Alright got my starter figured out, and then high investment swap is like Ice Shot Bells, or Rain of Arrows Bells and I can take advantage of shit like Empowered Sparks and double dipping on Mantra of Destruction and Ancestrally boosting Bell and Whirling Assault early game.

They mean that bleed is kinda like 15% more damage on-top of your hit dps I think. But the math almost never ends up that way

#

If you're an actual bleed build the majority of your damage would be from bleeds, and if you're a hit based build not even 15% of the damage would be from bleeds, since they don't stack and you'd likely hit more than once per second

You use little guys to do stuff like transport and production instead of belts and stuff. And there's also no power system or anything

#

It has some surprisingly deep mechanics with how the roads and stuff work, the smaller transport guys always keep to the right on the road which leads to a lot of intricacies you can take advantage of, like having them priorities putting stuff in certain places or traffic jams and stuff

#

It also has a pretty complete logic system you can utilize if you wanna go real deep. it's not needed though, similar to in factorio

It trades a lot of complexity you'd find in supporting systems in other games (stuff like power generation) for just having way deeper recipes that have loads of steps

What I especially like about it is unlike other games where you have to transport basic resources all over the place even in the endgame once you reach a certain point in this one it lets you make a lot of the resources through a production loop so you can localize it. For example this thing is just to make wood for coal in the mines so I don't need to transport wood all the way over here

Honestly though to me the shorter run aspect was a little bit of a turn off in some ways, I really enjoy seeing big logistics and stuff come together over time and it doesn't really do that since runs are usually fairly short. Maybe I just didn't play enough to get to longer runs where you make big cities

Bestiary league on paper seemed fun and interesting

All in all it wasnt that great of a league but what kept me playing 3.2 was the ascendency reworks. they did an amazing job with that and it allowed more builds and more diversity and i had tons of fun planning and executing builds @tame robin

problem with Grim Dawn is that it doesn't ahve the same QOL as PoE did (multicore support)

PoE is multi threaded, and it probably saved the game from dying, same with lockstep implementation

oh man yeah. They still have issues with it. The one problem was after the wave spawns the fps dropped down and some even crashed from it.
