People part ways and community managers are people too. They handle things differently following boundaries set in each server along with their own personalities.

You can have CM like Ave that's empathetic and try to help with patience or CM that just outright time you out. You will also see CM in other server that's just a figurehead who host streams on Twitch and post updates on social media with less direct interaction with players on discord unless they really have to.

The CM stream would probably still go on with Wick and Kain at helm until Vandryl pick up the pace

Wanted to add a few more details to #📚┃off-topic message since I've gotten real-time access to Chinese datasets now. Missing like 20-30% of the Chinese market, due to our sentiment analysis really just not working above basic levels on Mandarin (basically skipping any complex text). Will ask a vendor of ours in a few days. But overall, Last Epoch is not that popular in China (as opposed to PoE, but no game has a >30% Chinese playerbase). I just made educated guesses when adding to the final number of players:

• Chinese players tend to play more, both in the same session and over the course of a season.
• They tend to engage with trade-like mechanics more, and LE just doesn't have that oomph to it. I...think.
• Some releases in China overlap with players that overlap with LE.
• Doesn't really apply ( 😄 cue to my flame message about PoE players) but no public holidays or the likes for the period.

Running lots of randomization-centric backtesting strategies to see if I missed any vital points. Except any UNREALGODLIKE changes by EHG or some wildcards, I think it's nearly there.

Conclusion-reminder: S3 looking healthy. Can't wait. Those 3 people that care about this, enjoy. Others who are interested in educated discussion about what I look for, strategies, etc., I'm open (in more than one way AYO)

🤔 I'll say 3d art is an industry which 100% stacked by money. You can do anything with money power because you can just 3d scanning architectures to get models, which is the most accurate way to the most realistic models. But 2d art can't. It 100% decide on how the hand of this people can do, as similar as crafting.

2d art always require skills from 3d art such as perspective, light, composition and angles

Simulate all of them in the brain without help of computer is the hardest part, which is the end too.

There's quite a bit of soft modelling and styles in 3D as well, not everything is realistic rigid bodies.

Kind of funny, our 3D artist when I was doing my master thesis came out of the simulation industry, very used to hard surface modelling of complex technical machinery. They had to pick a whole different skillset to model and texture humans in historical uniforms.

Stoneshard, it's a turn based open world rpg. You play a mercenary and take contracts to clear out dungeons and stuff. Development has been slow which made people give it negative reviews but honestly even in its current state it's well worth the money

It's pretty hard when you first start out and don't know much plus the turn based nature and pixel art isn't for everyone. But imo it has some of the best pixel art of any game I've played and I really enjoy the turn based nature

My fear is - and it's what's most likely gonna happen - companies will think it's the turn-based aspect that made those games successful. I enjoyed the time I spent on E33 and BG3, and they were so good, that I didn't mind the turn-based aspect. But when those games aren't good, this type of combat just isn't for a big number of people (I THINK, based on what I saw through the years), but we'll be getting it just because. Most of the modern good turn-based JRPGs are probably anime style games.
