Only during this event. It is an old throw-away idea we didn't think would be good enough to replace the Atlas Tree. For this event we wanted to create an almost "alternate reality Wraeclast" vibe and thought this would be interesting to experience alongside the alternate Ascendancy class ideas also. After the event we will be adding the alternate Ascendancy Classes and alternate Endgame (Idols) to the Private League list so that people can have leagues with just one or the other at their leisure!

Of course it's not going to replace it

Yeah the tactics part of it is fun and the reason I got it. I was not expecting the other half of the game to be so completely bad though. They put almost no effort into the character models. Basically 3 sizes, 3 poses they all do, animations as basic as they come. The combat part of the game is the only polish.

Race rewards are generally never good items, just exclusive items. All the PoE1 ones are genuinely bad items but they're pretty limited so they're valuable just because of that alone.
