I think you're overblowing and misrepresenting/misperceiving how people feel about this. I'm of the opinion that most people, even those with thousands of dollars in PoE1 cosmetics, will not care about having most of their PoE1 cosmetics available to them in PoE2 when it launches into early access in December. I think the issue here stems from equating a paid beta with a full release of a game. Beta/early access is by definition not a full game release and there will be some things missing.

Most people are gonna want their relevant stash tabs, that's like the one thing. There will be plenty of new game art/skill effects in PoE2 itself that demand for cosmetics won't be that high early on.

It's not the next league. It's an event league, your current league character isn't being migrated yet.

What parent league mean?

Your characters/progress in the event league probably gets migrated to standard at the end of the event. The event league will run alongside the current Settlers league. The event league ends when the Settlers league ends.

The current league is 3.25 and next league is 3.26, that doesn't come out until early next year. This league starting later is an entirely separate league based on Settlers with some custom event stuff for people to collect.

In LE, I can try and make my own build. It wont work? Sure I can pay 20k gold lol easy.

some smart ass thought adding sound Qs to particals in game was a good thing lol , that why Delirium league was a clown fiesta and most of us had to disable sound manuanly thrugh folder

was also my league for the first mirror and even if i hated it it has its own fingerprint on me , Steel still has no raw mirrow drop but i do :p

mentioning shaders , if u game laggs and works like crap always remeber to delete the shader catche folder from game and just rerun it again .It helps a lot of medium PCs

theres 3 engines and if u switch between them then the folder gets overloaded , u only using one so just delete the rest

Just remember you need multiple layers of defense. Evasion is good, but it only affects attacks and does nothing for spells. A lot of boss damage in particular is spell damage so having either Spell Suppression Chance or Spell Block Chance is good.

• Spell Suppression Chance is generally preferred because you can reach 100% chance easily and that means you reduce 50% of all spell damage.
• Evasion also won't help you against one shots, sooner or later even with maximum evade you will fail to evade an attack that kills you if you don't have enough life/energy shield/damage reduction.
• Armour is the cheapest and easiest way to get Physical Damage Reduction, so if you don't have any special gear that helps you with Physical Damage (usually stuff like "x% of Physical Damage taken as Fire Damage") then you should add a few sources of armour (Determination Gem, Passives, Granite flask).

Oh, and one more very important thing is recovery/sustain. You must have a good source of life/energy shield recovery so that you can instantly heal any damage. You should have either leech, regen or some combination of both. You ideally want to be able to restore half or more of your life/energy shield instantly.

Don't focus only on Evasion or you will be dying a lot, especially to bosses.

Check your Phys Max Hit against bosses in PoB. Around 15k Phys Max Hit is good for comfortably running T16 maps. Max Hit tells you whether you can survive one shots.

Corrupted is pretty simple. They can't be modified with normal currency or crafted on with the bench.
Sometimes monsters have hidden modifiers that make them drop corrupted items, but otherwise you do it yourself with a vaal orb (usually). Corrupting an item can do a few different things; it can do nothing, it can put a new implicit modifier on the item, it can turn a socket white, or it can brick (completely reroll the modifiers on the item randomly).

There is an exclusive sub-category of currency that works on corrupted items called tainted currency, they're kinda rare and don't function the same as their normal counterparts.

Recombine is a completely different beast that I... cannot teach you because it uses a lot of terms that would need further teaching.

No game really renders hair for real outside of the main characters usually. In black myth wukong the main characters hair is actually just like that, it's groups of hair for the head. With some static hair for the body. While stuff like the big bear boss actually doesn't have that much hair if you look closely, the amount of hair it has is an illusion created by particle effects

You can kinda see it more clearly on the arms, it's pretty coarse hair with minimal physics on a similarly coloured background, but they use a really got particle system to make it look really good

There's basically no game that actually has tons of physics simulated hair, it's way too taxing

Those "fine" hairs are the particle system I mentioned, its basically just trickery, they have no physics simulation and aren't actually even attached to the model of the character even, it's a very neat and optimized particle system they've created to make hair more believable in motion

Hence why they have such an aggressive and in depth particle system to help make the hair look better

So 99.9% of the time it'll look amazing, it's only once you break the veil and do something that's not intended like take a screenshot when he's in your face in the middle of an animation where he stops for a second, letting the particles fade and show his actual fur that you break the illusion and see that it's actually not as insane as you thought

Lol yup, I was actually gonna give an example for something like this. There's a notoriously horrendously coded game called yandere simulator that has a toothbrush with like 5000 polygons. Mhwild is complaining about an entire boss with 41k polygons, this is a single toothbrush that does nothing with like 5000 polygons lul

And you can only imagine why 115 000 individual hairs in the Witcher is such a big deal :p

My brother also has 3060 laptop, and guess what. I thought the laptop was kinda weak, so I low setting everything and limit fps to 60. Result was terrible, then I got frustrated and set everything back to defaul, even vsync adaptive to 144, and magically the game performs 10x better

Don't know about that, but when I'm hiring software engineers, the only thing I care about is experience. I would expect someone without any professional experience to at least have a portfolio of personal work to demonstrate competence and enthusiasm.

Not sure I'm understanding lol. In my experience, tech hiring managers (and me too) don't care about if you worked in the service industry or some other unrelated job. Only thing that truly matters is your experience, when you have no experience then you must have some kind of portfolio to showcase your skills. For example, even if someone graduated from university, I wouldn't hire them if they cannot demonstrate their ability. Graduating from university isn't proof that you can do the job.

Of course there are exceptions where hiring managers do care, for example a tech company that sells a product in the restaurant industry might value past experience working in a restaurant.
