When press Alt in passive Harvested Legion of Lich, it incorrectly displayed this instead of Skeleton Vanguard skill:

I can't do a screenshot, but on the unique item Marina's Lost Soul it says 10% Reduced Health, but when you hold Alt key, it says "Increases your maximum health"
This is a known one I suppose but the fact that both "armor" and "armour" can be found in the game is very annoying. If you type "armor" to search for affixes though you do find both the ones spelled with "armor" and "armour", but if you type "armour" you only find the ones spelled with "armour" and not "armor". I should add that you could choose to stick with one of the two, either American or British spelling, but then allow searches with both.
Set items don't say which set the item belongs to or what the other items in the set are in the tooltip.
Yes, the devs are aware of the different spellings & will tidy it up at some point. In the mean time, if you search for "armo" then you'll catch all instances.
The space in front "cannot be a unique or set item." is bothering me. It doesn't line with rest of the stuff
Currently holding ALT displays item roll information and ALT + CTRL displays mod explanation. It should be the other way around.

The tooltip of Scatter Blast is misleading. First off, the orbs are not fired "in a cone", they are fired along two parabolic trajectories to the left and right of the main linear skill shot. If you put 4 points in it, then the four orbs you get still get fired along the same two trajectories in two waves of two. It doesn't increase the angle or area coverage or anything. Then, it should probably be mentioned somewhere that they are always aimed at your initial ground target, because their behavior becomes inconsistent when you take other nodes in the tree like the one that causes the orb to explode on collision. On top of that, due to this behavior the width of their AOE depends on the proximity of the ground target to your character, which the tooltip doesn't even hint at.
yep, if it is less modifier, then it means the ailment effectiveness affix should be able to change it. But if it's fixed at 2% then that's sad.
Skillfull should be skillful (american) or skilful (everywhere else), hover-over text in character sheet
the word "hits" is misleading in Scintillant Steel because it gives generic damage that works on DoTs
Guide screen on Penetration should probably be more specific what types of damage it affects, some people have assumption from other games that Penetration only works for hits

otherwise you'd end up taking stuff like Into the Depths and Abyssal Walker to scale Ravaging Aura's damage, and those are on the melee damage/crit branch
I tested Entropic Blows node and it does not increase the damage of Ravaging Aura. It is applying more melee damage per time rot not genetic more damage.

@minor breach Volatile Reversal, "Incipient Void Rift" and "Terminal Void Rift" nodes - one has Alt text for Void Rift, one has the text in the passive tooltip.

It it just me or the right wording should "over capped", because everytime i see in RPG game word "uncapped" it means resist lower than cap, while over cap is resist above cap limit and this item works for over capped resist number
Im dumb, i didnt check ward retention before and after equipping the item, it takes whole resist number, not just over 75%
It is just clarifying there is no cap and it is simply based on raw resistance. so if you had 20% cold res its 20% ward retention. if you had 150% cold resistance, its 150%.

The buff for Aspect of the Lynx is incorrect when you mouse over it.
The node Embrace the Darkness of Abyssal Echoes states you must "directly use Abyssal Echoes" to trigger it but it is applied when using Void Cleave with Resonating Cleave node. According to Mike W this doesn't count as a "direct use" of Abyssal Echoes so the tooltip should be updated to not say "directly use" on Embrace the Darkness.
This is also true of Perfect Setup and Sacred Forge on Javelin when used with Lunge via Pilum Assault
The buff falls off after 3s of not HITTING with Puncture, not 3s of not attacking.
The tooltip for static needs a rewrite. 'Static charges as you move and when receiving hits. Activate static to discharge, striking up to 5 nearby enemies with lightning'

You can't transfer items between solo & non-solo (or HC/SC). Though if you convert a solo character to a non-solo character then anything in the character's inventory will be moved but you'll loose the solo stash.
There's a reason why it's called solo.

It's not a single ailment of Resistance Shred. Each resistance type is affected by a separate shred effect which can be modified by things like increased fire shred effect. If something inflicts Resistance Shred, it would be coded as 7 separate ailments, one shred for each type.
I know and understand it, it's just the wording that made it confusing at first.

The boots "Halvar's Stand" cannot be searched for in the stash with "Halvar's" or "Halvar's stand". "Halvar" works though. Note that for the staff "Halvar's Pledge" everything works as intended.

This is exceptionally misleading. Not only does it VERY MUCH read like it gives you more than 3 maximum babies, by using the word "additional", but the maximum number of baby scorpions we can have is listed exactly nowhere. You might think it would be 3, which it is, because of the Maternal Instinct node that summons them, but that node doesn't say anything about a maximum number of babies whatsoever and itself sounds as if these are infinite minions with very low health. It takes precisely 41 seconds to learn by ones self that this cap is 3. By using the word "additional" in this pictured node, anyone would realistically look at it and think "3 more babies" - This node should most certainly read something like "Activating your Scorpions companion ability also summons Baby Scorpions." - or just make it give us 3 more. Real Scorpions can have like, 50-100 babies you guys. 6 isn't out of the question, especially considering my 60 locusts.

Surge is never a spell, this node basically is made for reinforcing lightning blast it proccs
but lightning blast is a skill can be set on bar
so it breaks the rule that skills procced from other skills don't inherit the nodes

This text in the Loot Filter should show up with the user filters for "Shared". It currently does not.
this node in Dread Shade says "summon a Volatile Zombie". It actually uses all of the Volatile Zombie skill specialization, which means it can summon multiple VZombies (up to 5, without paying the mana cost).
This node should instead specify that it uses the skill spec for VZombies. "Uses the skill tree", "skips mana cost", "casts VZombie", something like that
If it's summoning all of the Zombies that you would get if you manually cast Zombie, that sounds like a

That's correct, or rather it's not incorrect. "attack" is technically not a tag. It couldn't be "melee" and "spell".
But since attack and spell isn't something we normally put together, this should just say "Thorn Totem deals more spell damage".

i feel that the wording on the ability Dark Retribution where is says โSkeleton Vanguard on kill chance: 5%โ is wrong and misleading since it does not summon a Vanguard on kill but on minion death and should be worded as the ability Mark of Punishment which states โchance to mark nearby enemy on minion death: 10%โ
I suggest Dark Retribution text change to โChance to summon Skeleton Vanguard on minion death: 5% per pointโ

I think the damage tooltip issue has been discussed on the forums, but I'd like to point out to Acolyte's "plague". Some skills (spirit plague, Aura of decay) have passive that grant a chance to apply the Plague DoT effect. However, I haven't found a way to see how much DPS I'm getting out of Plague. Picking the skill doesn't change the main ability tooltip DPS.
I've run into similar issue with abilities that grant "damned" (death seal, soul feast) . Yes I know the base damage, but not what the actual DPS is once all my increases are applied.
Plague is 1 stack of poison which can't stack but spreads to other mobs. So the damage you get from it is the damage you get from 1 stack of poison.
Viscera buff tooltip could use an update.
Holy Aura, text says endurance threshold, but the amount and actual benefit given is endurance
damn, that's a let down. My understanding was that poison was a mechanic based on stacking it as much as possible, so the increased damage is probably minimal. Given how Aura of Decay inflict 20+ poison stack, I think I'm going to spec out of that passive
Yeah, poison is, but the "variants" of poison/ignite (plague & spreading flames) are restricted to 1 stack but spread after X seconds (or on death of the target).

Is this true? That the cull is not always 15, but based on distance? How do you know this as it is nowhere stated?
- By testing it. If you stand in the face of a mob and use lunge, it will not be culled. If you stand further away, it will.

Aimed Shot from the Detonating Arrow specialization says 2 seconds charge time in the text, but 1 second charge time in the numbers
Cursed Ground from the Bone Curse Tree does not say that it's incompatible with Oppresive Gaze (single target cursed ground with no duration). Assuming that's missed in the tooltip rather than a bug.

Newly created characters have a minimum specialized level of 13 on all skills for some reason.
Rhythm (dancing strikes) tooltip says you deal more damage, should be increased
Dark Passage (Synchronized Strike spec) refers to itself despite not actually creating any shadows. Assuming it is supposed to refer to Retreat into Shadow.
Umbral Execution (Synchronized Strike spec) has a crit-related icon instead of one used for culling strike type effects.
Bloodthirst (Puncture spec) says the stacks fall off after 3 seconds of not attacking - should say after 3 seconds of not attacking with puncture - using other attacks does not keep them up.
Not sure the devs use particular types of icons for particular types of nodes.
This might be intentional, but it feels like the "increased critical strike chance for you and your minions" affix should follow the standard of the others and be called "shared increased critical strike chance"

Still in the Rip Blood tree, the sentence about multiple blood splatters being able to hit the original enemy is present in "Eviscerate" but not in "Splatter", even though they both have an extended tooltip about blood splatter

there's inconsistent usage of armor and armour in the loot filter, most notably between sentinel idol and general idol
also, the tooltip for Ring of Shield's Phalanx node is ambiguous: When Shields heal allies, they also increase their armor for 4 seconds - the their could refer to the shields, or allies, or both. if it's for allies, the wording for Sturdy Shields might be more appropriate ("they also grant them..."). alternatively, passive tense might work too (allies receive...). if it's for the shields themselves, maybe their own armor might be less ambiguous
Should this swarm strike skill point change the locust swarm tooltip shown to include minion tags?

I think that since it releases multiple projectiles it would make the most sense to say Ice Thorns have a chance to pierce enemies (pass through enemies they hit), but that's not my decision to make.

Not 100% sure but this tooltip refers to Health Drain.
Everywhere else in the tree it refers to Health Decay.
If they're the same thing, they should probably conform.
If they AREN'T the same thing, then Health Drain needs examples or such as.

The description appears to be written by hand, while as far as i know LE Tools directly exports from the in-game files so its likely a mistake

"Shadow" is underlined, but Alting up does nothing. I'd suggest adding a flair which would tell what a shadow is, unless it's present somewhere else in the game. I might be just blind and/or direction-dumb though, so if the proposal doesn't make any sense, feel free to disregard it.
Just to be clear, underlining doesn't mean that it should have an alt tooltip. There are several underlined phrases that wouldn't make sense to have a tooltip.
