Ok guys, i've got a CoF hot tip for you, if you get a specific mono boss prophecy that is 0/2 or more, there are certain bosses where if you don't click the quest person to talk at the end, you can tp back to the mono entrance and run the boss again immediately and do both charges of the prophecy.

It's not that difficult. You have a resource and 4 telescope regions for each different gear type, as well as lenses which manipulate the prophecies you can buy. You go to the telescope, buy the prophecy, fullfull it and get the reward. Done. Lenses are being bought at the entrance and become more powerful (with the most powerful lenses being rank 7 and rank 8) which you should use as soon as you get them.

It helped a lot to realise that those things reroll constantly so you don't have to pain over making "wronk" choices. Raxx also explains very well the lens stuff.

Earn Favor and Rep by killing things / doing quests. Spend favor on Prophecies to target farm the loot you want. Spending favor also gives you Rep. Do what the prophecies say to earn the loot you want.

Use lenses to further target farm for the things you want/activities you dont want to do.

All the lenses are being shown at the entrance vendor. The highest lense is rank 8. Afterwards you can ignore the lenses if you dont want to swap them.

I believe devs said previously that monos dont "use" servers in the same way the campaign maps work. So if youre in monos and the servers dont shutdown/internet stop, you should be able to keep doing them.

The Lenses are designed for you to have controlled farming of items you need. There might be times when you need Staffs, or Sentinel armor, etc. You can purchase different lenses to improve the probabilty of finding them, but also eliminating harder conditions to complete the prophecy. I.E. removing Dungeons, or High Corruption requirements

Let's just assume for simplicity's sake that you can find 5 different prophecies: boots, gloves, helmet, belt, body armor. That would give you a base chance of 20% to find a boots prophecy and if your lense increased boots chance by 100%, then it'd be 40%. OF course it's much lower than that in reality as the number of possible prophecies is larger.

I'm looking for staves and they made damn sure to make target farming not so easy by adding crap like "caster weapons" or just "weapons". So the staff lens won't do a lot.

The testing one youtuber did showed roughly 8k vs 9k vs 10k per hour comparing I believe it was early monos to end monos to empowered monos. But there were cases where "older" monos were faster to clear and thus gave more favor per hour.

This means that you cannot use any gear found while in CoF if you switch to MG, and if you trade/gift items to other players, they can only use them if they're the appropriate rank in CoF

Yeah what they mean is that they're going to buy leveling items, then once they've picked up better gear off the ground they'll switch to CoF. Ground items aren't merchant-marked, only bazaar-bought items

They appear much more commonly in monoliths, a purple item just means that one or more of the affixes are Tier 6+, the maximum crafted tier is Tier 5, so mythic items have an affix better than max possible crafted

Are you playing to be efficient or to have fun? Monoliths w/ high corruption is your fastest way to nutty gear (make sure you do your CoF prophecies tho'). Dungeons are fun, arena is fun -- no one else can really answer for you. 🙂

fastest power comes from monos for sure.
Do your monoliths, each 1 at least once.
Then do each empowered 1 at least once.
Then farm for your boss uniques. or your monolith uniques.

You will get a rude awakening in Arena if your build isnt cut for the task.
Lightless arbo would be fine if you had the funds to actually farm it.
And sanctum is easy enough that you'll only use it to Legendary something.

Put the dungeon block lense on, then pair it with the item lense you want. have fun.

They're for entirely different playstyles, trading is always gonna be overall stronger but you can focus on crafting mats with prophecies and get heaps of exalteds to craft on in CoF E: focus on idols with prophecies, I read needed items

Both the ones I bought were near bis with the core stat IE wraith lord hat for +13 sp to minion spells. And if I stayed cof high rolled one the odds are I'm gnna hit a bad one anyway even if I succeed in getting a 3lp. The faction just seems crazy weaker

I hard disagree, you also are generally going to have to buy multiple LP3s to get the one you want when you use the potential - and CoF gets you more T7s to actually roll good stats on the item. I think CoF caps your gear out more efficiently.

no, just the path untill u find one, note that there are different corruption nodes, it goes from +4 to +20 if im not wrong.

At a MASSIVE cost increase sure. You miss out on targetting types that way though, or removing specific content you dont want. The lenses are all made to be swapped out as needed for targetting/avoiding specific stuff, or getting tons of loot at a high price like you are suggesting

If you only think about pure quantity of items, sure? Part of the point is utility in picking your content and drop weighting. Like if someone HATES dungeons, removing dungeons as an option is nice, then there are still 2 lens slots left to either boost drops + cost, get rid of other content types, or boost specific drops like say you were looking for good boots, using both slots for boot increase would make boot prophecies MUCH more common
