and like if your mana gets sky high you can transfer to the belt
But for a reasonable amount of mana (1k) you have other options
wonders if we can even count 1k mana as mana stacking for sorc lol
if ur playing sorc and not 1k its questionable 😂
I propose 2k be the new minimum for "Mana Stacking Build" to be allowed to call itself that
(at such absurd numbers, auto-crit harbinger of the stars is probably best build tho)
its kinda w.e
but yea 2k is with proper investment.
im using harbringer of stars with 100% cr, its solid tbh
(as you drop meteor once and then just walk around letting it kill everything forever)
the biggest issue with it, is that it doesn't activate archmage
its not forever since its only a few % chance to proc on crit. buts its solid
(just multi-drop meteor, sure the cost goes to the moon, but it's FINE)
Anyone know how will this type of catalyst upgarde when you slaying a habinger?
Soooo whats the most potent sorcerer build?
Is the glacier build really pulling ahead right now?
Glacier vs Meteor, is one better in general?
glacial meteor is better than both i think
Man everyone is mana stacking
Makes me wonder if I should roll something with cheaper gear lol
I'm debating between spark charge or plasma orb build. Are they still strong?
it will unlock a new implicit, I dont remember offhand but you can look them all up on le tools
Any other fireball enjoyers?
Glacier might be stronk and potentially even ahead, but I personally don’t enjoy the playstile of it. Having lots of fun with lightning frost claw triggering lightning blast and spark stacking.
Compared to 1.0 now the lightning blasts triggered from the dagger also take your skill tree into account (and spend mana)
I think Glacier might be the strongest 🙂
Any good uses for this Laddle?
If you get a erased mage with +4 frostclaw are you forced to scrap your spellblade and reroll sorcerer or something?
no?
any good spark charge build?
What is the point of using both Static orb and Glacier?
lightning aegis DR
They should just rename the mage class to sparkman
I am trying to build something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ytsxzHRvc8&t=3s
let me follow that too
I can't decide on wrong warp or dagger, playing with dagger now, atleast until I can get the crit ring
Any sorc reached a corruption wall with lightning meteor w/ vilatrias downfall? I've easily shredded through normal monos and early corruption is a breeze so far
how you guys get mana over 1k? i only able to get 400 max.. lol...
I started by taking mana any place I could, sacrificing everything else, no int or damage 🙂. I see some start the other way around and use a generator
u take nearly all mana nodes in skill tree
get mana glass idols
then get mana affixs on gear
mana well is a very important node aswell.
im having 0 issues at 200 atm and my build is baddddd
is there a timeline to prioritise when raising corruption ? Just unlocked empowered
what ever one drops items u want
Make a filter to find anything with mana on it. scrap it and then craft items with mana on them
Awesome, I'm really enjoying the tempest style meteors so I'm glad I can enjoy it a while longer lol
its got some absurd dmg on it. make sure to get good defensive setups.
I have no idea what I want yet lol, are there good blessings to get asap maybe ?
so far spamming glacier stomps anything
mana blessing if needed
flat armour
% armour
res's
if ur wanting to do pinnacle u need all timelines
Since I have 4-5k ward usually.. this does not do anything right? since I am taking damage to ward not to health
I've noticed. I absolutely obliterate any boss, experimental mage or nemesis in a second but so do they to me. Literal glass cannon as long as I dont have fire shield up. Considering swapping teleport for flame rush (converted to lightning) but I'm enjoying the res from teleport
Using flame ward to provide huge dmg reduction when fighting them.
currently my setup
meteor(duh)
focus(negative mana gen)
teleport(make sure to habe clear cast)
frost wall(lightning convert and casts flame ward)(also lightning pen)
free spot(options are blackhole, flame ward spec, static orb for DR, arcane asc)
Woah.
Interesting build, I need to look into frost wall with the run through ward. I got the same except flame ward with double cast and still holding on to my mana strike for whatever reason lol gotta change it out for something better
now chaos that fireball into a +mana
hello, fellow mages, can you link me to a sorc disintegrade build ?
mana strike is fine if needed
frostwall better than raw flame ward imo ifu can get used to it. U get the shock stuff going, haste, bit of dmg, etc.
also rm 15 points is easy
True. But I've felt that the double cast of flame ward has saved my ass a few times lol
hey if it works, dont change it
ive for sure died some times for not having that instant ward
but frost wall is also my only cleanse atm and has saved me more often
my fireball tooltip goes up to 240k with all my buffs active. monka
What's looking like ''the'' mage build for this cycle so far?
Anyone able to help me kill boss in temporal sanctum 3 maybe 4?
Gotta risk it for the biscuit
any high corruption mage pushes yet
it checks for damage and does not care for ward aka it will work even if you have ward
All these have done 700+ Corrupt by different people:
CoC Glacier>Meteor
Selfcast Meteor
Selfcast Static Orb
Selfcast Glacier
CoC Static+Meteor
all manastacking
have u tried lightning fireball at all?
my metwor hits 250k dps easily but the ST is kinda bad and im wondering if fireball is an option over arcane asc
Ty
no I'm purely fire fireball. I haven't tried anything lightning related yet
fair
also still only doing 100 monos to get my blessings. and my gear is still scuffed for the most part
yea i changed some gear and now my res' are terrible. need to go do blessings again
I got 1 shot by ory because I didn't realize I lost all my void res...rip
what is a good solution for if youre having mana problem ?
does craterborn buff work with vilatras downfall?
how much mana do i need before glacier becomes a mana generator?
if you're already playing with lightning gear, what about static charge for ST ? It seems very potent for that
Crater born is a buff that buff gives fire penetration, vilatras alters metor to lightning but that's it really,
ill give it a read
as far as i could tell, no.
which is sad but also fine since lightning meteor has many other point options
anyone ?
Focus
get more mana or use mana generation
it really depends ur build aswell
im doing twinbeam disintegrate, currently at lvl 73, mana is starting to become really an issue
im a sorc as well too
Mana and mana regen on all your gear
Ok thanks
non of my skill can generate mana realiably except focus which is very troublesome
disint needs max mana, mana regen, and i think you can look for mana on kill stuff.
check around for some builds or use ctrl + f
there is nothing here, searched google, maxroll, all they have are prepatch theorycraft
Import your build to lastepochtools and let us have a look
Ive only played pally healing hands last season, how do you survive with mage, I got meteor build, mana stacking, not very good gear yet. I can live just find till im oom and focus is on cd. any other way to get ward?
depends ur build
sorc has good leach
ward gen
dr through flame ward and shock
mana spent gained as ward is also great
Does anyone know how interacts with the node that turns it into a lightning blast? Does the lightning last inherit the crit chance or zap charge cost reduction?
as a sorta dumb glacier question. How is my mana going negative?
You can cast a spell while on plus mana if it costs more than you have you use all your mana and go into the negative to use the rest of your mana for the mana cost needed
got it. thanks
That’s just how all skills work in LE
I don't know for sure if lightning blast does inherit, but I do not think that the LB cast from that inherit the LB tree - they don't seem to - as the LBs that come from you when the charges are above the threshold don't seem to chain.
The general rule of thumb is: Equippable skills that are triggered by other skills don't inherit any benefits from nodes in the triggering skill unless otherwise specified. They use their own tree and all the bonuses there.
Triggered LB won't get additional chains from Arcing Power unless you also cast it directly because that's how the node works, but it should inherit chains from Chain Lightning
Which Glacier explosion is best to scale via talents?
medium has higher scaling potential
really? could you explain how
not goig glacier, just interested
medium has higher total more multipliers on the tree, i tried it, it deals like 50% higher than scaling large with the same 22 points
lolwat
Wish I had one ;.;
dropped from aberoth
oh man that resistance roll, if it didn't have lp you could've put it on nemesis and possibly get better roll and lp
atleast it's not -10, otherwise the rolls seem good. I got wall of nothing with 1lp and the helmet without lp, gonna egg that on nemesis.
I had this after putting it in nemesis actually
oh okay, did it upgrade any rolls or just lp?
I'm mostly sad about the 18% ward lost. That's kinda big. But +2 skills and 12% mana is pretty good
just lp
Does nemesis actually reroll?
actually, idk for uniques, affixes can gain tiers on exalted etc.
I only tried twice, it had the same but sample size..
lol got 1 more this one is actually giga rolled 😄
disintegrate build on par with meteor or subpar?
https://www.lastepochtools.com/build-guides/allies-mana-stacking-meteor-sorcerer#loot_filter somewhat following this build, and yep i have the Avarice gloves for leech, fire ward, ward as mana. just got to monoliths, once i go oom its hard to stay alive, may just be a gear issues for now i suppose.
Harbingers of Ruin / 1.1
Mage / Sorcerer
• Meteor
• Focus
• Flame Ward
• Teleport
• Arcane Ascendance
Boss Killer / Monolith Farmer / Cycle Starter / Beginner / SSF / Ranged
thats basically the 5 abilities im using
harbinger of stars will eat all ur mana. its just part of the item sometimes.
Make sure to use ur focus properly to gen mana.
Dont overkill packs too hard.
Swap arcan ascendance for mana strike early if needed.
how much mana do you have
600, just got to monoliths.
youre gunna need mana strike and youll struggle with harbringer of stars if u have it
my harbringer of stars can tear through 1500 mana in a second sometimes. its very rng dependant
I dumped my harbringer for that very reason. I'd rather control my mana. I can spam the button if need be
once i have a stranded souls ill be getting rid of it for sure. but its not a terrible belt once u have mana
That is great
you hate to see it...
this is my greatest fear
that hurt
I tried it out, the ward lost on evade is not worth it. Kinda sad that so much good stats feel worthless with that stupid mod
I mean, depends on how often you're using evade, I guess
Yeah I hardly ever use evade
Don’t evade 🙂
Flame rush is my evade
Disintegrate is a meme, I wouldn't be surprised if meteor did literally 10 times the damage
popping 400+ ignite stacks with enchant weapon is hella satisfying
I want disintegrate to trigger teleport somehow, bring back the poets pen builds from PoE and that would do it
One of the most fun PoE builds of all time
weapon swap to ball lightning poets pen for bosses lol
what do people do for mage defense mostly? trying to figure it out because I feel like I'm paper rn
I'm not doing the whole mana stacking thing
flame ward for sure. other options like ward generation or more DR or leech etc.
hmm. i do have a lot of my flameward points into offensive things. maybe I take those out for more defensive options
also incase it wasnt obvous, capped resistsnces, 100% csa, and solid armour amount and some hp
oh...I'm at 0 csa atm l0l. my armor is awful too. hp also bad
that would explain it
for sure 3 parts to work on.
csa is really crucial and helps deter those random 100->0 moments
is getting 60% endurance relevant too if you're not beefing up your threshold
I had SO much fun messing with different poets pen setups for poe, one of my favorites. That and CoC cospri - I think that would be something really interesting to mess with in LE and they're definitely adding those mechanics, they just haven't added movement to it yet
Wound up scrapping disintegrate. The fireball synergy just isn't enough. Now I'm just a regular fireball sorcerer, though I'm focused on ignite. Wish there were better multipliers for it though.
If only ARPG companies realized how much people love builds that attack and move at the same time
Might go back if I get a good ele dot staff, but I just recently hit monos and have a mace of the pontifex which is enough to clear everything with ease.
Completely new to the game, just following the runemaster maxroll levelling build for handiness. Got avarice gloves but how do i deal with the rest of the suggested gear, is it through crafting? Or getting lcuky with drops/affixes?
They need to do with almost every channel skill is allow you to walk and cast like that move that warlocks have
I'm disappointed 😞
Depends. So, crafting is simple but also pretty awesome. You will at the beginning pick up rare items with a couple good affixes. Eventually you will pick up exalted items with good t6-7 mods you want.
Uniques are random drops or farmed from specific bosses
So it seems the fireball node in disintegration, cindersong staff and the extra projectile nodes in fireball plus the piercing and homing don't work as good together as I have anticipated
What is best for flame aura spellblade build? melee fire or spell fire damage?
The fireball node in disintegration has a projectile cap
2 per second channeled up to 8 balls
I think the mana lightning disintegration with spark charges might be good using lightning blast if you want to proc another spell
This thing is kinda insane no? For self cast Static Orb? If I can get an LP1 one and slam Mana+Ward mod, it'd be much better than a normal wand I think no?
Or am I missing something? +3 is gonna give me 15% MORE and 50% crit multi
Not sure what the tendrils mean though, any1 whose used this before?
Why is everyone crazy about the wrongwarp ward? What makes it so special bc i dont see it
move speed stacking adds a lot of damage so zoom zoom
can't lose ward on evade if you're using Fractured Crown anyway 😉
Hmmm ok. And why is the red ring so precious. I found 1 and saw the prices of 3m+ its not that amazing
possibly but it's reeeeeeeeeeally hard to beat Mad Alchemist's Ladle since that wand just gives pure raw damage upon damage
Im new btw 😐
did u read it? Not trying to be sarcastic... check the amount of stats it gives and compare to any other piece u have
10% less damage taken multiplicative with all other sources as well as 20% resistances
if you can activate its effect, it's super good
Ehh idk, I think even wrongwarp is more raw damage than ladle tbh, but I think tribo would beat them both.
If you removed that line, Red Ring would still be bis by far...it gives more than 100% resists, I mean...
I'l have to test, wtb LE Building xd
ladle severely outdamages wrongwarp and it's not even close. and triboelectra doesn't even give a damage buff
Like I said for me personally +3 will grant me 15% multiplicative damage, 50% crit multi.
ladle is 48% multiplicative damage and also somewhere around 50% cast speed meaning you can afford to drop cast speed lines on things like catalyst for more int
wrongwarp varies wildly depending on movespeed but let's say you can maintain 135% movespeed consistently (since wrongwarp alone gives 65%, so 70% from boots and assorted other modifiers). 400% increased damage is quite good but that's still only 400% increased damage, which for most builds is something like a ~~35% equivalence of a more damage modifier
so ladle is still more damage and doesn't require an emphasis on movespeed stacking via good t7 boots
wrongwarp can definitely be good though, we definitely love some juicy movespeed. it's just not as much damage. 🤷🏻♀️
Hey is mana strike works with Volka's razor ? if i have mana strom passive one it ?
Just got an insane firestarter’s torch that I want to use to lvl a sorc but I plan on using a glacier build at higher lvl due to the mana cost, any advice on what build to lvl as and when to convert?
Hmmm... i saw a build where they had this ring twice that sounds insane then
The Carcination for example is already good for the " MORE " armor and the 6 to all attributes
hi, kinda new player here, what build yall recommend for sorc this season?
it's increased armor, not more armor
Its still a huge thing , because its on a Ring
what do i do now :/ my plan got ruined by jankiness
any spellblade can advies ?
It doesnt
man is it just me or does the mage feel rough
you're not counting the ~40 flat spell dam difference between ladle and wrongwarp
which is very significant even on int stack enigma sparkcharge build
Goood leveling as glacier is so mana hungry which is fine cause it slaps hard but mana strike feels SO bad to use. Its one of my least favorite skills
i suppose that depends on how much flat damage you get from other sources but the more flat damage you have, the less the extra 40 matters compared to the 'more' multiplier. and i get the feeling it's not enough to offset all of the 'more' damage multiplier.
with spark charge enigma specifically, 40 flat spell damage from wrongwarp is terrible since you get so much flat damage to spark charge from enigma's unique affix
Im thinking of trying to convert the whole fire aura build under Disintegrate RM into an entirely melee build using things like flame reave. WIP
anyone has insane freezes / frame drop ? I'm playing with glacier (and the spark charge node), I lowered graphics to medium / low but it doesn't change anything
Same. I can't even play it cuz Mana strike is so bad. I just used focus instead.
Can't imagine anything worse that doing 10 DMG melee attacks with my wand
Rough in what sense? Glacier destroys the entire game at least so far to level 70
😦 meanwhile me, using mana strike as my main attacking skill ... i love my mana strike plz don't bulli it
Haha well, I'm assuming yours does more than 10 damage? xD
does enough to kill abomination and rahyeh in normal monos at level ~45 at least
what the portal doin
Hi! I need some help with a build I am making. Have a couple of questions on some mechanics.
- Is there anyway to get storm blade passive to work with Shatter Strike?
- What is the easiest way to mitigate the mana cost of spamming Shatter Strike if I want to spam on a boss?
- any recommended rings to use? Red ring would be amazing.. but Prior to that 😄 currently using Invokers Static
I tried to follow spellblade guide on Maxroll, but as usual many build guides there are BS.
just picked sorc tho at the beginning i wanted to do spellblade :/
I wanted to play spellblade since the beta
but it was on hold since there were many fun things to do
maxroll made me turned off spellblade cause they have it at like c tier on avg
i know i shouldnt trust them completely but feel like they normally get the gist of classes down
I wouldn't let a letter grade turn you away from a spec
spellblade is really strong with a different build I can share..
trying to farm out a throne of ambition and it's being stubborn
It can push really high corruption, crazy clear speed and boss killing, But I am trying to make something new work
Why would a build use unstable core if they don't use nova? Are they using it for its other stats?
i picked sorc cause i do really like glacier ability, timing it and the pay off is fun
just got off necro in d4 which was very different playstyle.
holy. first 3lp item I've found this season and it's an exsang
when you pick Crackling Aura on spellblade, im hoping tha the fire res shred also turns to lightning res shred from flamewalker?
what else would I need as a fireball sorc to make lowlife work? being gifted a 3lp makes me want to at least try it
Flat mana, +level of skills, +ele damage can be used by a ton of builds. If you're mana stacking you can get the +100 mana from unstable core plus an exalted mana affix on the same item. Same reason mana stackers use storm carved testament
What makes spark charges strong? Int stacking with Fragment of the Enigma? Thanks for the info on Unstable Core!
just realized this entire time my shatter filter didn't have hybrid health.....no wonder I only have 7 shards :/
Is any1 playing glacier sorc. and could tell me how I am supposed to regen mana on boss fights? It seems like I always run oom before hitting the 1k mana mark.
Not familiar with glacier but meteor uses focus for burst regen after dpsing out their mana bar
does the +96 spell dmg applied right into the 3rd Invocation or only after you have casted the 3rd invocaton?
I'm leveling with meteor right now. I'm using the teleport mana refund to get an extra cast, is that necessary later on or is focus better?
hey someone wanna go explain me what is end game in this game pls i have like 75lvl and im fellin litlle bored
Early on its pretty much mandatory yeah. Probably not needed once you get to 1k plus mana but I've kept the point in there anyway for a bit of extra dps on bosses
ty gonna try focus
The biggest trick is to grab all the nodes on the right side that give bonus regen, regen after channeling for 1 second, and burst regen if you start in negative mana. So you run out your mana bar to negative, then focus and channel til full and do it again
Yea thought so
you play monoliths, get your blessings together, you craft a bunch of exalted items until you have good gear, you looks up some uniques that you need and target farm them, you throw them into the nemesis until you get one with LP, you try and find a good exalted to slam in, you craft the legendaries, you use your factions to ease the process. And you repeat that until you get best in slot gear or beat the abraov or however hes called.
are sets any better/worth picking up now?
I'm still keeping 1 of each set i find but no prob not
Yes, likely (and unfortunately; channeling is fun)
Fragment makes spark charge absolutely bonkers
left my unique in the bank and got an egg 😦
This is... upsetting to hear. I'm not yet close to your level, but yes, my back-of-the envelop calculations before this patch suggested that's how it will be (and that was back when I assumed that its chanelling mana cost will be included). Completely agree with your last sentence.
It’s trash I tried every way to build it
i do hope in the future theyll make echo farming feel more rewarding. The gameplay loop lacks a whole lot of dopamine hits compared to mapping in POE or netherrealms in TLI. A lot if it has to do with those games having valuable drops that work towards buying upgrades etc and having trade value.
Even when you go maximum glass cannon it’s not good, the only good thing is that it’s easier to maintain stage 3
Independently, @weary hamlet , have you noticed an increase in Disintegrate damage since yesterday? Either my (spreadsheet-based) model is somehow incorrect, or it's doing 22% more damage than it should
That's unfortunate. Hopefully they'll compensate for the damage loss, but maybe not, or not this patch, at least
They gotta nerf ward and fragment into oblivion first
Those things absolutely break the game
Does aegron greater fireball deal good dmg in endgame?Like around 400-500 corrupt
I really want to play that build but I haven't gone and done it yet
does preparation work with disintegrate?
Yes (or at least it did in 1.0)
ty
But even with 100% uptime, which is easier with Disintegrate than other spells, 20% increased dmg per point isn't that good in the endgame
If i convert fire aura to lightning aura, is the fire resist shred converted to lightning shred? from the flamewalker passive
Does twinbeam from disintegrate also make you apply ailments twice if it hits the target twice?
How have I achieved this... lol
is that Dr3ad volcanic orb?
Still leveling, seems worth it to put 5 points in at least for the 100% slow
I have zero uniques on I am level 54
how is the dmg?
I wish I could head to the arena I would take a screenshot.
It's great I don't think it's 34k a second great. I was doing monolits at level 22 though
Ok I'm going to assume there is a scaling bug.
I have a pair of 12 intelligence boots.
Damage with them off vs on
If anyone is using Glacier and Ice Barrage... can you tell me if the mana consumption will feel a little better later in the build?? holy moly...
Firebrand sucks why am I using this over mana strike I don't get it
What would yall use for your 5th ability on a fire dot spellblade? The other four are flame reave, flame ward, enchant weapon, and teleport. I currently have mana strike slotted, but im almost to the point where I can sustain flame reave without it. *lvl 65 if it matters but looking at lategame ideas
Those skills fill different roles, what are you trying to use it for?
spark charge
I'm just following this guide https://www.lastepochtools.com/build-guides/nalias-spark-charge-spellblade
Harbingers of Ruin / 1.1
Mage / Spellblade
• Firebrand
• Frost Claw
• Lightning Blast
• Flame Ward
• Surge
If I had to guess, the global spell crit multi from its tree, among other bonuses
mmmm
Huge
Sexy!
Anyone tested snap freeze on bosses?
Frost claw -- it's extra free hits to apply ignite with. From the skill tree and the passive tree you can get chance for it to proc with melee attacks
Should I focus on fubgun/chunky's build or go with allie's?
Thanks! I'll need to squeeze out a bit more mana regen first but that sounds better than anything else I can come up with
is armor+reduced crit dmg effectively the same as critical strike avoidance, assuming they are both at 100%?
70k + lightning meteor crits so satisfying
hey are there any good runemaster builds for this league
Someone said why play runemaster when you can play sorcerer 🙂
is blind OP now? 1 stack of blind == crit immunity?
anyone playing glacier sorc? im new new and trying it out
Hey guys, sorc has 2-3 nodes that affects skills that cost "at least 40 mana", any way to increase the mana cost of Static Orb? it's sitting at 38 and those passives would be amazing to get. As is, sorc only has two skills that cost 40+ mana, meteor and ice barrage.
Top left node @sterile spruce
Oh, manacharged, I see it now, thanks.
big mana cost xd
mana on everything
Using Fractured Crown too?
No I’m using an exalt helm with mana and the % mana base
Guys whats a good build to speed farm corruption like sonic on crack?
Thank you, I'm trying to make static orb build work without looking up guides.
I've been updating my gear throughout the past days so my dps definitely went up, but I don't think that it was due to any kind of unaccounted factors. Everything more or less does what it's supposed to do. I'm still missing 16% more from lucomancy cause I lack a disintegrate relic, preferably a +4 knowledge
Good luck. Look into using glacier to gen mana and ward so u can cast more orb
Download path of exile
It turned out that I was not including the Spreading Flames bonus since I was not seeing it on mobs; but adding that makes the numbers match. I guess it just doesn't appear
Idk my spreading flames both applies and shows up as particles/debuff correctly, remember that disintegrate only applies it at t3 by itself
Anyone know how to make stormblade work with shatter strike?
Right - I have the Inferno node
Which, in addition to the chance to spread, also gives a 15% multiplicative increase
anyone kill abberoth with metoer sorc yet?
Do you see that as separate floating number (like Ignite works) or is it included in the Disintegrate damage?
Sorry, are you talking about the passive node with 25% chance for spark charge on lightning melee?
Because if so, there's no (non-bug) way to do it. https://www.lastepochtools.com/skills/shatter_strike/sources the skill sources tab in LET will tell you everything that interacts with a skill, and nothing there or in the skill tree gives shatter strike a lightning tag
is Sorcerer, Spellblade or Runemaster better for disintegrate?
anyone have a guide or link to someone that got this crit on cast metoer belt working? I just don't get it. My 1900 mana is just gone in 2 sec
tested in game and asked in #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message , they do not stack additively. they each occur separately because Warden's Echo is generic cast on hit and Macuahitl casts towards target if it's alive or to a new target if the original has died
Are u using the spark charge node?
Setting ur glacial up for full support instead of damage helps too
sorc or runemaster this wipe?
why is scales of ettera good? isnt it just a debuff?
I don't see how I can sustain the meteors
Dropping the spark node and changing ur glacial tree helps a lot
I’m only at 1800 and sustain it fine like that
Guess once u hit 2k mana u can add back in the spark node
glacier will cost <40 mana in that way right? what about ward generation?
So the meteor play is to use glacier as generator and proc meteors?
Yeah, I think that’s what most are doing. Glacier is fat mana and ward gen when set up right
Nop. Still over 40
base crit chance from divine instrument and good stats otherwise. it is by default good as long as you can find some way to work around the elemental status effects it applies to you.
(tip: easy way to play around them is to just not cast any spells of those elements)
I thought someone found a way to counter meteor cost at some point
Im using harbringer of stars with only meteor. Not having issues
Mana strike?
I could have sworn there was a way to scale damage off of cold res under max for sorc, or maybe a unique, can anyone help me if they know what it is?
this is how ive been doing it
you can get throne of ambition through prophecies right? adorned idol prophecies? Maybe my luck has just been atrocious, but I haven't seen it yet
I use the negative focus setup
Damage slows down after my first 2 mana bars but bosses are still dying at 200 corruption in that 2 mana bars
its a boss unique
I am depressed. Rip 20k favor
yea drops from the burd with the turrets. stolen lance i think?
Looks good, will try it. Was thinking there was something else than glacier
ots nice and cna optionally choose the +50% mama overcap, which gives a nice start to boss fights
I guess I know what I'm farming tonight
Too many things to try now 🙂
atleast u dont have to worry much about roll ranges.
i also went 2 for 2 on throne so isnt too rare
can you see spark charge damage numbers on dummy ?
if u ever wanna try something funny for meteor, convert it to lightning.
why do people use blood of the exiles with spark charge?
So the mana regen from glacier is enough to sustain meteors, heh where does that leave blackhole spamming meteor 😛
blckhole sadly doesnt work, i tried
more depressed about the wasted favor :/
Int and movespeed
ty, that really it wow
its cd no matter is just too long to use
Int is king over any other stat rly in an enigma build
Blood of exiles can get like 30int on it as a lego. its good
yeah i get that wasnt like saying they re bad just new to spark charge and the more i looked at builds the more i was leaning towards that
ita not even for just spark charge either
I use transient rest, maybe worth going more int
ima try a frostbite/spark charge frost claw build
each int is 4% spell dmg. so it is never bad reslly
if u have more scalings like crit chance per int or ward retent per int etc. it gets better and better
is it multi or additive?
fresh out the egg
mine rolled like 8 dex 🥲
ive been running avarice for a while with spellblade cuz the leech and res and now im in monoliths, would yall replace them for some random exalted gear or is it actually good? the leech has felt good overall but idk if its worth it in monoliths
I got poison resistance on unstable core with high rolls on mana and ele damage
nice...what's the gear...and what are you other skill trees?
How come my static orb only hits once, im speccing it properly
Whats going on here? Is it the range?
heres my export. gears kinda scuffed tho https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/BEM0lpjB

thanks, what do you call the build? Glacier proccd Meteor/ Glacier proccd satic Orb? I'll have to study that skill/passive tree to understand all of what is going on there...why Focus since in the vid i never see your mana go below about 50%
Because static orb costs almost 400 mana per cast
everyone calling it different names but I like just calling it big sorc
ah, thanks...so you are casting Staic and casting Glacier as a mana generator...sory, just trying to figure this out...I'm currently statraight Meteor
I use glacier for ward gen/mana gen/ meteor procs to clear trash. Static for bosses
ok, think i see, but damn, it looked like you were only using Glacier (which was proccing Meteor) on the dummies and getting lots of hits in the 150K to 200+K which should wipe bosses
gimme a few minutes to get to an oro and ill show why u use orb for bosses xd
👍
do people like arcane ascend? i cant sustsin it for long and cant tell if the multiplier is worth it.
i cant sustain long even specd just coz mana dump. Its decent dmg but just note sure if the 100% or w/e is really worth it.
i do have a lot of flat spell dmg tho through my build
r u taking the node that gives 40% mana cost reduction while its up?
idr. most likely
but how does that node work with sorc passive? id assume nit great
i have like 4 core abilities and just cant figure out a good 5th 🤔 maybe ill go back to frostwall for the cleanse/pem
I'm having some issues with the glacier sorcer build. I can't seem to get enough crit chance to maintain mana. I don't fully understand how to cap this. I'm following the build items but none of the items have crit chance, yet it says one of the earliest milestones is to cap crit chance. Mine is current at 30%. What is it might be missing? I have the node that converts INT to spell crit also
youll need yo get base crit modifiers and then stack crit chance multipliers
im pretty surr there is skill trees in glacier for base crit, but also stuff like crystal skull or phantom grips add base crit

i'm using similar set up, the mana regen from glacier doesnt help much against harbinger/t4 juldra
it's a huge problem i'm having and i dont know how to fix it, if the boss stays alive after the initial burst, i'm kinda dead
im using focus for mana tbh
ignore my shocking belt, just needed some quick void res.
is there an easy way to convert my buuld to an letools planner?
o sweet. needa do that later.
if you're trying to sustain arcane ascendance u need the talent that removes the mana drain but converts it into a # of casts
its not arcane asc draining my mana. its my actual mana pool.
every dies before im out of mana, im just wondering if that multiploer is actually worth it over something else
ah i run the global efficiency talent
im thinking ull add frost wall, convert to lightning, and use it for cleanse/shock
how come your static orb deals so many instances of damage? mine only hits once
are u shotgunning the boss?
i'm not sure, i instagib normal bosses but not harby nor t4
U gotta be like on top of the boss for orb to do that
oh my, that's quite the difference
oh, soooo even if i'm just slightly out of the boss' hitbox, static orb won't shotgun?
Seems that way. Can’t 100% confirm, but feels like you need to be like touching the boss for orb to hit like that
may be a dumb question, but the 900% eefectiveness of added damage for Meteor applies to any flat dmage (melee, void, cold, etc) besides flat spell damage?
Using orb / lb in this cycle is rough if you want to keep mana going, even over 1k mana
most mama stacking builds are rough on mana. without generators
yeah, you really need glacier or run focus
I'm using focus at the moment but I hate that skill with a passion.
im nit finding it bad but it excels with bigger mana pools due to giving %
like if ur specd negative u gain 20% missing instsntly then 10% missing after 1s channel
it's counter synergistic if your mana gets low, so focus is just a band aid
yeah, I currently got 1k mana and its managable.
I just find its tank unreliable. since you need mana for tank as well
i have no idea how we are supposed to maintain high mana for big spenders
not always
the new bosses just constantly attack non stop
the slender harby is so hard to deal with, it has a non telegraphed attack after purple attack that tracks and deals like 5k damage
If I could run mana strike instead of focus and still run trigger LB too without saccing my wand i'd be perfect.
mana strike gives so little mana its bad after esrly game imo
Gives more than the manipulation node on LB I think
also id would be a melee attack so id would have some synergy on my fragment
but the need for LB on my ST is kinda destroying that plan.
Maybe I should crank up the mana cost on orb and get more CDR and trigger focus more often.
is the 3 second frequency affected by cooldown reduction?
I don't think so
Where did he go
It applies to any spell or fire damage, but not melee or void
Like other things in this game, the wording needs to match at least one of the tags of your skill
does anyone know what the range is for enchant weapon conflagurate? I feel like I'm not even far away and it does nothing sometimes
the tooltip just says nearby enemies
kaboom
meteor users
is 1k mana pool doable with vilatras dowbfall?
im using that, 1k is fine
more is clearly better but 1k is easily achieveable and decent
can you give me your build planner?
its bad atm so i woudlnt use it. also bout to import it.
all my res's have gone bad coz i made soe changes 😂
i just got an LP 4 alchemist's laddle, what can i do with it?
just need to know and confirm if you took all mana passives
and mana affixes
all i have are int and lightning damage affixes bexause my current buils is LB + FC sparkcharge
its a very good levelling unique and was good for torment warlock
mana passives yes. mana affixs not really. Unstable core chestplate is very very useful.
But its mainly passives + blessing + idols
so it's 💩
sad

man even at 900 mana my sorc feels squishy
I love the dmg output of lightning meteor 🤗
okay cant use unstable core yet, im still at lvl 73
but i have a lvl3 meteor armor
will use that for the meantime
i think lvl 3 meteor armour is bait. u prob want flat mana or somethin
appreciate it!
ayyyooo just got an orian's eye with high roll on mana, we are so back
does static orb need aoe?
yeah im hunting for mana affixes atm
im still at 300+ mana 🤮
filthy casual mana 🤣🤮🤮🤮
focus on that 1k mana. blessing + idols is the main things and youll need a mana chestplate till you can get an unstable core. Also get mana on gloves
Also the font of the erased rings, they can help early.
Yea I'm running it with 1k right now
depends u setup tho. If ur using the lightning meteor 2pc and harbringer of stars and phantom grips for crit. Youre kinda limited to what you can craft on
u cant roll mana on belt or rings
so the only thing ur missing is where ever that set gear goes
ring implicits and that erased ring can both help with early mana tho
and that lightning meteor sets gives mana on the staff
u can def hit 1k just crafting mana on everything
it just depends the items you have. many you cant craft on. hence the erased rings recommendation.
it still basically comes down to idols + blessings + chestplate
i did just get a nice roll 😊
u say that then use unstable when a exalted chest can get +4 meteor and flat
unstable can get +4 and flat too xd
personally id go either int or mana spent gained as ward over meteor levels.
meteor gains alot from levels
not really with lightning setup, u can grab all important nodes easily
ahh well im fire
i have no issues on dmg just cant survive
ive killed whats his face for strand of souls atleast 30 times no belt
this is with 23, the onyl extra nodes youll realy need is more crushing force, infernal descent or size if needed.
which arguably u can remove from rain of fire and rapi impacts for more size if needed
as you get more crit you can alos remove points from them for size of dmg
im prolly moving to new build ive had enough farming this boss for this silly belt
sorry tohear that, that was like my 4th fight
im using harbinger of stars this wole time ☠️
i dont like harbinger yoinks way to much mana randomely
yea for sure, is funny tho
i dunno so far im not impressed wiht meteor sorc my other gear is decent almost 1k mana average 4-5k ward just to get 1 shot all the time in standard empowered
get more mana and youll like stars more
im not gonna keep putting effort in when im already this geared and still get smashed this often in only 100 corruption
youre just getting to the entry point wdym geared
tbh even with 1100 mana stars is solid.
i dont think its better thans trands at any point
if ur dying with sorc that early ur missing something
res's, csa, cleanses, soemthing. ur missing it.
ur misunderstanding what im saying for my gear level i should not bet getting smashed in entry empowered
if ru build is bad u get smashed, simple as that
ya i might try shield bash fg i have the shield
Im at ~160 corruption with meteor, feels the same as no corruption did. Everything dies in 1 hit and I never die
ur in them too early or missing something.
ive levelled with sorc the whole time and had no issues
^ same
ive been meteor since i could use it and had a harbringer of stars the whole time. 0 issues
only time ive had issues is when i sit and try to face tank every boss mech like i used to on RM last cycle 🤣
heres my current character i was looking at a ring i can fix fire res with a diff ring https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AVkLOLXQ
thats a blank planner
honestly im running around with un capped res on 4of them and no csa and still doing fine at 200cor. so 🤷♂️
try it again i changed the link
get some transient rests
get this on ur wand
when i got my wand originally i didnt have the affix
put points in this
Transient rest will help alot with survival. Getting to the 1k mana breakpoint is also pretty massive
I'd opt for mana on the gloves until ur 1k capped comfortably
im getting close to 1k
i still shouldnt be having any issues in empowered with what i have imo
well dont listen to us and keep struggling ur way through then lol
After u channel focus to recover mana, u can just hold down teleport key for infinite haste+teleport buffs as the TP cooldown should be under 4 seconds.
never said i wasnt gonna change nothing im gonna grab that passive for sure, and cant use the boots or wand if i dont ahve them atm
and who knows. maybe self cast meteor is just bad for ward gen
ive been playing glacier static orb into coc meteor so cant say
but mage isnt the issue
i should just go glacier i have a nutty chest for it
hey guys, the frost claw build is still viable? what changed this cycle?
How are you supposed to regain mana in these "harbingers of stars" builds?
go negative and use focus
focus or mana strike or glacier or onhitmana, heaps of optiosn
I'm really enjoying Nalia's spark charge spellblade. I've killed 2 harby's and pushing into 200c hopefully it keeps up.
up to 130k meteor crits on boss, feels good
guys im trying to understand just to be sure, prodigy gives crit chance per 15 intel : 1% is that base crit or is it increased crit chance
prodigy gives base crit
oh i should hurry to that lol
it adds up with +5 melee crit chance on swords ?
also regarding crit, how much crit chance should i aim for? 100% 50% 75% ?
Trying to make ignite fireball work using enchant weapon to proc all of my ignites. Feels fine in 100 monos but idk how well it will scale with better gear
also as spellblade i ended up with the mage relic with t7 minion dmg(useless) t1 dmg while channel (useless) but t7 phys res which is capping me really hard, should i keep it or buy another? imo i buy another when i can but at the same time capping phys res is helpful
I can get to 300-400 ignite stacks in 4-5 seconds
what defensive options ahve people been using other than flame ward 🤔 for skills that is.
lightning aegis seems decent but annoyig to cast
my first time trying mage and im using the res and armour buffs in teleport and the armour during flame ward with barrier etc
Also, have you considered going the Lightning route instead of Fire? Doing the numbers now. It certainly sucks that they, for some reason, decided to make the last two nodes useless, but more damage on Shock may still work
should i be doing corrupted monolith at lvl 84, feel like im dying too much there
shouldnt have an issue if ur build is fine. otherwise can do normals if want
(or anyone else for that matter)
does this passive mean that you literally have to have 50 int on the dot for these stats to be doubled? or at least 50 int?
atleast 50
what doest that even mean, build is "fine", how can i get better gear if i cant do corrupted mono
because if ur build is perfect u wont have issues in empowered.
normals drop plenty of gear thats good enough
build also encompasses more than just gear. passive stats and idol slots and blessings and all that jazz matter aswell
🙏
do you guys think i should take the absolute zero node on shatter strike? i was told to get a lot of attack speed and all so im wondering if taking that one isnt actually good (more dmg less attack speed) otherwise i could take the mana efficiency one to get more casts in potentially
if it's about the spark charge variant, definitely don't take absolute zero.
Is lightning shatter strike better than conventional cold/melee damge ?
so many people asking about shatter strike lmao
i mean, spellbladeis finally decent after a pretty long time
nah just pure cold shatter strike
i mean sure but i wanted to be a special shatter strike spellblade but now everyone rolling it ❤️
idk about it i just kinda went in it blind but so far it feels good
time to find somethig new 😛
like meteor for example? 😉
what corruption u at?
at 250 and have like 2 needles and 3 gazes to use.
wow. how many hours u got on LE?
total? 200
whats a "Standard" flame rush setup peopl are doing?
I have and it looks like you need an absolutely massive mana pool to even reach parity with fire, and I'm not sure what to replace meteor synergy with. Might do it later, not inclined to respec into lightning right now
Right; I'm considering just ignoring these nodes (Laser Focus and Hyperfocal), and instead build towards Shock (Paralyze adds 6% more per Shock)
it's a guide on maxroll
anybody else having mana issues on single target on glacier sorc? I can't do bosses because I am constantly out of mana with 600 mana atm, running around like a headless chicken, can't kill harbingers
also I remembered where I saw it, the curse on youtube theorycrafted lightning disintegrate and even he assumed that to edge out fire he had to be over 3k max mana, while also maintaining 200% spell crit generally for ignivar's. That looked completely unreasonable to me with any level of realistic gear
you need more mana, single target sustain is one big issue with this build unfortunately
never thought I would have mana issues as a mana stacker 😄 but okay thanks
so at least 1k mana is the next milestone to proc 3x bonus from Archmage I guess
yes, i have 1.6k mana, still go oom against harby
make sure to get mana well if u can
dont know how to fix, most of the time against harby i have to kite while waiting for mana to regen
got this specced already I am lvl 86
generally builds grab ice barrage i think
what is that for?
I have ice barrage too but it's dmg is nowhere near glacier
just single target damage
Any electric runemaster builds decent?
Is Frostclaw Sorc actually stronger than Glacier Sorc? Seen a lot of it up in the ladders
how about for idols?
get mana if needed. throne of ambition is also great depending ur build. rest can be res's or dmg as needed.
ok. only thing I dont have is vilatras crown but everything else is good to go, however only 1-2 LPs
yea im sittin on several things with lp but wantin an omni before i smash them 🤔
ok I've set it up now, question, you removed 1 point in always crit when above 400 mana?
yea its a bait node. dont do it, just get the crit chance you need
do you need 1k mana to be able to sustain for bosses have the damage but running out of mana to complete it
some need more than 1k
so whats the feeling this time around for subclass?
sorc is busted fun
RM got nerves it needed and is beig overshadowed
spelblade is playable for the first time in awhile
anyone of you free to help me teleport to observatory?
can someone link a good sorc disintegrate build ?
anyone lacking movespeed? im lvl 92, Frost claw sorc, doing 200-300 corrupt, but my movespeed is like 20% and 5.3 sec teleport cooldown
any advice, or is it only the 1LP boots (with 30% movespeed roll)?
blood of the exile can help with that for upto 40%, also adding forms of cool down reduc for teleport cd. using evade, and getting evade cooldown. then just stack ms
Anyone have any luck with static builds?
is it possible to sustain the mana cost of frost claw with all the extra cast stuff
like or is this gonna just drain all my mana instantly
How much does it cost to cast?
12 base mana cost
dammit i just accidentally closed the planner tab
uh about 48.4 mana per cast
and you get three extra casts from the tree
so 193.6 per cast ignoring stuff like ice barrage and nova
this is before items or anything
You can get -5 mana cost from a wand, that helps quite a bit. Can probably get regen close to 40. So if don't stack cast speed, it could be self sustained
I play with Claw costing 42 mana and regen with teleport+meteor.
Anybody knows the tree for tundra nova skill in frosbite frost claw build. I managed to get ideal staff and in maxroll guide it says to make a switch but which skill i need to replace for it?
someone try playing mana strike with this new sword? Yrun's Penance?
I only tried while levelling but i don't see how mana strike is ever going to outperform shatter strike
I think i will eventually go yrun with lp for shatter strike though
i think the only viable mana strike build is with eviscerating dragoraths claw
Hey im following the maxroll Frostclaw sorc guide, starting to struggle quite alot on harbinger bosses at 250ish corruption, am i missing something obvious?, i have plans to upgrade my uniques with lp once i reach rank 9 but other than that im not sure what i can do currently, have 1m gold to spend https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QWzy1RLA

is there a shatterstrike spellblade endgame build around here?
What's best sorcerer build rn? My mana stacker kinda feels meh at 500c already. Any recommendations? Is frost law sick still?
is the nova frostclaw runemaster still doing tons of damage?
wow really unexpected
hi, i heard Glacier Sorc and Frostbite Frost Claw Sorc are great choices this Cycle. Both looks fun to play in gameplay videos. But i read in some youtube commants they have hugh mana problems until proper end gear. Someone even said Emporer Monilith Bosses take like 15 minute to kill which basic gear because of the mana problems. Are they really so bad without endgame gear?
They for sure lack single target damage compared to other builds
anyone else having connectivity issue today?
u cant have it all l, glacier sorc is a decent all around build tho
Alright let me stop you right there. There are glacier nodes that you should take before you have your mana build rolling. And nah it's totally fine single target as long as you're grinding out gear to get a bigger mana pool. I am blasting through boss wards in seconds at most with arcane ascendant and spamming glacier. Well, I was, until I got a larger mana pool so Glacier sustains itself with the 1% max mana on crit.
In fact, Arcane ascendant is there exactly for the tougher enemies, where the cast speed increases over time from it also loop back into more glacier casts, which proc more mana returns, which loop back into longer arcane ascendant duration (And therefore increasing its damage and cast speed further... you get the point)
Before you have the gear to make it into an almost (or entirely in super late game) endless feedback loop, you focus on the top nodes of glacier and the middle explosion multipliers. This solves practically all mana issues until the time comes where you move on to the third explosion build. Even in early empowered monoliths, the medium explosion build kills bosses in under ten seconds with mediocre gear.
Can you even survive running chronostasis? Do you have to run endurance?
You can absolutely survive running chronostasis; You'd need a build that relies on health + leech (such as avarice gloves) and/or have a mana build with mana strike or (glacier with extreme max mana (3000-3500)) with damage to mana nodes. You can get extreme values that way. The problem is that Chronostasis just doesn't offer the damage that other weapons do.
does minds shield focus node work with null infusion and profusion nodes?
hello, was wondering if fireball machinegun with auto meteor is still a thing or theres changes that make it harder to use?
its less good now due to sorc passive being important, but it works
you need double ornate idols with efficiency on frost claw, minimum 13% on both, and you need -5 spell cost on wand or t7 spell cost reduction on scepter
Nothing indicates to me that it wouldn't work but haven't tested in practice, no.
Could someone take a look at my build? not sure what to do
I swear there was a unique that converted mana strike to fire.
I feel like I am wrong and just dreamt it up. Am I wrong?
there is one that does ti to cold
Thanks!
https://www.lastepochtools.com/skills/mana_strike/sources
Learn to use this database like that and you'll have a really good time coming up with all sorts of cool builds while making sure you don't overlook anything
And yeah, that confirms there's only cold conversion from other sources.
Didn't know you could use the database like that. That's pretty advanced and cool.
Thanks for the help tsp
is mana strike the best endgame sorc build this season?
i levled up using glacier but kinda wanna start shifting to something else
mana strike? no
any thoughts? i see a tonnnn of builds on maxroll... not even sure if Last epoch tools or maxroll is the more up-to-date or trustworthy of the 2
tbh, just play whatever looks fun
Shatter build is about as good as it gets for mana strike based builds but it's quite janky in that you have those DPS downtimes because you need to use mana strike to get mana returned, then proc all your spark shards with shatter until you're OOM.
I hear there are some issues with disintegrate if you stutter step right now, but if they decide to fix it this season, it could be #1 build for sorcs.
yeah.. i've tried the "play whats fun" and then cant go over 100 corruption while some people doing 800 corruption with other builds lol
ur build wuold have to be so insanely bad to not pass 100corr that its probs a skill issue
Well I think pretty much any skill "mained" can be turned into ~300 corr if you work hard enough for it, but yeah there are many "F tier builds" and about two dozen builds across the classes that go over the 300 corr mark. Not counting of course, variations of those.
Edit: Of course not talking about "But spamming only focus or rebuke doesn't deal any damage".
Yeah, quickly looking over all the sorcerer skills, I can absolutely make any of those damage skills work for 300 corr. Just need to synergize a bit here and there for some of the really low performing skills.
I 1:1d you to avoid slowmode TSP
i think even a blackhole build could do 300corr, and that skill sucks as a main skill
anyone could help me know what to craft on a really good nemesis item i found
(sealed t4 res, t5 res, t3 res, t7 int open prefix)
im considering dex becaues shatter strike scales with it but also wondering if maybe i want crit but idk
it all depends ur build
whats the item, what are u lacking on ur build, if ur lacking nothing defensively what are ur best dmg options, can you get utility, etc.
its a rare elemental crit chance multiplier mage relic and im spellblade shatter strike
and yeah part of me wants the +1 all skills relic but at the same time all that res is really good yknow
is the random coocktail runemaster with runebolt and max elemental damage viable ?
Should I go sorc or runemaster for a disintegrate build
you literally cannot stand still for a second against harby
some u can but its rough
i have betrayed my original plan to go full meteor and resorted to meta static orb
i hve both 😛
it's so stupidly strong at high investment, not even fair
I will make fireball ignite work copium
so far shatter strike is deleting stuff
im just out here cosplaying zeus
So im rocking disintegrate for dps, teleport for mobility, flame ward for more ward and snap freeze for... freezing. Any ideas for 5th skill slot?
but im not in empowered yet
arcane ascendance for dps
ooh i like that
did they change how long it takes for a skill to reach lvl 20
what are these harbingers man.... overtuned?
in empowered I can kill a boss in 5 sec spamming meteor and for harbi I spend 1500 mana and they are like "oh nice, you took 25% of my hp, gj"
have u tried more meteors
more meteors do infact work, i can confirm
I dont have the ward gloves and twisted heart and I just barely killed empowered harbi
so I guess I should just farm these items in normal If they even drop there
i do really dislike orobyss' ice form man..
Maaan why do "Energy Overflow" and "Conveyance" in the Focus Skill cancel each other out :(
levelled a mage with exactly that in mind, now at level 53 I started to READ and realized they cant go with each other
i'm stupid, it CANT work lol like literally cant
It do be like that sometimes
am i wrong to think that twisted heart isnt bis for every build lol
no you're not
does endurance matter / important for mana stacking build
okay phew
not until you have Seed
is it normal its taking AGES im doing lvl 80 area rn
and im lvl 72
they have caps based on level. idk what they are but that might be it
ahh okay, also is there a way to stop it from being annoying when i remove a +1 mage spell relic to try another (rolling the weavers will over n over QQ) it removes a random skill point everytime
it becomes significantly less annoying once you are high enough level, it takes like 2 monos to respec from zero to 20
the min level stuff is honestly insane qol
You mean 2 empowered monos?
no, at around 80+, your skills will get boosted exp if below lvl 20, so it's freebie to respec
ended up with the mage relic for +1 skills with volcanic orb t7, does anyone use that lol
anyone running disintegrate this cyclle
Seems like people tried, realized it's still garbage, and swapped to a different build
Mana stacker meteor feels meh, any other sorc build worth trying this cycle?
meteor my beloved 😭
I mean it kinda of works but somehow feels meh, might be just me tho
ngl, its for sure you
but ifuw ant diff builds, frost claw, glacier, static orb, all work
meteor is good for clearing, but for single target you need static orb
just pivot it a bit
I am trying to see if I can make fireball ignite work but it's not gonna touch any of the meta builds that's for sure xd
Hmh
im still just using lightning meteors lmao
these r too fun
I think my main issue atm is survivability. I have plenty of damage
thats always the game
I'm waiting for a godly exalted chest before slamming it into my 3lp lowlife chest
every single lego i have created this cycle has been mediocre at best. kinda depressing
It do be like that. I have an insane exalted wand atm that I don't want to put into anything. Give me a 4 lp cinder song pls
Kinda cracked for an ignite build
i am currently just hunting a omni so i can finalize my defensive stats 🥲
I randomly got a 3lp lowlife chest from a normal end of mono chest so I feel pigeon holed into going a lowlife build lol. Time to farm out the boots
wonder how that will play out with the ward changes
maintaining 5k+ ward still feels pretty easy
Waiting for a double hp chest with ideally t7 hp% before slamming it
Prob still pretty good tbh
The boots might be an issue tho. We'll see
can someone explain to me how unvar's exile work? is it a seperate bucket multiplier?
man i love my build so much, i DELETE bosses holy crap
mana strike, flame ward enchant weapon and 1-2 rotations (mana pool empty mana pool full) of shatter strike and even dungeon bosses are dead
yay, another unstable core 1lp. surely it wont roll dex again
i failed 3 of them so far
the flat stats on the new are already better than my old so no matter what happens its an inrease
Thanks for the explain and the details.
have to do t4 julra for the chestplate ☠️
is orbital fulmination+storm burst a good combination of nodes or does it make it so that the orbs circling you detonate (near) immediately? (Storm Orb) trying to figure out ways to squeeze in some extra damage
Probably dumb question - I’m playing shatter strike spellblade, just following a guide. I’ve looked at maxroll and LE tools, both sites show dragorath’s as the weapon but don’t mention anything about speccing frost claw for the auto procs.
So I guess my question is, does it make sense to despecialize enchant weapon to spec frost claw for dragorath procs?
How do you deal with going oom on boss fights as glacier sorc? I am at 1k+ mana but I still go oom
dam i just rinsed t4 julra, lmao
Don't use the Spark charge on 40 mana spell passive node if you are playing CoC Meteor. Spark Charges can proc Meteor and will obliterate your mana.
any mana stacking mages make it to high cr? not sure how im goign to survive yet lol.
been several at 500+ i believe. depending what u call high
my 20k ehp guy can't survive some of them harbies/lagon splash in baseline emps still xD 8k ward poofs in an eyeblink
anyone knows how to fix FPS drop when in Arena maps?
yeah it's so dumb that they have us fight harby in the tiny ass arena
i didnt actually think it was that bad
herot harby on the other hand
so happy i did herots at 100corr, coz i doubt i could do it at 300 lmao
did it at 175, haven't noticed the difference really, the lagon one tho :/ lost muh Deathless tag to it
if any one leaves lagon to last and have to fight harby at 300 corruption, it's unironically over
maybe i got lucky or something. i found the 150 lagoon harder than the harby haha
i was about to ask if theres a way to boost more defenses on spellblade because harbs one shot me all the time but it looks like everyone else is struggling lol
my druid starts to feel allright, but that thing is zdps as far as it compares to mage tho :D got some nice stuff waiting for him at 86+lvl, gonna be at like 4100hp and 2200 endurance threshold
so I've picked up the node on mana strike that makes it cast lightning on hit, does it benefit from the lightning blast skill tree too? or are they different skills?
does it cast lightning blast or just add lightning tag
the maxroll guide for glacier sorc tells me to use scales of eterra catalyst, but the downsides is harsh, is there any ways to mitigate it?
ahh sorry it casts "mana arc"
not a skill so it wont i herit the nodes from something like lightning blast. when u hold alt it generally specifies
Hey guys, does 'Frostbite' scales with 'Damage over time' as well as 'Elemental damage over time'?
PS. Frostclaw ele nova sorc build
Question cause I am about to do this:
it's not lightning blast, it does inherit the crit nodes on the mana strike tree
hmm
yup, understood thanks
delete this

Shouldnt i be freezing mobs a lot with Freeze rate at 1k+?
i just got a giga t7 wand with perfect base, and it bricked...

alright so i'm currently playing a mana strike build and i changed it to cold with the frigid grasp talent. However, it feels like it doesn't actually works with cold melee damage +'s (from infused weapon for example). I suppose this isn't intentional?
hmm i wonder if scale of eterra has a place for boss bursts 🤔
when u dash with 2x stardials, do stats on both get tripled?
yes
nice cool
im kinda lost tbh, been using maxroll guide for glacier so far but decided to switch as it wasnt doing well enough anymore, doing better, but kinda confused because theres like 25 different build guides for manastack/glacier sorc and idfk which one is good or not, so far ive tried 3 and 1 was okay 2 were garbage (i don't have good uniques so that's certainly why)
i need to setup my filter and go blast but i need to know what i want for that first, besides mana obv, anyone can help regarding that ?
mana, res's, crit stuff. thats ur main 3. get some int, csa, all that jazz as extras
saying specifically glacier because i got lucky with +cold dmg so ive got like 250% cold for now
nutty damage is there an interaction im not seeing or is that just orb doing orb things
just orb ting
here i go startin a sorc again
there should be a disclaimer :D *susceptible to instagibs if you don't instagib fast enough
i can live with that lol
do I keep farming for my throne of ambition or knock out my empowered blessings first? so far 5 kills in going for throne and no luck :/
it's kinda important for my build
throne isnt too rare and isnt impacted by rolls. so throne first imo
its decently survivable, my gear is ass tho lol
I don't understand how you're getting so much ward if your gear is ass. what build is this?
how much % do u have taken as mana? and/or Orians eye? got similar pool and randomly get gibbed if I don't have a target to hit with
its mainly mana spent gained as ward by the looks
^ and glacier passives
both stardials give a lot and then triple on dash
ill be doing the same once i can roll some int into then and hopefully stack it with strand of souls 😂
i heard dmg taken as mana only applies to when they actually hit ur health pool so i dont have any
yh this is kinda counter intuitive :D think of whether I need it for survivability after all or nah, my hp pool is slightly thicker, I'm at like 1600hp
my goal is just to never let my hp bar take damage lol
anyone know how lightning aegis and flame ward DR interact? is it just highest amount takes prio? or?
Is glacier build the top softcore build right now?
is there difference in nemesis (like low or high corruption) / if it can give higher chance for LP or so
I have a strong feeling there is. Might be my cooked brain wanting to find an excuse going higher, feels like I get more 2-3lps there :D
yeah at low corr sometime it doesn't even give LP after empowerment
im new to this and im lvling with glacier is this endgame or is meteor build better?
Anyone help me with lame empowered mono I need the blessing for resistance.
any mana stacking build ?
Yes. It's kinda the meta atm
im using glacier, do alot dmg but i saw something with meteor and static orb
where i can find a video guide or planner?
is this any good
If you're using orb yeah
how do you guys get flat fire dmg ?
your wand/staff give adaptive flat damage
anyone know how warder-passive works with tri-elemental skills?
like if i have crest of unity with ele nova
i'm struggling to sustain enough ward after the patch on my frostbite sorc even though i have quite good gear
Kinda tempted to try swapping from fireball to volcanic orb. I wonder if you could make a mana stacking build work with that
Anyone tested the ice barrage silence node? Think I broke time with it.
🤌
Why do you use this amulet when you don't use any fire / necrotic / void damage ? Am I missing something ?
Does the Sorcerer 1% more damage per 2 mana cost, work for channeled spells?
is Celestial Doom worth rerolling a sorc or runemaster? or am i going to get to level 70 and be disappointed
he has necrotic dmg on wand, edit: and that amulet just gives alot of flat dmg.
its just base spell damage and scales all ur other damage
i have been trying to farm t7 mana on relic all night, where is it 😭
they dont exist
no they do, im just malding about the fact that im 96 and havent found anything better than that
Lmao
oh
has anyone seen this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-661SSHU3E0 ?
what is causing the meteors and why does he skill focus while not using it?
I know meteor is just the better option but I wonder how viable mana stacking volatile orb is
the belt
and hes clearly using focus lol
thanks bois
where does his crit chance come from? it's only like 50% in planner?
that is very weird to me but ok. So if you use static orb, it uses that flat dmg in the formula. What happens with pen ? Do you only need lightning pen or you actually need necrotic pen too for the "necro flat dmg" part ?
that build fits very well the term "blasting"
dunno. dont have pen anywhere xd
I just cant play this build, my mana runs low so fast wtf
this one
3 of my meteor skills keep being undone and points removed, why? fix?
you most likely unequip an item that gives you skill points
could you please share your build?
that was not a build, just tested the ice barrage speed nodes with spark triggers and time stopped
Can someone explain me whether i am right or not? For example I have 1000 health, 1000 mana, 1000 ward, 100% of damage dealt to mana before health, 50% armor, 50% endurance and i take 10k damage. Firstly this damage is reduced by 1000 using my ward, then it is reduced by 5000 by my mana. And only after this reductions armor and endurance are applied — -50% of 4000 and then -50% of 2000 left, so i will get 1000 damage.
P.S. Sorry for my bad English, it took me about 15 minutes to write this text 😦
Your English is perfectly fine 🙂 more understandable than some native speakers
I believe damage reduction from armor and resistances, generic damage reduction, and block applies before any damage is dealt to you, no matter if its ward, health, or mana. The only one that is different is Endurance because it only protects a portion of your health.
So if you take 5000 damage, you'd first reduce it by your armor value, THEN go on to your other calculations.
Dont you dare sell it!
"I believe"? So this is just a guess yet?
Its a fairly confident guess, because otherwise stacking any armor on a ward build would be worthless and thats just not the case.
I just havent specifically done the testing to make sure.
DR is also multiplicative as well. Before Ward, HP, and MbH, you're looking at 50% DR above endurance thresholed (armor) and 75% DR below endurance threshold(50% armor + 50% endurance). If full hp, then it's DR'd 5k for Armor, then goes through your mana (so -1k), ward (-1k), then HP to threshold (say threshold is 500, so you'd take 500(-500), then 1875 to what's left (that's 2500 leftover * 0.75). So a 10k hit would be down to 1,875.
That's if it's physical, obviously.
Frostbite Frostclaw vs Spark Charge Frostclaw, which is better
ugh, just got to empowered monoliths and disintigrates starting to feel bad
But in this case after armor reduction 5000 damage left. So with 100% damage delt to mana and 1 mana = 5 health all this damage will be reduced by 5000 using my 1000 mana, am i wrong?
You can't take 5000 damage to 1000 mana. That'd be -4000 mana. Why would 1 mana = 5 health?
That was the formula in the previous cycle, wasn't it?
If this is considered 1 to 1, then 1000 mana will essentially be the same as 1000 ward, so it will be useless
what's new and popping in mage land
Mana. Lots and lots of mana
Not really. Ward takes damage before life does. So it'd go through your mana, then your ward, then life. Seems to me to just be a bigger health pool. I can't find anything saying it isn't 1 to 1 though, and can't fathom why it would be anything other than 1 to 1. If you can provide a link to the 5 to 1 formula, that'd be helpful.
i do keep seeing lots of mana
I'
EHP calculator is also super helpful : https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/ehp
I'm almost at 150corruption and its meteors is not doing that great, starting to die instantly and my gear is not that bad, is glacier/static orb any better?
Yes
What's the shape of SpellBlade actually ?
By the way, there were answers to my questions here 🙂
Is there an advantage to spread your damage into multiple damage types, or is it better focus on a single element?
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/resources/defenses-explained atleast on maxroll it says it is 1 mana for 5 health
Can i get a build guide for glacier/orb, so many not sure which is legit?
What is area for area skills
can somebody hep me kill Empowered blac k sun boos with the harbinger also
Neat. Guess ya learn something new every day. I shall adjust my thought process and apologies for being incorrect (too used to how other games do it I guess).
Interesting. So mana stacking is even better than I thought
Why is glacier FOTM?
Hello everyone. i don't get, why marina's soul ward boost my glacier damage so much? I thaught that added necrotic damage will work only with necrotic spells.
anyone using static orb and glacier in late game? or should i choose one to focus on
probably yes
I am using this. Static orb for burst dps, glacier for mobs
yea ive been loving the synergy in that respect
im really regretting going disintigrate now that im in empowered monos. feels so bad
Yeeeah. It's very underwhelming
Any type of added spell damage applies to all spells. Whether that's good or not depends on how you are boosting your damage.
is lightning blast / raiden / palpatine any gucci?
on the update when they made it show correct on the 1% up to 50% which passive is that called for sorc
oh nvm im dumb i see
im debating re rolling. disintigrate was a bust and i dont feel like doing frost claw for another seasonj as a runemaster
i hear you bro, dis started to fall off hard for me, happy with sorc for now
what would you reroll into?
either warlock/sorc/ or some other caster
Whay is the glacier build so popular now?
uive heard good things about warlock so ill prolly reroll one of those
Anyone know if this node in Frost Claw is per direct cast or also including recasts
Is Frost claw freeze rate converted when you convert it to lightning/ fire?
it just says frostbite chance to shock
I assumed the freeze rate stat just stays as is, but doesn't do anything after conversion. Conversion in this game is kinda wonky sometimes 😂
I believe it loses its base freeze rate, so it won't freeze anything. But your freeze rate multi is agnostic of the ability's actual base freeze rate. So you can still generate ward with freeze rate multi
From the in game guide, damage to mana is 5:1 ratio
Hey all,
I’m running a self made Shatter Strike / Cold Spellblade build.
Any free advice? I’m cleaving through early monos now and gearing up slowly.
Just tested, went frame by frame, tested with and without the +600% global freeze rate in teleport. Confirmed it does work with bounces too. 3rd bounce gave 61 ward with the +600% freeze rate and 32 without the node.
HUGE boost to FC ward gen
it works with global FRM right?. Not just FC's FRM
correct
the wording from the node is a little bit confusing
Yeah I wasn't sure so went frame by frame testing with and without global FRM
this synergy is nuts
nice. Save me some time now i dont need to test it
yeah i'm trying to make a frostbite FC. I think ppl already done it before right?
think frostbite Claw is sort of the default way to build it. very good though
Does any1 know how to not go oom on bosses as glacier sorc with 1k+ mana?
It seems like I cant hit enough targets on single target for me to regain mana, constantly oom and just waiting for the boss to kill me
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AK0MEYGQ and here i am struggling to get 6k ward against bosses with this build.. i feel like retention is the king from now on for ward builds

teleport free spell + meteor aftermath for lots of mana regen. or Focus
oh wait, doesn't Glacier have its own mana refund?
1% of max mana on crit
Best option Ive found, until you get your mana pool high enough (around 600), is to just dodge duck dip dive and dodge to get a bunch of mana back then find a window to pop ice barrage for buff and dump everything with arcance ascendance active.
As you get higher overall mana and 100% crit on glacier, youll refund the full mana cost of glacier plus extra every time
I think you quoted wrong person lol
I just realized that! My mistake
stack more mana, glacier will sustain itself
you can put point into Static Collapse when bossing. Glacier shouldn't be your single target DPS anyway
At 1k mana if hes critcapped he should get 30 mana each cast
you won't hit shade with all 3 explosion tho
Oh, I was automatically thinking of aberroth
Does that mean I am at 60% crit for glacier?
I thinks his hitbox is big enough to hit all 3?
I just use focus to regen my pool, but I also take the nodes that make focus do a damage nova based on your max mana. It crits about as hard as meteors do.
even vs abby it's not consistent enough i think
just save yourself and put point into static collapse, and use either meteor or static orb for actual DPS
Does mage have any summoning skills that arent completely terrible? I got 2 of the elemental bees / 10 seconds idols and cant figure out what to do with them
Is there actually a way to see whether or not I have 100% crit chance for glacier?
is anyone here playing exp ground sorc?
It used to be the meta before Nova, but I think it might be a bit hard to make it work now with the mana changes, not sure. The nova setup can drop volley of glass and still apply most of the Spark Charges and not lose much DPS but frostbite needs the shotgun of FC itself to apply a lot of stacks
Mage doesn't really have any minions, no
Aw lame I was hoping there was something there
Long ago before RM came out, there was talk of it being a golem-focused specialization. Maybe someday in the future if we get new specializations, there'll be a mage summoner that focuses on elemental minions or something.
I think the key would be that they'd want it to act substantially differently than primalist or acolyte minions, so there's a meaningful distinction in gameplay style
There was a very good version of frostbite FC that didn't use the recasts and went for zero mana cost, that version should still be almost identical
yea it seems like a missed opportunity, now knowing the Reowyn's Veil works on recasts and it already stacks freeze rate multi - that like hundreds of ward per cast lost
Will be curious to see what you think. I'm still running the lightining version, but may switch to the frost version
Actually I just remembered that was way back before a lot of RM defense nerfs so idk
FINALLYYYY
would have to test how many hits you lose/gain by trading bounces / malice auto target tech vs volley of glass
looking for people to play with im in end game and new to game
WTB lightning-flavored throne of ambition 😢 I just like all the lightning skills
I got it and decided to try volcanic orb since I got that unique relic for orb too
Feels hard to get any actual ignite stacks with it
reowyns has no dr now right?
oh wow aberrath has like 6 breakpoints, but he stops attacking for a briefmoment every 25% breakpoint so we just need to hit the breakpoints and it's free to use focus
You need to get idols to reduce it's speed so you can put the orbs inside bosses. Then the shrapnel things can all shotgun
Interesting I'll look into it ty
Is it worth going for ignite with orb or nah? I was ignite fireball which I was able to get a good 400+ stacks on pretty easily. With this I feel like I barely get over 100. My gear is also kinda botched atm
any 500+ corruption sorc builds people are really enjoying?
im super struggling with glacier right now.. following the maxroll guide to a T, and cant even get the 3rd harb down.
glacier is not a main damaging skill, you just use it to maintain mana in maps.
Focus on dodging mechanics more than dpsing for a couple fights
which guide are you talking about?
lizzards
im using mana stack static orb glacier but i havent transitioned to a meteor version yet
you have a planner you using for it>
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A2PyV0lB mine is also very generic

how much do you think is optimal to transition to cast on crit?
I feel like that build is absolute poooooop against bosses.
same. its awesome for mapping. im just struggle bussing hard on bosses
just need to get better gears to insta gib bosses
anyone got a more relaxed loot filter for glacier sorc?
