I noticed how bad enemies are that can dodge with the echo modifier and I investigated a bit: erasing strike + void cleave for example have 'cannot be dodged' in their tree but smelters wrath not. Isn't it really bad having to deal with those modifiers on a big bonk build? 🤔
We don't even have a % number of dodge chance (which is strange) but even with Heartseeker I notice the difference.

100% of his confusions, anxious and disappointed mood I can understand, don't know who is going in the worse case, him or me.

Some reputation he left still, so he can get little money from his fans. He played 10 years games, self-employed as a content creator, that's similar as my target (just change it to an famous digital artist/ 3D artist), he said he was got nothing in these years compare with another people, well the same feeling. My life maybe completely different if I can learn something on what I don't like , go to do a job I don't like then for saving some money instead of struggling with the ridiculous "voxelart", which don't be known for 99% people in the real world or on the internet.
The luck thing he have is he started his career 10 years+ before so he had a duration of easy money and happy game time. I don't know who's he, but his troubles in his life give me strong resonance.

Please, I need help, I was playing Last Epoch up to about 60lvl just fine, FPS was holding 100+ , but when I started walking monoliths, suddenly it's crazy laggy, I'm getting about 15-30 fps, and when I walk the character seems to be going backwards (my MS is fine) and it's impossible to play... like sometimes it lasts at about 80 fps for 1-2minutes, but then it suddenly drops to low FPS again. I've tried all the tutorials and tips and nothing helped, please can anyone advise what to do ? My PC: Intel core I9, RTX 3060ti, ram 64gb. Thanks

@vapid junco @slender vessel I want you both to submit In Game Bug Reports after you have this happen in game with the phrase 'AveTombsLag' - Include how long you were playing, try only having Last Epoch open - if possible, include metrics about GPU/CPU/VRAM use. You can get this using Task Manager, MSI Afterburner or Windows Gamebar (Windows+G), these programs use minimal amounts of power so should not impact gameplay the same way Chrome or Discord would - You can even screenshot those metrics or get videos and post them here, tag me and I will add them to your IGBRs.

PC specs would be good to know as well as well as which driver version you're using, especially for Nvidia.

The team are working on Tombs/Cemetery performance so having more data from more set-ups will help!

They got tons of money based to cosmetics but servers are broken and their game on amateur level literally every build has the same Defensive layer almost.

If going to play arpg again going for D2 Lod Mod which provides all this for free instead and its like x20 times better in comparison. Graphics are bad but who cares if core game is so bad made and not rewarding specially for an arpg game.

i pulled honey off of them for the first time ever last year, and i was lazy about it... usually when harvest season hits, you use multiple honey boxes (supers) and you just swap them in and out, harvesting honey all through the season.
what i did, was just put 1 super on them, and left it for the whole season and harvested the 1 box afterwards.
i could have been harvesting 2 hives on a rotating cycle and ended up with way more honey than i got; this was just sort of a proof of concept... still ended up with 23 pints

4+-years-worth of data (only West, only 18+, analysis done some 2 years ago, some countries not included due to privacy laws), that I then pieced together to see who the average PoE player was, in short - "trust me bro lol", but I can't say I was TOO serious about it:

At large, people who meaningfully(?) engage with PoE1 in a long-term fashion are lower-education, 18-25 males, low-income, generally what I'd call "on the lower-end". About 15-20% fall on the spectrum that starts with normal (contributing member of society) and ends with somewhat normal. But by an large, PoE's target is people that don't really have much going on. Meaning:

• They will, on purpose, conflate a game being hard, with it being annoying/tedious, because, to them, that's all they have. In that context, it's very easy to understand why they're so against trade, QoL, campaign-skips, etc, because it means they can no longer make me cringe by telling me the 1000h they spent in a game isn't just proof of much they need welfare. Their core identity is "annoying is hard". That is pathetic, and I'm happy EHG is exactly the opposite.

• They will hold dear onto the "identity", and - connected to the last point - will be very resistant to change. However, once it happens, they won't mind it, because, suddenly, they realize that less pain is good. In short, don't ever believe the fire in the heart of a PoE player. They're looking at the world with a broken lens.

PoE2. They understand their players: people who view withering away in front of a computer as glorious. Where they went wrong, and it was painfully obvious from the start, they turned the game into this torture, not realizing it's exactly those people that can't take it. Even if they gave you loot 24/7, the combat and the loops are just too annoying. I get where they're coming from, but those people just want to zoomzoom around.

You can infer the very inflammatory statements I'd make about them on your own 😛

On the surface, yes, but interestingly, not really. When I did my analysis to predict LE's S2 numbers, the overlap between PoE1/2 players and LE's was...just not that big. You'd expect at least half of people. Now, like 70% of LE's players HAVE tried PoE in their lives, but I mean active PoE players. Specifically to Torchlight, the number is even lower, close to non-existent (from the LE analysis) in both cases: active PoE players, and people interested in ARPGs.

The analysis from then looked at specifically people who engage with the game for more than a few days (worked with a hardcore player so they'd explain to me exactly how long it'd take to get this and that, the loops, etc.). This "few days" differs from season-to-season, but a few parameters:

• Did those people engage with the game longer than XX hours?
• Did they repeatedly do so?
• What was the average session length?
• Where available, what was their "engagement chatter" like (sentiment analysis for chats across multiple platforms, about the game, where available).

IIRC, like 70%+ of the people starting a new season in PoE1 get to the endgame (it was defined by the hardcore player as a combination of the campaign, doing certain mechanics, getting certain things). So, in that sense, all PoE players are "hardcore". This is both a gift and a problem. It means their playerbase is largely the same, and they struggle(d?) to attract new people. This metric on its own, but then I looked at the actual repeat offenders metric, and yea, it was confirmed.

But actually engaging with the game in a really hardcore manner? Na, that's like very few people.

GGG knows this, and they design - as I said - for people who just want to complete things, get a build going decently fast (~<1-2 weeks), and then they dip. It's those people that make up the vast majority of their revenue. And it's those people that think that, because they spent 1-2 weeks on a game (where the actually hard-not-annoying-as-hell things could've been done in like a day - not saying it's good design). Their currency isn't actually hard content. It's time spent (wasted).

It's not "illegal" to stream Twitch in Korea. The government did not stop Twitch from operating in Korea. Twitch pulled out of Korea because of unfriendly ISP rules that makes South Korean bandwidth unaffordable for Twitch live streaming. There are still some Korean streamers who use Twitch, but most have either switched to CHZZK or SOOP (formerly AfreecaTV) which are both Korean live streaming platforms.

Bandwidth in South Korea is very expensive. I work in Cloud Computing and our Korean infra are usually among the more expensive plans.

Gotta remember that Twitch has never in its entire history of existing, ever, made a profit. Twitch has always operated at a loss.

It only matters on the highest difficulty where enemies do more damage to you, so you get punished for missing those. On normal difficulty, enemy damage scaling is reduced so you don't get punished as much for missing those. Otherwise, normal vs expert are basically the same.

Expert is for people who really want parries and dodges to matter.

For this game specifically, some things can end up being better on keyboard/mouse than controller because of the fact that you are stuck with a preset controller scheme in this game unlike on keyboard and mouse which has rebinding options.
