You can turn off their voices. It's the first thing I did before I even loaded in.

Some of the missions need HELP tbh. Like this one where you need a shield to move this machine, but Gley doesn't have one so it just never moves. And enemies constantly spawn, so when playing on other characters you never have time for your shield to regenerate.

i noticed nobody does the story missions either, or at least the game doesn't spawn a lot of players for them

finding players for operations and intercepts are no issue, but i had to do a lot of story missions by myself which kind of sucked

Definitely. Picking Lepic at the start was a huuuuuuge mistake on my part. I should've gone with Ajax, because by the time I got to one of the story beats around level 12-14, the boss was doing waaaaay too much damage, and me too little.

On another note, cover in TFD is somewhat inconsistent. I can be behind what should be a solid structure, but still be getting hit by gunfire.

cyberpunk 2.0 is pretty buggy, encountered quite a few. TWo most notable ones was Goro hit a police car when I was riding with him and the cops chased us all the way to where he was driving. And the other is I get the glitchy screen effect is permanently stuck.

I watched a streamer yesterday playing Cyberpunk on very hard and dying over and over and I can't imagine spending so many extra hours just to say you beat a game on very hard

Runnin a mix of Nehan and Satori, which is an iconic dagger and katana, and work together as somewhat of a set

I was going katana at first because scalpel plus the slow down cyberware is really good

but silenced pistol is actually faster for most of the time

Im on very hard and about half the time 1 shot enemies with a throwing knife to the head, if that doesnt kill them i can teleport dash to them as a finisher, and then katana is just backup because it auto swaps to it when throwing knife is on cooldown, and satori has 100% bleed chance as a quickdraw, and if an enemy has bleeding from nehan, satori will apply a stronger bleed called hemorrhage

Even if i didnt use my throwing knife and went in pure katana its a breeze

You just have to pay attention to your cyberware more, since that covers like 80% of your defenses now

Defenses are gone from armor, though select few pieces of armor can still give a unique stat secondary stat boost, but thanks to transmog, you arent a walking trash can

Like an actual kevlar vest can give up to 25 armor, and then just transmog over it

Its like 80% cyberware, 19% talents, 1% secondary stats on armor

For defenses

Blood pumps HOT now

Theres 2 perks in the talent tree for tech, middle, starting spot that gets you extra rolls for upgrades and is well worth picking up so you can get more of the secondary stats you want from cyberware while upgrading

Cyberpunks got more of an actual gold sink now thanks to cyberwear upgrading

You can easily drop up to 10mill on upgrading cyberwear

apparently they also added level scaling i think

i assume once i get like tier 5 netrunner stuff it'll be pretty easy though

i like that they changed how clothes work too, there's some gear that gives you bonuses like i found a netrunner suit, but i always thought it was kind of goofy that it worked like the Witcher 3's armor

Yea enemies scale with your level now, skull elites above your level still exist though. Gear mods are gone, some pieces do have small stats like gas masks, netrunner suits, kevlar vests, and all that. But most of your defensives will come from cyberwear, and a bit from talents

i will say i encountered one performance issue, and i don't remember if it was always there

but the parade where you kill the snipers tanked my framerate, i assume it was from the amount of npcs

had severe video lag at the start of that mission

I play max everthing, including path tracing, at 2k res. 50-60 fps. No DLSS because it has a bug with path tracing and I'd rather it be pretty than have 100+ fps

Once you get properly setup, every build so far feels just as god like as before 2.0

And this time, we have more abilities to add to our kits as well for more gameplay dynamics

I just rapidly chop away at them with a katana until a hit connects and then proceed to stomp them into the curb

You're supposed to wait to attack for targets like that for an opening

im looking at the cyberpunk builder website cause i noticed something

bottom left row in intelligence

and then you get access to overclock

then in tech you've got projectile launcher, and ticking time bomb

the starting relic perk overcharges the launcher to fire 5 shots

theres bonuses for taking damage from you're own explosions as well

quickhack multiple enemies in a group, pop overclock, run and jump in while charging projectile launcher, and shoot the ground below you shotgunning multiple explosions into the crowd, and by that time, your ticking time bomb from overclock will go off and EMP stun everything around you still alive

oh this sounds like fun

this one is nice too

can run all control quickhacks, and just pull all enemies to an area then crowd control them all and then run the rotation

rn i'm running smart pistol netrunner build with chance to spread quickhacks (contagion>overheat is also a nice combo when they're grouped up), with toes dipped in stealth. I just scoot along crouched and auto-activate optical camo, pretty fun

there's also bonuses to activating quickhack through devices I think, so i can just chill out and take control of cameras and quick hack around the area

i wish there was more iconic quickhack cyberware though, i've only found one and it was a cyberdeck that didn't seem that useful

cyberpunk's a pretty good game now, i was really harsh on it at launch cause of how buggy it was. I remember one mission that the enemy ai just turned off completely

but i think i love it now

because with throwing knife, you can stick someone with it, and the finisher will let you basically teleport to the target

pretty fun on a melee or shotgun build

i remember sniping an enemy with a throwing knife using the falloff to pop him in the head from like 100m away, and then teleported straight to him for the finisher

literally scared all the enemies because i just BLIPPED into existence next to them

Theres apparently a way you can answer dialogue like 3 missions into phantom liberty where you basically bow out of the whole thing and the entire plot of pl ends there and you can just run around doing all the side shit

I guess it may have been added in as like, something people can do for a 2nd playthrough or something

There are some mods that let you do a pseudo new game+ and thanks to enemies scaling to your level that could be fun

If we get a level uncapper, imagine like lvl 300 worlds where you have to min/max optimize perfectly because every enemy is a division style bullet sponge

the way I look at it, aspects in d4 are similar to skill runes in d3 or multiplicative nodes in LE skill trees
meanwhile unique items are supposed to be the exciting, mechanic changing items, for example the new druid unique amulet makes boulder orbit around you, that looks fun
