and the fact that subskills sometimes inherit more multipliers should be more transparent
Yeah, that's what I mean
like, the alt tooltip for any subskill should tell me whether it inherits multipliers 100% of the time
Spark Charges and Shadow Daggers are extra weird because of the "ailment that casts a skill" thing
and then thereās weird bugged (or maybe not bugged) cases where subskills inherit some multipliers from skill trees but not all
Like, maybe when you press ALT on a node that has a subskill, it highlights all the nodes that will affect it.
and the fact that subskills donāt inherit conditional multipliers
YEAh
this needs to happen
It's pretty obnoxious
donāt they like inherit player conditional multipliers but not enemy conditional ones generally speaking?
like the whole system is SO obtuse and poorly explained and has so many nonsensical exceptions
and then yeah thereās the fact that even if you understand the rules thereās a not insignificant chance that thereās just a bug
Lack of confidence in there not being bugs is probably the biggest danger to EHG as a company right now. Their releases are so buggy that people might lose faith in the game.
Brand new content, skills, and items having significant bugs is a real problem.
Would it be stronger to get the Lightning multi instead of spell crit? I am looking to do my Unstable Core LP2
i know this would be a pretty unpopular opinion but i would be completely satisfied if there was very little actual content in season 4 if it meant the game was in a better state in terms of bugs and balance
Probably. If you've got high enough Int, spell crit is gonna be redundant and you're better off with more multi
especially if that balance extended not just to builds but also things like echoes
it also depends on if youāre using twisted heart or shattered worlds, shattered worlds kinda makes crit capping trivial tbh
opportunity cost. Spell crit allows you to use either Twisted Heart or Blood Mage gloves as flat and have no other crit anywhere on the build
you swapped back to twisty?
i see
just got this for now, I'll find a better one
2lp vise would probably be good too with SW right?
yea
very tanky
Also played a bit with phantom mire
swiftness is nice
has some cast speed, easy to get lp
evade feels much nicer to use now that i find it harder to be willing to give up
technically phantom mire also has a one time more multiplier in bossfights lmfao
yeah
what an incredibly funny line of text
I want to use this as the base for my Unstable Core
yea excellent base
that is a godly crafting item holy
ideally you would want int as the seal
or lightning multi as the seal
but I wouldn't waste your FP trying to do that
Yeah that is why I was asking what is the best to slam onto this Unstable core lp2
Int and spell crit it is.
what are you using for ward gen? so much of the sorc ward gen is tied to mana spent
Well I was also thinking that spell crit is more generically good
If it was up to you Frozen what would you go for?
idk both have pros and cons, personally I think multi is better because I like the double crit setup
but spell crit has a lot more flexibility
you can swap into TH for tank
or weaver glove for dps
lol not much
some from passives and stuff
and ward decay from sorc
and mana guide gives some etc
have giga DR and stuff though
This is my twisted heart right now
Pretty much as good as you can get for 1lp
sorc ward gen is so lackluster compared to RM or even spellblade
yea I was playing with RM and even the ward per different rune with 200 int was like
1200
IMO put Lost Knowledge beyond the chain and make it max mana instead of current mana, but leave it at 30%
glacier is like the only sorc build thatās consistently getting great ward from lost knowledge currently it seems
every other high mana cost sorc is actually dumping mana
mana tank seems like a potential option but rn the opportunity cost of going mana tank is so high
i think it would be cool if sorc had more access to it through passives, gives it a more unique defensive identity
You can do it with Static Orb too, you just have to cast Lightning Blast as well.
If you do SO -> LB -> LB -> LB -> SO -> Repeat, then you stay at max mana forever, pretty much.
grabbing those nodes is so point intensive though and it makes the build way clunkier
oh, I totally agree
That's why I think they should move Lost Knowledge beyond the chain and buff it
make it one of the iconic Sorcerer ways to build
yeah itās not like runemasters or spellblades are picking it up anymore anyways
yea I played with this, it's a pain
Yeah, easier to just dump all your mana and then use Focus to get it back
and itās really been a struggle for EHG to give sorcs and runemasters genuinely distinct identities since the release of RM
on any given patch itās pretty much been āone is the other, but worseā
Yeah
sorc does have the big mana stuff and while i think there are good payouts for it i also donāt think theyāre particularly interesting payouts for the most part
also, arcane ascendance could really use a facelift tbh
AA (without mana guide) is always going to suck as long as it locks you in place, just like channeling skills that aren't warpath
itās a good bossing skill and a situationally good mapping skill (for reasons that may be unintended) but itās also just a very boring skill
needing an opening to stand still is the reason why channeling skills suck, so I'd say my point still stands š
i think movement locking channeling skills can be fine, but AA is just so⦠nothing
Like, my channeled LB build was GREAT for everything up to Aberroth, but it's basically impossible to do Aberroth because you never get to stand still long enough to do damage.
Never mind trying to do uberroth
channel LB just sounds like worse version of mana guide lb
āi root myself to do more damageā thatās it. thatās the entire skill. how riveting.
more like "i root myself to do less damage"
I like the concept of channeled LB, it's ~8 casts per second with zero investment into cast speed
true lmfao
But it just doesn't hold up to convergence + the multicast nodes
like, make it not root you and drain a lot more mana but make the payouts way cooler
I just let it drain me to zero mana. You aren't going for chains anyway, so Channel + Innate Conduit = infinite LB
instead of just giving you more damage, have the skill tree modify different skills in interesting ways
Then used teleport + RI to regain a bunch of mana to cast Glyph, then continue LB
āwhile in arcane ascendance, meteor has _ additional meteorsā
ice barrage fires in both directions
disintegrate becomes a circle around you
RI?
idk just have it do something thatās not just āincreased spell damageā
Runic Invocation
If you teleport (next spell refunds) and RI (refunds but has a CD), both refunds happen
even the passive buffs provided by skills like symbols of hope and holy aura are a hundred times more interesting than arcane ascendance
wild
Yeah, so the cycle was basically:
Channel LB until empty
Teleport
Cast RI
Cast Glyph and Flame Ward
Resume Channel until you have to move
And because you're channeling, you can use Telfun's Mirage boots for a ton of dodge, and Runic Fortress for a big burst of ward. And you can use the "Armor while channeling" blessing for a ton of extra armor
You end up with like 60%+ dodge, huge armor, big bursts of ward every time you channel for a couple seconds
donāt forget all res while channeling
It's probably my favorite build in the game, tbh. Partially because I'm a hipster and no one else does it š
If they 'fix' the Halo Effect node so that it's just on the first hit instead of every convergence hit, it'll probably be somewhat viable again.
channeled abilities that arenāt warpath really donāt have a great track record in this game huh
Nope
remember that one patch where gamblerās fallacy + ingvarās head was a thing and then ehg nuked it
and it wasnāt even overpowered it was like fine
Yeah
why do you think this is a bug
it says "on the first enemy hit"
according to the wording it works as intended
the first enemy hit is just hit multiple times
š§
canāt the spark charges also apply spark nova?
I dunno, it just feels like a bug, to me. You lose half the chains, and then can double the hits? It doesn't feel right.
that one is the one that feels unlikely to be intended to me
Sorc tree spark nova yes, LB tree no
Just because the second, third, etc. enemies hit all happen to be the same enemy doesn't mean it's supposed to work that way
but it says the first enemy hit, not the first hit
I feel like it used to not work with convergence, and it got bugged out at some point
bugfixed*
That's because it used to just not work at all š
Well, that also, but before that
okay but honestly though if it didn't work this way spark nova would be so terrible, it takes 8 nodes just to path there
I think however they fixed it made it work on multi-hits
Yeah, that sounds about right.
It was good for the channeled build, but that's pretty much it yeah
yeah no way am i buying that one is intended
The 4 chains, even with convergence?
I think all non-LB tree chains add their full amount even with convergence.
lmfao yeah
which other ones are there
Glyph of domi
i think the most likely scenario is those are all unintended
but i havenāt actually heard a dev comment on it weirdly
Yeah, almost definitely all unintended
Mike probably doesn't know what the intention was, he would only know that if he was on the team designing that skill/node/interaction
Yeah, they've always worked like that but who knows if it's intentional or if they've just been bugged forever.
IMO make it intentional because it's more interesting, LB needs more interesting interactions
+3 chains feels like almost enough to make a LB build want to use Glyph of Dominion tbh
yknow i know lb is probably too strong as is but i would love it if the shotgun node worked more similarly to multistrike
Glyph has some really weird stuff going on
you can get a lot of negative mana with it
how much is a lot? is it theoretically infinite?
tbh I don't know, it times out and I don't think you can recast it
wait
oh. maybe you can
oh... maybe
thereās some really abuse case-y stuff you can do with infinite negative mana
you can oneshot uber if you have enough negative
yeah nvm I thought I could make glyph of domi free
then use it with LB node
which lets you go negative
So you can get like 1k negative, maybe more
idk how to do more than that
theyāve tried really hard to patch out all of the super deep negative mana stuff because itās super easy to abuse and also supposedly very taxing on servers
so i wouldnāt be surprised if that one is gone
there probably is still something left you can do it with though
the primordial bow with detonating arrow can probably do it on rogue
wait how does glacier helm work while negative again
eye of storms + butcher's crown works
idunno
why do you need crown?
the no regen I guess
it must be slow
at least you can go afk lol
theres more stuff that casts mealstorm
i think all the other ones require you to be primalist
yeah even with no mana regen this would take hours to get enough negative for something like an uber oneshot
Damn might have to do an ice build!!!
Also how the hell you guys getting all your Rune Prison echos
I found quite a lot just running Echos specced into Mages
I've been wanting to play a Mage. I was recommended to level as a Spellblade, and it's been a blast.
I want to try out Lightning Blast Runemaster.
It doesn't really transition nicely, so when do you swap?
With Legends Entwined and Vilatria's Storm Crown, everything becomes much smoother
You can level as a RM if you like, or switch later when you have an Enigma
I believe Pinchingloaf has a guide if you need one
for leveling Lightning Blast, or what?
doesn't matter, even if it's gonna be fixed some day, that day is still probably 5-50 years away given the glacial pace of bug fixes in this game
I believe so but not 100% sure, only seen it in passing though.
might as well call it intended
I typically donāt use guides myself, I just level as my intended build as best as possible regardless
I think he levels with Fireball by the looks of it
In any case his guide will take you from Zero to Hero.
You could also use FrozenSentinels or MaxRolls endgame guide if you wanted something more geared towards SC.
Down almost 100 mana š„¹
Yeah I think you were playing HC, so follow the PinchingLoaf guide as he does LB in HC
I leveled with Glacier only because its something I've done before, not because I think it's the best
when I did my HC Frost Claw character I also leveled with glacier
No my question is when would you swap to it š
Was told u
That combo set gives you a lot of flat damage, and it's extremely cheap and easy to find
I think the set might be a little late if playing HC, I would say you want Twisted Heart for ward generation, perhaps ladle, and enigma. Maybe 60 or 70 int
The full zhp setup has a few defensive holes that I didn't bother to plug or prioritize
Yeah, and ferebor's ring
Ah yes. Ferebor is excellent
Oh fyi I also have the full zero to uber Playlist on my YT if you want to see what the transition looks like. Every moment from fresh character to uber
I'm not there yet, just entered Monoliths and was wondering when I'd be swapping, but I'll keep it in mind, thank you š
@hard cloak https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAwVg7AjAHCQ Legends Entwined with "Counts as a part of every equipped item set" all have very low required levels
Is true, you can use both set items directly early on. It might make gearing a bit fragile though. Of course if you can kill 300c bosses in 1 second it's a lot easier to not take any hits š¤·āāļø
You need the +4 LB on the helm though which means crafting a reforged asap
crafting a reforged
I'm unsure what this means š
Great Bridge woven echo -> shatter vilatria set helm -> get vilatria set affix shard -> get exalted base with T7 LB -> add vilatria affix -> use legends entwined -> you now have the vilatria set while using an exalted helm
Thank you š
Is there like a list where I can check which affix shards I can get by reforging which set pieces in the game?
Its always the set you want gives the shard for that set. The le tools wiki says which stats the shard gives
shatterstrike feels bad any ideas?
For cold skills with Frostbite nodesā¦how essential are those nodes for overall chance to apply Frostbite? I like FB Ice barrageā¦but thatās 9 skill points for the pierce followed by the FB that could be used elsewhere.

my idea was to reach 2500 health regen with 200 cold dmg
thats about 2.5k cold dmg
extra
unfortunately for shatter strike any value you get off regen stacking with lance set is just gonna get outpaced by bloody nib as a relic and a better weapon
you also need shattered chains (belt) and siphon of anguish (ring) any melee build not using these two items is giving up nearly half of their damage
oh i wont keepp these weapons'
same with throne of ambition (idol) again you lose about half your damage as a cold build by not using one
nothing comes close to diothaenās for damage in the relic slot, even shattered worlds is waaaaay worse for damage
forget shatterstrike try to try a bew build xD
Is there something I can use in place of mad ladle / foot of the mountain / heart of hukeiros / vilatia helm for lightning blast rune master? Just unlocked empowered monks at 77 but itās a nightmare, I am super squishy and do very little damage. I just canāt find those gear. Iām a little perplexed about being even able to get to normal Abby, uber seems totally out of question.
Make sure you have the ring + helmet vilatria combo.
With that and ladle alone (and as much Int as you can muster) you should clear monos super easily.
Fragment of the Enigma and the spark charge nodes in LB are also important.
Yeah the point is I have no vilatia helm and no ladle and thereās not much I can do apart from praying rnjesus
Iāve killed at least 100 mages but zero ladles
And playing like this is frustrating I have to care about everything even at 100 corruption. Gear requirements to make the build work seem to high to me.
My recommendation would be to get a good staff. The 100+ flat from a high level base should carry you until you can get a vilatria set and ladle and stuff.
A lot of times, the best defense is a strong offense, killing things before they can hit you os a great way to survive.
peak of the mountain is ok for early crit as long as you have enigma. foot is a dungeon boss drop. heart is a boss drop from reign of dragons
I did the reign of dragons boss 5 times, no drop. And Iām too squishy for the tree boss but last time I tried was 20 levels ago. Iām prolly having bad luck but thatās why I wanted to know if I could equip something else easier to find. I mean i am playing for hours with zero power gain apart from leveling up, Iām starting to get a bit tired šŖ
are you cof rank 10?
it's gonna be like a 5% drop chance in unempowered with no rank 10 bonus on twisted heart.
and if you take the warden's echo nodes in the weaver tree you can get lightless arbor drops without going to lightless arbor.
telfun's mirage or blood of the exile are also alternatives to foot of the mountain if you get one with a high intelligence roll
Thanks I will try those donāt think I am cof 10 yet.
farming boss drops before you hit rank 10 will often just end up being deflating. I wouldn't worry too much about finding the boss drops before then, focus on your other upgrades. make sure you're keeping an eye out for good exalts to slam into your uniques too.
Yeah Iām kinda stuck because normal monos feel pointless but even basic empowered are too hard atm.
Mad ladle is getting me mad, seems even rarer than red ring.
I like the playstyle but I didnāt think the build was so gear dependent.
You can farm the vilatria set before rank 10. Look for set staff prophecies and it will drop the whole set. The staff is a much more common drop than the helm and if you do the "no mono events" and "no non mono events" lenses you could stack up a ton of set staff/weapon prophecies.
You can do the same strategy for the Fragment of the Enigma, which is probably the most important unique in the build. Just get some Unique Catalyst prophecies and itll drop real quick.
Ladle is important but you shouldnt NEED it for empowered monos. Any decent wand/scepter (or Rune Dagger) should be able to carry you just fine.
And you can use the default set helm and the ring until you can craft a better set helm with +LB levels.
anyone got advice for my black hole/meteor my gear is obviously not optimized, im trying to get versions with better affix https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/HIBBIDY_JIBBIDY/character/OOPGA i do have a 1 lp https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAwRlDYE4g but i feel i will loose to much fire pen
oh, i refunded 2 black hole points, i was going to take the skill that gives ignite chance with extra fire prot and try that staff
alright bros, we killed Uber with Mana Guide LB Autobomber

t8 belt> vilatria for this one huh? interesting
for autobomber yes
gear looks quite farmable outside of maybe BA tbh
BA?
body armor
oh. yes
that one sucks ass
but if not that you just use blood gloves instead
with 1lp core
still cap crit
I also have cast speed slams
which do nothing
ill prob go this route when i go back to sorc
tried glacier and it seems kinda zdps tbh
ye i mean
focus just has so much dr
even if the ward gen is bad like iām not surprised
yea
could even use immortal vise but the swift gloves feels good
I think 8% ms belt is probably good option too
i have a really good t8 praetorian iām not gonna risk bricking with glyph of envy lol
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2576795464 here is kill, pulled the clip
tbh the mana sustain looks good enough to potentially even go seed in maps
yea you could, I even took an extra level in the +3 mana cost chain
so its 9 mana cost lb
In maps I use wrongwarp though
so -5
are you using ladle in uber?
yea
ah
iām surprised you didnāt go for 2lp mana guide they drop like candy
I'm going for 3lp
I also have 2x double T7 julra stardials that I could use
not sure how I feel still
int, spell dmg on stardial?
pretty sure i have 2 of those exact rings for my lich lol
pog
need a 77 enigma, new 4LP ladle for lightning dam %, I think a 77 frac crown
probably proper 3lp phantom glove, maybe weaver gloves
then 77 mana guide with light pen
weaver is kinda not bad
just t7 int with good roll and any usable affix
with self cast you want t7 int t7 cast
they don't have a terribly high LPL either and the affix pool for gloves isn't that big but they're still weavers will items lol
the relics are the worst ones, those things are a nightmare to get good affixes
do we need valatria on this build?
no
man I literally press and hold focus til the day I die 𤣠𤣠𤣠š¤£
this is the way
its damage not as much as valatria lightning blast but it's pretty fun to play
its probably about half when minmaxed
maybe slightly more
I dont have a fair comparison since I have wrong slams
Yo, looking through flame reave's tree and the lightning conversion node says ''Fire damage bonuses from this tree now also apply to Lightning''. Does that also apply to the flat fire damage from frenzied flame?
Like does it double dip?
I have the vilatria staff but not the helmet. I have the fragment. I will try to get the boots and the relic because they seem easier, but getting to the mono boss every time takes forever and the drops in monos are near to useless. Itās not that I canāt do corruption 100 monos without the ladle but every map takes forever and I often die. The ladle seems quite a huge dps boost.
0*1,48=0
Yes but my actual 9000x1,48 would be around 13.500, not counting the other buffs the ladle gives. I donāt know what number has to have the LB tooltip to be considered āfineā though.
LB tooltip doesn't matter if you do no spark charge damage
Yes, but I canāt see spark damage damage. I can only assume that the more LB does damage, the more SC will do damage.
You can if you hold alt on the spark charge node in LB tree but its also not super accurate.
I'm currently at around 600k LB tooltip unbuffed for reference
If it is the value I see pressing Alt on the Cloud Answer node, I see 6939
yea this is pretty low, do you not have enigma?
idk just post your planner, is easier
How can I do it?
go to LE tools, import, enter your info, save, then paste link here
you are not crit capped
you also have the set primordial but don't have any set items
easiest upgrade is get ferebor set ring and vilatria set helm
get blood mage gloves with 4% crit roll, yours is 2
i guess i'm not, i have not other gear but that. I still have not foun vilatria helm seems pretty rare
you can run the set staff prophecy, once you have the COF node that drops full set
then put mages nodes on weaver tree until you drop rune prison complex
then imprint that echo in your weaver tree
run them when you see, get ladle
and get any relic with intelligence
prefer twisted heart though
will try to do those, thanks! Rank 10 of Cof is pretty far though i'm 8
i have only those blood gloves atm -.-
i dont have gauntlet but i have on warden echo, i put it into the tree maybe i'll drop others
What do you guys think of this build? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng589NcG0T8
xd
wait, if i die in the exiled mages echo i can re-do it with all the prisons back again? Is there any malus in loot? Else i'll just redo this echo until i find the ladle lol
yea loot is reduced but you can still get ladle
thanks!
looking at your letools, a ladle isn't gonna magically solve your damage and survive ability. you have A LOT of holes in your gear, idols and blessings. also I'm pretty sure that imprinted primordial ring does nothing.
yea I pretty much went over all that already, its a start though
definitely something. not crit capped while wearing that helmet is painful tho lol
yea, most of the items are really low rolled which hurts
yeah i found the helmet but nothing changed or almost
the helm is giving you like 50 flat to spark and LB
and +1 levels of all skill
xd
I'm not sure how nothing changed if you found the helmet, have you posted your current build?
the build is alway this https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/seppo74/character/Albus
poggies
yeah
yeah looks good, work towards the other things mentioned, will make big difference
IDK how you're struggling at 100 corruption. You should easily be able to get by with that gear just by casting LB at everything. But here's some targeted advice:
The biggest weakness I see: Find a place to get more phys resist - it's the most common damage type in the game and right now you're effectively taking like 55% MORE phys damage, this is probably why you die.
For uniques:
-Get a new version of those gloves with 4% flat crit, this is deceptively important.
-Drop Unceni's Sphere in favor of the Mage weaver relic if you have it, or just a relic with T7 of a good offensiveor defensive stat (Or Intelligence)
-Good unique boots are Foot of the Mountain, Telfun's Mirage, or Blood of the Exile
-Try to find an enigma with a better Intelligence roll
-Use nemesis egg to upgrade your amulet or look for a 1LP one, slam crit or multi or a defensive stat (may be a good spot for phys resist, Evolutions End is pretty common to get LP for so you can always upgrade it later)
Other things:
-Focus on getting 1LP version of each unique you have, slam Intelligence on Gloves, Chest, Boots
-Get a wand with T7 crit multi or crit chance
-Get the +All Res blessing from Reign of Dragons
Also for your weaver tree, I'd recommend imprinting common uniques before trying to get a good Unstable Core. It has a much lower drop rate so will much more rarely drop from your tree in my experience.
Focus on getting good Gloves, Boots, and Relic, and Catalyst first
Oh also for the weaver tree, max out "Exiled but not forgotten", since you don't have the Ladle, you want as many mages as you can. I'd also go for the left side instead of the right side:
The champion nodes there have a small impact, but giving them a 1% chance to drop a 1lp unique AND a bunch more champions spawning is good.
Also, you want Warden's Echo. This wil cause dungeon mobs to spawn in your regular monos, which will fairly regularly drop the Foot of the Mountain for you:
And in my experience, it almost always has 1-2 LP, so it should be easy to get a decent roll and slam (at least) intelligence on it
@harsh abyss here https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/Qdnzezpo

just killed uber with that
Very nice. I was working on my Sorc version of the LB build but haven't played in a little while.
I actually killed regular aberroth with it a few times, which is an achievement because I usually get bored and try other builds before getting that far š
trying to make Julra rings work but I feel giga squishy and its awkward to make good use of the bonus
Have you considered Oceareons? they each give 10% more damage and still give you about half the "less damage taken" as red rings
no all res, no ms, no all attr
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMV7tJZ2DY8 here is the kill, unlisted video
Red Ring is obviously the tankier option for a bunch of reasons
I can see why the MS is important
yea
thanks and noted, will also try to do those
The phys resist is probably the biggest killer
do we need to replace the gloves with blood mage to get health leech?
nope, leech from sorc tree
First time trying the craft on helmet i think this ain't that bad
i have now 70% phys res but i still die even if a little less. Overall it just seems to me that this build is too demanding gear wise, the bear i used before was way stronger at this level and my summon bear toon has way worse gear than this mage. I'm playing hours without any upgrade, i think i'll quit for the moment, but thanks for the input š
guess killing uber aberroth will have to wait next season again for me.
best for damage overtime but only 1 skill š„²
Is there a significant different between the Runebolt and non-Runebolt versions of LB RM?
As far as I can tell there isn't that big a difference
Bear has way higher single target damage and is overall a better bosser.
Mage is overall in a MUCH weaker place right now compared to meta primalist builds. The LB Runemaster build is probanly top dog because it synergizes well with the primordial unique.
But yeah if you're coming from primalist or sentinel those are gonna be way stronger because of the buffs they got this/last season.
starting a fire sorc and I can't tell if I'm supposed to be playing around ignites/dots or more burst dmg? Or are both about equally good?
Both can be strong, just different build styles.
I was going to do a machine gun fireball + wildfire embers ignite build, but I put it aside until the amulet is fixed
I'm exploring the skills rn only like lvl 20, so far liking meteor for big boom but volcano orb is fun too
might give the dot build a chance tho -- I know in poe2 ignite is pretty meh but the stacking here seems neat
didn't they say that it's not broken and it's supposed to be in the current state?
I'm not saying it's weak, i'm just saying it requires too many low chance drops or perfect rolls uniques to shine.
Yeah thats what they said, but I dont think they want it to be functionally worthless, lol. It not using your skill trees means no one will ever use it.
I'll share you mine when I get home, I dont have anything super special and I've been farming normal aberroth
yea lb runemaster is very easy to gear, and yours has A LOT of very very easy to fix holes in it. especially since it's not your first character.
Yeah. Can always farm twisted heart and stuff on your other character to prep
Here's what I'm using currently on my sorcerer version: ~https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/Qdnzezpo
Does it make sense to Imprint Alchemist's Ladle?
I don't think so, it only drops from exiled mages
I don't think the imprints work for it
Also I'm having massive mana issues while clearing. This is my setup right now, I just swapped because I got Enigma.
I assume gloves will help with that?
The non mad version, yes. The mad version drops only via Exiled Mages.
I know I'm missing Runebolt, and I considered using it (I had decided against it because I didn' want Runic Invocation to be my mobility skill), but you don't really use that while mapping anyway, right?
Holes are not difficult to fill, they just take forever to be filled because everything the build needs has a low drop chance AND rolls have to be quite high on certain stats.
i see shatter strike planners ive seen have wings of argentus for the dr while moving, does this have some sort of grace period while stutter stepping and give you 100% uptime even during the split second while you have stopped to attack? @radiant vessel
Nope
I personally have mostly swapped to using wings of discord. It's a DPS loss for sure but it's well worth it tbh
Frees up a ton of opportunity cost elsewhere
ok cool
Would you imprint Exalts like this to upgrade them?
imprinting refers to putting them in one of the slots on your weaver tree, to make more similar ones drop. you typically imprint t7/t6 or double/ triple t7
single t7 exalts drop like candy and aren't worth imprinting really, farm some nemesis towers and you'll get some good stuff
I know there is a chance for modifiers to upgrade, I just wasn't sure how much worth it is. I'll farm for double T7s to imprint then, thank you š
My version and pinchingloaf version use Runebolt, Bina version use Glacier / mountain boots
Runebolt with cast speed of this build = instant mana refill
Is Runebolt relevant for mapping? I thought it was used for bossing exclusively#
Probably not. I do use it, but I'm also playing at 2K corr with 360% cast speed
Out of curiosity Sentinel, what are your typical imprint items on LB RM?
at lower C I didn't really use it
Enigma?
A lot of the uniques are boss / exiled mage drops
Early on I imprinted uniques until I got well rolled 1LPs, imprints are great for hunting good rolls. Yes Enigma was my first
then unstable
blood of exile boots
T7s I didn't bother to imprint, waited for 77s later on
But after I imprinted helms to work on vilatria base
T7 LB vilatria is priority
Amazing, thank you!
Also unless your ferebor reforged is really good using the set ring directly is probably better
Didn't find one yet, but it's one the list
I assume the prio for Uniques / Set is something like Enigma > Vilatria > Grasp > Unstable Core > Ferebor?
what does "% of mana spent reflected to you as damage" mean? Am I suiciding by using LB?
you are damaging yourself, yes
ew
then how come I run oom
because you have like 0 regen and a small mana pool
its like 15 damage to yourself per cast or something, not much
but you also get damage stagger which means you are less likely to get oneshot by a big hit
Thank you for the help š
baby's first gear š¶
Abandon tooltip dps š
It's literally my only metric to compare gear š
I don't have anything else to trust :/
If we had something like PoB, sure
BTW @proven haven I am genuinely impressed not only by how zoomy it already is, but how tanky.
My Paladin couldn't dream of this Ward generation.
And you get to snipe stuff from off screen.
I really feel like I'm back to playing Chaos Lich in PoE2 with absurd Energy Shield while sniping from offscreen
yea the off screening is pretty great
Amazing clear and bossing
My only complaint is mana right now, but maybe that'll solve itself (cope?)
runebolt is easy solve
I've looked at Runebolt, but putting movement on Invocation and having to blink for Ward / buff really put me off.
How does it work? You cast it and get mana? Or do you need a target?
How do you make Runebolt Cold BTW?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGyaT2d7ajU see how I use runebolt in the Uberroth fight in the beginning, you do need a target but whenever my mana is low I just shoot a couple off and boom, full mana. You make it cold by the cold conversion node in the tree: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oz0mvr8Q

can you "hit the air" like Sentinel with Multistrike?
I guess buff + blink being on 1 button frees up a buff button anyway
Guess I'm swapping
Thank you as usual š
Ok, call me blind, but I genuinely don't see a node saying Runebolt is converted to Cold
just be mindful of your cooldowns, also Runic Invo teleport can skip a lot of areas. As long as you can see halfway to a destination and its pathable you can jump through any amount of distance
Isn't 100% LB uptime more DPS?
maybe if you have low cast speed but you just tap a runebolt every 3 seconds or so
optional, I guess
BTW is the maxroll planner done in order? I noticed things I found a bit strangely ordered so I figured I'd ask (like going for Dual Aegis super late in the Flame Ward tree)
not really
Unfortunate. š
it was originally but as I changed stuff around it wasn't super accurate anymore
I'm approaching lv 70 at the moment, so having a prio order would have been nice
In the guides I put out I did explain the progression which would make the node order more clear, but yeah I should probably go back through all the planner variations and fix orders
I'm pretty certain the order wasn't mentioned and I watched the full video twice, but I'll rewatch
(I might have forgotten, I am forgetful)
This is the one, right?
That's the one I watched twice anyway
I think order might be correct actually, let me check
It's the skill tree order that threw me off, the passive tree seemed fine
yeah flame ward looks correct anyway
Dual Aegis that late really?
What's your clear rotation?
Invocation to blink and buff - Flame Wall to ignite - Runebolt for Mana - LB?
Or do you just go Invocation - LB and reserve Flame Wall + Runebolt for bosses / Runebolt if oom?
I was wondering how efficient using Wall + Bolt is for clearspeed
for clear you almost exclusively use LB and Runic
ā¤ļø
you can prematurely drop wall when spawning a mage or nemesis for a bit more dps
Yea that's how I was doing it
Speaking of Mage, not having to chase Mage and lizard around the map for 12 business days felt so refreshing lol
How crazy does dropping Enigma and therefore having no traversal skill because I dont want to blink when I need a ward / buff sound?
(the Runic Invocation node Enigma, not the catalyst)
having no traversal at all sounds kinda awful
I figured
I never really found it a problem, you can just use it at yourself
It's cursor, not set distance?
What if I want to hear "I can not do that" though š¤
you disable the dialogue sounds

Why do we have Arcane Warden from the Spellblade tree?
its int stacker build

I have removed it, I need points for another passive
Runeword: Cataclysm for crit chance?
Wisdom
for Mana Regen or Mana gain?
Both
I've built my skills differently from him to support my high corruption farming. Since I don't have runebolt, I need mana regeneration
aaah

damn it, have a bit luck but not enough
I have achieved peak fashion
Holding a spoon and wearing a pot, chef?
and floating a moldy pizza slice
Good find? š¤
Yup, was failed almost same with 3lp a hours ago
Realistically, which of the uniques would you go for 3 or 4 LP vs 2 LP
@proven haven Sorry for the ping, but I thought pinging the spreadsheet guy might be the right call here š
You can check on LE Tools or Tunk Lab the expected chance of getting LP and sort of guess yourself what sounds reasonable to farm for.
I've rerolled twice, had a bit of luck, but it's still not enough š
Yea you need to figure out that for yourself. I have a good picture of what I would realistically farm for any given character but occasionally I'll drop something outside what I would normally farm, brick it, then be sad anyway.
4lp ladle though is the only one I'd intentionally target. 3LP enigma.
Everything else 2LP, 1LP RR
@proven haven Do horn of bone wisp is a great bonus for playing a runemaster who use Gon Rah Gon as main damage (one of invocation patterns)?
horn is actually a solid wand
I can't find a wand which have solid flat spell damage for a crit-based runemaster build before it's out, so I wonder if this wand fix the empty
š¤ 2 more skill points for all intelligence skills my runemaster have. I need to think how to manage...
Probably not, you either applying ailments in which case is not best option, or you want flat damage which means either vilatria, legends Entwined with ladle, or Reowyn Fortress staff
I want more flat damage
Yes, horn doesn't have that much
if you're using vilatria, do you want int for every single exalt affix you can get it on?
how much flat does it usually end up with? I would think 150-180int would be pretty average for a dedicated attribute stacker with 200+ being possible
With Vilatria you want as much Int as humanly possible, it kinda gives you ALL the stats you need.
So shooting for 200+ is generally the play
LB self cast gets to around 240 depending on item choices yea. But it also uses enigma and ladle anyway which also scale with int
Yeah so you're just getting a ton of value out of the single stat anyway. Makes sense
I was using Horn on a self cast marrow shards build and it performed fine. But it also didn't care to stack int to the moon
The main reason ladle wins for int stack builds is that it has a more multi built in, and cast speed per int. If you have 150 flat elsewhere it's basically giving 75 flat for free and 100 cast speed at 200 int
This is reminding me that I need to work on my spreadsheets. Gotta get my personal sheets to FrozenSentinel level
Definitely. There's not really many sources of flat available for MS, so I didn't really feel like Ladle would have worked out. I've used Wrongwarp in the past but the nerf was enough to make Horn's skill levels have more value
TBH the biggest thing about Ladle is the cast speed. That 100% cast speed at 200 int is pretty huge.
Like, the build is getting so much from Int it's silly to be able to use ladle + vilatria
well, a 48% more multiplier is certianly nothing to scoff at either, and it covers your shred and frailty for free, which is super nice
all the while having an absurdly low LPL
yeah
i have a feeling ladle is gonna get nerfed in 1.4 but i would really rather just see some other wands get buffed
part of the problem is that every other wand is either just super situational or straight up bad
Yeah
I could see maybe the cast speed taking a hit. It got a huge nerf in 1.0 by limiting the number of debuffs it could count
but it's like
having a 48% more on a wand is big. But having that AND cast speed per int is incredible
I'd rather see Staffs get buffed though. The value of being able to use an offhand is so big
i'm getting real tired of the cycle of nerf wrongwarp>nerf ladle>nerf wrongwarp>repeat
even builds that don't build int are still using ladle over anything else these days
last epoch in 2030: mad alchemist's ladle now gives 1% more spell damage per unique negative ailment (up to 2) and 1% cast speed per 50 int. wrongwarp now gives 1% increased spell damage per 50% increased movespeed.
I'm definitely in the camp that nerfs are important and you shouldn't just buff everything, but you're 100% right that the alternatives need buffs
i tried using abacus rod once. that was miserable
ye for sure i'm half joking lol but yeah it's a bummer how there's like 3 wands that have seen real play for as long as i've been playing (since beta)
marina's lost soul had some niche use in the past
marina's used to be used a fair bit when flat damage was more in demand, now adaptive spell damage is so easy to come by that it's fallen out of favor
yee
bone wisp is like situationally neat like you can technically have perma flame ward but the numbers just don't compete with ladle or realistically even wrongwarp really, especially for a prim slot
really depends on how much you need the skill levels
perhaps just caster weapons in general, at least for mage. We don't really need crit since you get it elsewhere, cast speed is nice but you get it on catalyst, passives, relic, gloves, etc. If you stack mana, most of your mana comes from elsewhere. Not many of the caster options really "do" anything, other than the really niche items like Reoywyn Fortress that has a very specific purpose
Give me a mana weapon thats like int scales mana instead of ward retention or something idk
Ladle just naturally scales with new power creep since it's a separate more multi, while most other caster weapons don't keep up.
Idol haste / uber relic, etc. kinda made wrongwarp obsolete too
yeah I can see that. there's a lot of staffs that aren't all that great either
same with sceptres. it's what, firestarter's torch and not much else?
i feel like there are a lot more staves that see play, just not generally on mages. sceptres i agree on, although thereās only 6 unique sceptres lol
Why is Ferebor's Ring increasing my stats by 2?
It also gave all my skills +1?
the set bonus says +2 to all totem skills, but neither +2 to stats nor +1 to all skills fall under that lol
you have primal ring?
Yeah we need more generally strong caster weapons that benefit different (but generic) caster styles.
Gimme some that are good for channeling. Some that are good for mana stacking. Some that are good for "big kaboom" play that dont benefit from cast speed...
3rd
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAwRjE5iA I found this in nemesis with a t7 added fire prefix and 2/3/3 level boosts. It's a pretty neat playstyle. The spell damage is actually useful for flame reave because flame reave can scale with spell damage.
Blade weaver stacks with flame reave with 4 points in the mana reduction(barely under 10), expend blade weaver stacks with surge(converted to fire), doubling up with Dormant Energy on surge. Enchant Weapon just being generally good and a damage steroid. Stack intelligence and dexterity as high as you can go for easy 100% crit as well.
it's admittedly also not caster-based lol
(other two spells was flame ward for fire aura/ward related reasons, and tbh fireball since it cast with flamereave but probably should swap that to something else? fire res reduction is already trivially stacked to max with fire auras...)
uncertain how much it scales yet, but getting up to level 90+ felt very easy compared to other builds. just stack two stats, and most of the damage comes from the weapon.
I'm about to start some trove-ing in 100 corruption but I'm also lacking better gear, so I'd need to increase corruption, but I'd need better gear to feel comfortable raising corruption š
When do you start seeing some decent T7s?
rares on a good base with the right T5s are usually better than unslammed uniques and exalted with like one relevant affix. Seriously you can have great EHP and decent damage that way.
I wasnt asking about T5s tho
yeah but it's another answer to your issue of having inadequate gear to push corruption even to like T500
You can see them in Empowered Monoās, when you see them is a matter of RNG.
yeah you can get stuff for single T7 slams easily between 100-300 corruption
You donāt need T7s to go past 100 corruption though
if your build is mostly unslammed uniques you can end up with like zero EHP though even if your damage is passable
depending on what you're using
which is why I suggested rares
I felt like this is ready to be slammed to have something passable until later, but see for yourself.
Always happy to get suggestions
(How do I share my gear without screenshotting every single gearpiece?)
Well, here we go š

EZ, thank you
Ladle + Fragment have 2 LP, Grasp has 1
I have a semi-decent Unstable Core as well, still need to Nemesis egg it though (puts me barely above 300 mana)
Looks like the easiest item to replace is the relic, but getting single T7 slams on all your uniques is another relatively low hanging fruit. Grabbing prophs for exalts is a decent way to get what you need, and you can use havocs to get exactly what T7 you want relatively fast.
The relic is a placeholder and to fix my res.
I've been farming Uhkeiros for 2h straight š
Yep, that's why I was asking earlier around what c level I can count on the first T7s dropping
been only seeing t6 so far
T7s start dropping in level 90+ areas, but prophecies can ignore area level and drop T7s anyway
If you can, always try to push into level 100 / 100c to do farming so you can start getting grand blessings which will free up your gearing even more, in addition to the better drop rates
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/ import enter account and character name
I'll keep farming then, thank you š
I don't really know these LB mage builds well so I'll guess you're relying on ward to survive because you don't seem to have a single item increasing your health other than vitality from +all attributes
pretty much
active generation in combat is like 4500 ish
I have been hit for 2k+, so that scared me a bit to increase my corruption
I guess you mean you have like 4500 ward in combat rather than you get 4500 ward per second
4500 ward per second would be basically immortality
4500 ward peak is a bit low in my experience
more comfortable with like 6k
I mean my active upkeep is a steady 4500
so uhm... is there a less life draining way of farming the Uhkeiros Relic? š
nah, that's the only place it drops
What do you use Gold on?
Buy stashes or buy runes at lightless arbor
I forgot about Arbor
I mean CoF
runes at cof?
MG use gold buy item more
You still need to buy runes if you use a lot, prophecies about runes are not enough, and they take up a lot of your time
I use prophecies for idols and uniques
cof doesnt sell you runes
you can get prophecies for crafting materials but they're not all that rewarding
Have you read about rank rewards and those "Rune" prophecies?
If you play long enough, you'll also have to learn how to reduce spending on Havoc and Redemption. I've found a way for myself, so I haven't used gold to buy runes for over a month now
So I've been using the reforge and it turned my relic blue and keeps giving me stuff like cold damage š
Am I just being unlucky, or does this not work for the relics we want?
I think I found Imprint + Slam material
I often have to check carefully when clicking ever since they added this reforge button. I never want to use it again after three tries
select spell crit?
oh I cant select it lmao
I picked Lightning damage. It selected Necrotic Damage.
Man I'm starting to resent sanctum.
Sealed is it name
Neither are good imprints and you can't slam t8.
The sealed tier doesn't matter for the proc tier
And belt is boss only
Is this where I seal the Intelligence and Rune of Removal hope to remove Attunement?
Or do I seal Attunement, add MS, then Havoc?
I'm looking at the google doc but I'm confused lol
If you want the intelligence to T7, you seal attunement, craft MS, then havok
@proven haven Why are we filtering for the Spark Champion's affix when it's not used anywhere in the build?
I added options, T7 LB belt is good for single target. T8 belt is good for autobomber
also early on T8 is strong
Also always filter for other builds you MIGHT want to try. Making new builds with drops from your first build is a lot of fun in LE
Also I was thinking about Static Orb and Ladle. It might be a build where Triboelectra could be better than ladle. SO has so many More mulitpliers the the +3 levels from tribo might be worth more than 48% More damage.
itās like 29 to grab all the mores iirc, which is doable with ladle
ig there are the nodes that slow down the projectile to have the damage ramp and the arcing one for a bit more damage but in my testing those nodes mostly just made the skill feel way worse to play
I actually like the 'slower but more ramp' node more than the 'explode on hit' node because I feel like the drag helps the little orbs hit the same target. But that could just be personal preference.
Also can't it double hit if the orb passes through and then explodes?
I'm quite surprised by how squishy 5000 Ward upkeep feels even at 100c lol
Is armor shred on gloves a really especially rare thing? Iām filtering for a t6 or better roll on a pair of gloves that could literally have anything else and itās taking a while.
Iāve been finding it left and right on amulets.
Do you have any other layers of defense?
-Are your resists capped?
-Do you have any armor?
-Do you have any dodge?
Sometimes it's easy for mages to get to high tiers with zero armor and it actually does a lot to help you be tankier
I think you're just unlucky, unfortunately
Figured as much. Iāll just stack the deck more in favor of gloves between blessings and COF prophesies.
Or Iāll give up and just stick t5 on my current shackles, assuming that Iāll find others later.
TBH you don't really need a T7 roll to stack up to the diminishing returns point. With a moderate roll on ladle you don't really need any anywhere else, and that's just like... 40% chance
Iām not using ladle. I have a 2LP frozen ire for which Iām farming for a slam candidate.
And a 3 lp vial.
Yeah, I just mean that as an example of not needing a ton of shred to get the max value
yep
Your resists are WAY overcapped. It's better to have undercapped resists and have more armor/health
I'm aware
I wouldn't bother with t6 shred, just craft T5 on something useful until you can get a t7 or whatever, assuming you need it. Can also get shred on amulet
What is the the diminishing returns point for frostbite chance? The armor shred is for the Runemaster passive that converts it. Getting a t7 roll on my amulet was like a quantum leap in damage.
Oh, if you're converting it to frostbite, get as much as you can
on amulet AND gloves
Thatās the plan. Amulet is done. I just need the best roll I can find for the gloves.
Where is all your resist coming from? Idols?
Not much I can change about that at the present

I've been farming that dragon for 3h today
Which rule is it? The filter is giving me a headache
this might explain why I haven't seen a Ladle ever since lol
I don't hide ladles
then idk
Ladle seems rarer this season for some reason
I feel like I was swimming in them last season
hm I don't see rolls here
after killing dragon just hold X and make sure theres nothing hidden
Yep, been doing that
yeah I think is fine then
it didn't drop
it should drop in empowered pretty often
even though I stacked 2x 40% rarity before entering the fight every single time lol
that doesn't do anything
oh
wait the wiki says it does š¤
I'm gonna farm empowered reign of dragons anyway for the all res blessing
I think it means corruption though
It's worth it to get that 20% all
yep thats the goal
reign of dragons for all res, black sun for crit, ending the storm for lightning dmg, age of winter for phys res
my todo basically
storm for shred*
got it
BTW how do I know how modifiers like Intelligence vs Spell / Lightning / Elemental Damage vs Lightning Pen etc compare
I'd have no idea which exalt to choose for example
https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/npc/UndeadDragonBoss oh maybe rarity modifers do work with drop
I wish there was a tool that lets me add custom modifiers to my gear to calculate its impact
intelligence almost always wins if you can get it
pen, increased damage, multi, cast speed depends on how much you already have and where else you can get it
So with the gear I have I've been looking for Exalted Wands at the moment
if you have 500% crit multi (with 100% crit chance) and 900% increased damage (so 10x damage)
Then gaining 100% increased is equivalent to 50% multi
my Ladle is 2 LP
I'm quite happy with the progress I made today though, reached 512k tooltip dps and ~5k sustained ward
you generally dont want increased damage unless there is no other option since you get so much for free from intelligence scaling and idols
yes it is
Okay mr spreadsheet wizard, here's one for you:
An import tool where you can pull a build from LETools or Maxroll where it will tell you your crit multi, increased, crit chance, etc and show where your weaknesses are and what the best way to improve your damage would be.
I've been reforging the adorned idols for increaesd lightning damage while aegis + increased lightning damage
sure you can do that, and I regularly do that for my builds with a sheet
but it depends on how much access you have to different things
you can't just change one thing in a vacuum because then it might make sense to change something else
I can't wait for us to have tools like that, like PoB for PoE
Yeah, basically like POB, where I could swap the T7 affix slams on my gear to other things and see the impact on DPS, for example
something like this for a relative comparison
you could calculate the whole thing starting from scratch but often times if you compare multiple choices for the same build you just need a relative comparison
something like this is more "from scratch"
Yeah, I was thinking about a similar thing when I was comparing Meteor with Static Orb
I really wonder if Vilatria + Ring and Meteor might be fun because you'll have so much cast speed that you'll be dumping your mana and dropping ALL the meteors
yup, I tired it, it's good
you need enough mana for it to not feel awful though
Yeah
And if you're stacking that much mana, SO is probably actually more powerful after all the More modifiers in it's tree
it is
Yeah, that confirms what my quick math said
I wish the "one big meteor" style was viable.
5 extra meteors is just too powerful, all the damage for meteor is basically tied to that branch.
Give me a super powerful branch of the tree, but lock it behind a node that says "each cast can only drop one meteor"
what is a good build for a spellblade?
Shatter strike
4th
no 4% tho š
This is where you Rune of Removal for the 25% chance to hit Cast Speed, right?
I should imprint the item as is then, just in case lol
ez
one big meteor probably wants you to cast it with Black Hole, since multimeteor only happens on direct cast
or via the meteor on crit thing
this was nerfed, multi meteor only on direct now
....that was what I said yes lol
well okay confusing context meteor on crit wants big meteor too is what I meant
What is the build premise for having elemental nova be always tri-elemental?
How many of your 7777s are from imprint vs tower?
Only that pair of gloves, as for 3x7, there are plenty, but whether it's what i need, I don't know
Every week, I get 1-2 new 3x7 items, but most of them are duplicates
I'm only missing a wand and a catalyst, for other stuff, I have a few types with dual prefixes or suffixes to use as samples
The first one was two days ago, the second one is today
I was very lucky to get a ring and a relic 3x7 as raw drops; both are low FP and have the CoF tag... The relic is a global type, and it can roll all class idol
Crit multi and cast speed, if you're lacking crit chance, then up int or look for it on a catalyst
I wasted a 4lp spoon of mine by following a Maxroll guide to craft gear before playing this build
Hitting the Shock Chance and generally 33% disfavourable affixes this many times in a row makes me certain that the Eternity Cache has affix weighting and not all modifiers have an equal chance.
Good as measured in ? Can it do like 1k corruption echos? Actually I wanted to try lightning meteor for quite some time, since I mostly play sentinel and primalist.
If you have a planner would be great
Hey guys, I just dropped this 4LP Mad Alchemistās Ladle but it only rolled 13% shred on spell hit. Do you think itās still worth using/legendary crafting, or should I wait for another 4LP drop with better rolls? Not sure if this one is good enough to invest in..
Good as in yeah 1k and uber viable but it wouldn't be easy
With 77 gear you should destroy uber but with 75 gear it takes a lot of skill
A 3LP with the last 3 unique affixes at 40+ definitely deals better damage and is easier to find than this wand
It really depends on the build. It's possible 13% is enough if you hit a lot but idk if I would invest. Personally I'd just slam with a placeholder until you find better
I have one LP4 ^^'
Thanks a lot for the input guys! Iāll just keep farming until I get a better roll ! š
If you give the turtle a 4LP item, it will definitely return it to you with 0LP
Obviously I am speaking of rerolling the modifiers, not the LP
Why would you turtle 4 LP
Its good idea, i just need farm more 4lp , ty ! š
People are still feeding the turtle a ton and then rerolling, aren't they? Natural 3LP drops are very rare
In this case you have a 4 LP with bad mods
So you reroll the mods
at gauntlet
why are we talking about rerolling the LP, idfgi
If Iām not mistaken, to reroll a 4LP at Gauntlet you need another 4LP, right? I donāt think you can reroll it with a 3LP or lower
I just looked it up and you're right
I was sure you could just dump a low LP one
MB
"No worries, I wasnāt completely sure either , thanks for checking! š
Wow, nice !
I wish i can swap slow for poison
love it
I have a doubt, we canāt imprint this item, right?
I kept the wands with good rolls and gave them to Nemesis, then the turtle helped me
Can't
But they appear a lot at high corruption without needing support nodes. Every week, I usually bring about 4 stashes to feed the turtle
Legendaries can't be rerolled anymore, right?
rip
You can reroll their stats within their roll ranges with the sacrifice altar, but otherwise no
@proven haven Just got it 5 minutes ago from a friend, he picked it up 10 minutes ago
Wow, nutty
The sample product also has low FP. It will likely take quite a while to upgrade its FP. Since itās a 4x7, it can be drop a 3x7 of another class with a higher rate
Anybody have a extra fragment of enigma that can give me so i can start my build. Dont need LP
Trading isn't super open in LE, but if you're COF it's VERY easy to farm, and MG you can buy one pretty quick from the bazaar
I guess 4 T7 has like 3x the chance of dropping a 3 T7 if that's what you want, assuming you don't care about affix position. It's hard because you cant really get a seal on there
Thank you @harsh abyss
Oh pog I'm red now, hype
this is what i am using, fun but my gear is not really optimized i am always ok with tips and advice...like im not really sure if i should bother with ignite or ditch it
it helps save time in 3x7 imprinting, that's all I want from it, and the pure rng thing is just crazy š
Do I have to directly cast spells for sorcerer bonus damage?
Mastery bonus? Maybe nope
It will always take notes if requested, if not requested and it doesn't work, you should report the bug
i hate pure rng
Runes of Ascendance exist
do I care about the Spark Charge area on Fragment of the Enigma, or just the Int value?
It will help your clear speed
huge? š¤
answer is not clear, right ? š
it isnt
anyone playing wildfire embers / reave spellblade build? im lvl 90 still working on mine.
the gamba shall reveal if it is
Everything I've heard is that wildfire embers isn't worth it because it doesn't use your skill tree on the skills it triggers
which isn't a bug, but is terrible design
just specced into Runemaster. if i'm seemingly not supposed to focus on one element - then what do i focus on? DoTs? or will there be some class mechanic later that will make it all make sense?
Wildfire Embers is trash.
The ignite proliferation doesn't proliferate the entire stack or from/to every enemy in range & the duration of proliferated ignites is small - this is working as intended apparently. Oh and I've heard the damage of the proliferated ignites doesn't match the applied ones from skill more multipliers etc.
The Wisps which copy your skills last 3s rather than the 8s they said, at 8s iirc it was probably going to be like a ~36% more damage mod for fire skills on average (assuming the Wisps copied skills used your skill trees!)
The copied skills don't use your skill trees so they're weak af and you get fewer of them than we originally expected.
It was the primordial item I was most excited about pre-patch but everything unique about it is trash and the stats (including ignite per fire res) don't justify the primordial slot on any build afaict.
lots of good info. that's really disappointing.
Fr, like half the text on it might as well not exist
that and abomination sacrifice being bugged so the abomination sacrifices itself are the biggest disappointments of the patch for me
LOL i didn't know about that bug.
That's what I mean about the terrible design. Like, I can understand the proliferation radius being kind of small, but the skills not using your skill trees? That's like.. the main reason to use it!
Definitely not strong enough to be worth the primordial slot as it stands now.
it's semi rare, unclear exactly why/when it happens, but your abomination just randomly dies instantly sometimes while sacrificing other things. It happens often enough that it seems to happen maybe once every other monolith roughly if you're zooming but that's too frequently to be playable given your build probably revolves around the abom.
Being able to automate selective sacrifice casts (ie it will only sacrifice skeletons if you only make it from skeletons) is such a unique capability and very potent but in its current state...
it's clear that they didn't want the ignite prolif to be good for ignite builds to speed up monlith running, just to enable the skill copying stuff by making sure that many enemies are technically ignited even if those ignites aren't dealing meaningful damage but then the skill copying is also disappointingly bad????
idk what's going on in their design process or why they led with it as their first shown promotional primordial to drum up excitement for 1.3.
Someone clearly thought that it would be interpreted the way players have interpreted it or they wouldn't have spoiled it first up but then their comms after release are "working as intended, deal with it."
I just don't understand what the approach is there.
Yeah, it has 2 draw: Ignite prolif and skill copying. And both of them are terrible right now. People did the math on skill copying and even with the skills using your skill trees its only like a 30% more damage multiplier
And who cares about if prolif clears monos for you, name me one build that struggles with clearing basic mono enemies at even kind of reasonable corruption levels..
yeah, it's more than 30% if the ignite/fire pen is relevant but it's not like there are problematically strong ignite builds around rn
Especially not for mages, lol
they say they dislike walking sim builds but add thicket of blinding light and downfall of the righteous (witchfire relic) this year, I don't think there's a single situation in which a really sweet version of ignite prolif would actually be busted compared to thicket
Also don't forget consecration last season
Also you wouldn't be a walking sim build because you still have to apply all the ignites for them to prolif
Like, yeah even if it clears screens you still need to cast at least one spell per screen
And that's no different from other big AOE spells
allright you ingnte people , can you tell me if i should spec igniote on this build or ignore it for crit...im thinking about changioing some skills to utilize the +igniote from bonus fire prrot https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/hibbidy_jibbidy/character/oopga
but, i mean i have garuanteed crits from meteor if i have over 400 mana
which is generally most of the time
how are additive and multiplicative mana-cost additions combined?
also how to adjust for mana-efficiency nodes?
meteor is generally played as a crit skill but there are enough generic multipliers that ignite may work⦠however, youāre definitely going to want to focus on one or the other as opposed to both. trying to scale both dot and hit will almost always spread your build too thin and lead you being not particularly good at either.
yea, that was i thinking, but i have so many idols revolving around dots lol, ill have to focus on getting mana and crit muti
ive been dying for second opinions, thanks for the reply
sorc hase direct multiplicative with mana cost, i am not sure of the other 2 mastries
the insistence that the item is "working as written and intended, we're sorry that people expected it to be better" in response to all the feedback is... frustrating to say the very least
I started my character this season with the expectation that the item would at least work as the words written on it say it does. Didn't even have to be good, just the bare minimum. but no, it just fundamentally doesn't function.
its like some guy who really wants ignite to be good made a wish on a monkeys paw for wildfire embers to be created and for it to proliferate ignites and spawn things that copy your skills and scale ignite chance off other stats and add survivability too.
ive seen some rogues pairing it with existing scaling from fire res for ignite in that class's skills but it doesn't even look good there.
I know. Thats' why I'm asking this question. If a skill has a base cost of 10 mana and with two nodes it gains both +20 mana and +10%, how is the final cost calculated?
flat comes before % mana cost. final cost would be 33.
I really want to try a vengeance build using that node that gives ignite pen per fire res when fire converted, but the node has just never worked lol.
just Last Epoch things
think they said they fixed exactly that node within the last month or so but didn't actually fix it somehow
It took me like a year of keeping a thread alive to get the Spark Nova node in LB fixed, I posted on it every month to keep it open. š
Yeah, twice, kinda
I've been trying to get locust swarm's cold conversion fixed since it became broken in 0.9, they still seem to not be sure whether it's a bug or not š
Oof
Are there set items besides Ferebor + Vilatria Helmet that would synergise nicely with Legends Entwined?
Also I am so confused, because I keep seeing in multiple guides that the "Chance for Lightning Blast to Chain 4 Additional Times" suffix is BiS, yet I see none of them use it on their gear. Why?
Shattered lance and last bear are fairly solid sets
Would be a bug with the guide. It's a sealed belt affix, in case you aren't looking in the right place.
Because you cant use the t8 version AND legends entwined.
And you cant use the t7 version and the belt that gives 20+ int
thanks!
and to expand on this, unless you drop twisty for shattered worlds or have aspirational gear, it's going to be very difficult to cap crit without the 20 int from orian's
But you can still slam a t7 version on the belt
it's not a t8 exclusive...
I'm talking about this affix here.
I don't understand why it's mutually exclusive with Orians.
Or can you not slam sealed affixes? š¤
It's a sealed champion affix, sealed can't be slammed
This was the info I was missing, thank you
Over 1k corruption and still no double T7⦠Feels bad š¢
T_T
just abuse rampant coast and spam conquered towers, they'll start showing up
I try !! xD
jeez
i've heard some people having luck with prophecies but i've never needed to
also if you have coast imprinted you're probably losing a ton of coast procs by laying out your timeline like that
Yeah i see that, need more space ?
iirc the most efficient way is to do one line in each of the four directions going straight until the total distance (in number of nodes) from the center is 10. after you've got 10 away from the center in each direction, you reset.
pretty sure binaqc has a video on it
Ty dude !
How do you even do your pattern like this.
I know about making a line in the middle, alternating with Folly to juice your nodes, then filling left and right, but that's 3 columns.
You have 4, so why isn't the game auto filling.
I try ubby but i thinks need more cast speed x)
Just dropped my first double T7 :ā) Since I only play wands, I guess this is pretty much useless for me, right?
Honestly I donāt really know⦠I just placed my maps in a line without thinking too much ^^ā
is hydrahedron bomber RM not viable this season?
is Meteor top-tier this season?
Could it be a filter issue?
Nop, i check 100 time x)
Yes it's still good
Not really
