If you like to play the same characters every time, then you'd probably like Legacy game mode. Characters made in Season game mode are moved to Legacy when the Season ends.
There is currently no game content difference between Legacy and Season. Each Season has new leaderboards, a Merchant's Guild economy reset, and everybody starting over fresh.

Eh, maybe. There's a lot of "ifs" that come with that. The difficulty does increase pretty dramatically after a while, but to say you'll walk into an echo and get one shot without any indication it was coming is a stretch. If it was going to happen, You would recognize it in previous echoes I'm sure.

Not for gaming, but I use kvm switches and sofware so split screen to multiple computers and windows has great support for splitting on a single computer, between different apps

You can kill Uber Abby with a ton of builds, it'll just take a long time and it'll need a good amount of skill on a lot of them though so it's not really something worth posting because it doesn't really look very impressive

A lot of people playing these builds also just don't bother killing ubby because he doesn't drop anything for them
Immortal vise is fairly universal for melee builds but shattered worlds really isn't
And ignite builds usually use something like hubris

I understand what you mean. i still feel like Uber is generally a power check rather than for the drops, unless your personal goal is just seeing how much corruption you can push. Since there's not really anything else to do after normal Abby, other than pushing corruption for the sdake of it or killing uby, no? it would be impressive just for the sake of saying "you could potentially kill uber with this ignite build". With "ignite sucks" i really mean in comparison to time rot, electrify, bleed (maybe not poison tho) since they have quite a good representation of Uby kills.

I'm personally not a dot player in general so I don't keep tabs on all the dot builds out there but I'm sure you could kill ubby in sub 10 minutes with ignite, what build that would be with I'd have to look into though. You're not wrong that ignite falls short of something like timerot maybe but I wouldn't say it's much worse if at all compared to something like bleed honestly

As far as I know not really. They've stated that they're not very interested in a campaign skip/adventure mode. But honestly LE and something like Poe (which is the one I assume you're referring to) is night and day imo. Since you can just stop doing the campaign and go do timelines pretty much whenever you feel prepared, and even if you go to factions before starting timelines it's way faster. But obviously that's not the answer you're looking for. As far as I know they haven't announced or talked about giving alternative leveling paths so far. But they have talked about looking into it since it is something that gets brought up fairly often

Say you have kids and a job and just want to destroy monsters and don't care about the intricacies how do you go about picking a build that is OP? Yeah you won't hit the ceiling and probably won't kill uber, but for that hour or so a night you play you'll have fun blasting through the game, yeah? I can't think of a simpler metric if you don't already know who the good build makers are and intricacies of the game. Least that's my take

I understand why people use it, my point was just that it's a wildly inaccurate metric and it's annoying that its become so boolean and pretty much entirely a single target damage metric when 90% of the game is not a single target focus.

A build with -100% movement speed, dies in one hit to anything, can only attack one target at a time with extremely low attack speed, has a long awkward setup for a combo, etc. Can kill uber. But it might be total shit as a practical build.
I could also tryhard my way to 2t7 gear and say its uber viable when another build maker with less time can't kill it on a better build with 1t7

There is less incentive to pick a "weaker" build here as whether or not you can do certain content is mostly predetermined, you can't "work towards" a goal that the build just can't do

there is a put method that returns straight json and then there is also embedded json in the html get
the hardest part is getting the rng seed values and uh valid attribute scaling values as in the le tools build planner those are unpopulated and the wrong values will cause... strange behavior

i got another question about builds i noticed mike was using a full blown summoning build on his necro in his streams, but the only game i was able to like "hybridize" summoning build was in grim dawn. since there you can basically be a strong spellcaster/warrior and have equally powerful sidekicks (see the howl of mogdrogen devotion). is LE the kind of game where you have to go full blown summoning to make it work, or can you throw in some offensive skills on your own in the mix?
b/c i do know that in d4 for example, there's no way summoning builds are gonna work unless you fully spec into them

falconer is probably the closest to what you’re asking for, other minion builds tend to have a varying degree of active skills but they’re generally primarily support skills

i think my favorite part of the game is the first act, there is so much detail in those gardens, and then as if the funding ran out, the rest of the storyline became "assets"

i found LE to be a perfect blend between casual and PRo, that means i can pretty much micro all my main skills into a one-shot spam button
so i dont have to walk into a hospital for carpal tunnel
so for example my right arm is the most damaged (ive been in the army)
so i use button 1 on my left hand for most abilities (walking, skills etc)
and it works so plz dont change it
so i use button e for walking, and button 1 and 2 for skills

Functionally no, you can get as much as you can find on gear, passives, etc. and it's fine. There's probably a technical limit where the game stops being able to handle more I would think, but that hasn't come up in any scenario I've seen.
