both of CDR and CDRS
I think what it does is first initiate the cooldown rate, then cooldown recoery speed
so say you have -3 seconds on cdr on your skill
your skill will be 7 seconds first
then it will calculate the 120% after that
in that order, from 7 seconds.
Well in that sense, it would be almost impossible, because, the lower the number becomes of the initial cooldown, the lower effect of the recovery speed % becomes
so, 100% cdrs of 10 seconds would reduce 5 seconds, now if you have -5 sec cd, so it would be 5 seconds initial, then 100% of that would be just -2.5 seconds.
If that makes sense.
So the lower the ability is, the less efficient the cdrs is
got it, so basically at a 1/3 of the original CD thats basicalloy good enough probably.

Globally, you can get ICDRS on everything from regular affixes like on your boots/belt, so on any skill that has access to CDR, you can get both. Most skills you can't get CDR for, though.
100% CDR gets you to 0 cooldown. If you somehow got infinite ICDRS, that would also get you 0 cooldown (but this is obviously not possible).
A 10s cooldown with 120% ICDRS gets you a 4.55s cooldown. The formula is basically the same as mana efficiency, new_cooldown = old_cooldown / (1 + total_ICDRS).

No, I mean line T6 of a good stat (like level of skills or something I use often) or T7 of something decent (like, not minion dodge rating). Double exalted items are very rare, and even rarer to find one that isn't garbage, so that's a very tiny amount of my items.

God I wish they make the scaling more brutal, more meaningful, and cap it, but have specific reward types / increased likelihoods at various corruption "tiers"
So that sure you can either get oneshot repeatedly at the cap of say 1k and farm LP uniques more reliably, or you can farm at 800 for more runes of ascendance

Hi everyone. New here. Just joined because I want to know if the issue is local, or specific users/servers are affected.
The short of it is: LE boots, I get as far as the "Select Traveler" screen, but no matter how many times you click the "Enter Game" button at the bottom of the screen, nothing happens. I've tried every character, in case one was bugged, same issue. More-so: if I try to create a new character, the game just endless loads and eventually hangs. Is anyone else experiencing this?
All my characters are offline.
I've even reinstalled the game, just to be sure there wasn't anything wrong with the files.
I also checked the integrity of the files via Steam. Nada.
Should I be reporting this somewhere else?
