Dungeons can be run a lot in endgame because you'll have a lot of keys. Timeline bosses can be run pretty much constantly. Generic monolith content gets very dangerous if you stack corruption.

fyi, if you're getting the [LE-51] error, this worked for me and I was able to get online:

Go to appdata (Windows key + R, then write %appdata%) go to the appdata folder (back) and then LocalLow. Eleventh Hour Games, Last Epoch, then Saves.

To disable steam cloud, you have to go to the Last Epoch properties in the steam library and disable it. I just deleted the folder when I launched the game, which is basically the same.

things like +X to level of a skill your using is good bet most of the time

The only thing you cannot change is you class and sub-class (mastery). You can change which skills are specialised, the way they are specialised and the class passives you take.

Sorta in the middle of them in terms of complexity.

Currently there are 5 classes, 12 masteries (3 more not in game yet). There are 9 out of 12 story chapters currently in the game. There are 3 dungeons all with unique mechanics and rewards, each dungeon has 4 tiers to it that scale in level and end rewards. The core gameplay loop is like a mix between rifts and maps and has effectively infinite difficulty scaling.
There's a lot of build variety but it does not require you to go and read guides to figure out the absolute basics, you can absolutely hop in and learn what you're doing by reading and paying some attention to it. There's an in-game guide that will give you almost any information you need. Also loot filters are customizable and built into the game itself.

Oh, I forgot there's endless wave survival as well (which will have leaderboards in next update)
