spot checking this, seems ok? https://www.lastepochtools.com/loot-filters/view/EALkNkok
Price check on 2 LP Julra's Stardial? Cycle 39% Spell Damage, 24% Ward
You could list it at $10-$40m, I have a 1 LP slammed stardial on my mage and it's super powerful. I'm not in the market, but if I were that's what I would expect to see. I have no idea if there's a buyer playing mage but min $10m I'd say.
Ah ty
Price check on a 4LP Snowblind?
Is the marketplace alive at this moment? I decided to make a new character for Merchant's Guild and considering the amount of people that are playing im not sure if that was a good idea
depends what class and depends if you are able do trade and make money
You can easily switch if you want, but the merchants guild have tons of items for cheap. It’s still far better than CoF.
anyone selling stinging idols? (bees on acid flask use). Only a few and they are insanely priced lol. Cycle sc
Is there any website or calculator how should i sell items and what worth more?
To know the prices items you have two options, 1: you can look up each item individually or 2: you can wait to sell items after you’ve had enough experience buying your own, and that will inform you what the prices are roughly. I always recommend the latter and I tell people to use their initial favor buying items in the merchant guild until they have an idea of pricing.
Regarding pricing - I have a red ring to sell. There are only 3 others on the market. 200M, 200M, and 1.5B.
I listed mine for 139M, with better stats. Would that sell?
idk if those prices are just absurdly high, so they're not selling, or if I'm going too low
I don't think there are enough people on the market, that's the main problem
90% of people is waiting for the next season
Well when new cycle did start last time, how much was a red ring on average?
No, it most likely will not sell at anything above $50m. Red rings were $5-$10m when they were on the market, they just all sold out so people don't know what to list them for. Now that there are no other red rings on the market people think they're going to sell for outrageous prices, so that's why they're listed that high. They are not selling that high, I guarantee you it. No one should be paying over $20m for a red ring with 0 LP even if it's perfect rolls.
Show me a picture. I probably have one you can have
Solid it for 15M
anyone have any adorned smite on throw they are wiling to part with 🙂
Hello, can anyone add me in high corruption I need to rank up Merchant Guild
Got a 2LP World Splitter. See highest was 10 mil so Im listing for 7.5. Hope I can get sell it at that price
I bet it sold! I was just playing with someone who bought one and it slammed perfect, double prefix
Well they must’ve bought it before I posted it or someone undercut the price. At least a 2LP Apathy Maw sold for 1.25M
Is sanctum market discord active? Left half a year Ago and don’t have working link
Or it died lol
tried multiple times to check them out. Looks like they hiatus?
can't even join their discord even if there is an invite in reddit
All links are dead
iirc they flipped a table when the second reset had a dupe, maybe someone will start a new group or revive it in S2
whats the easiest way to farm gold for a new player? just got the monoliths and trying to piece together a build
hmm ok i didnt know if there was a certain activity better for farming gold vs gear
are runes tradeable?
No, only equippable things
oh ok
why is ambitions of an erased acolyte so much more expensive than the other weaver relics in legacy?
also whats the best way to get gold in legacy? is it even worth listing items on the market or does no one buy stuff
hello! is there a way to change the price aka favor of an item when going to post it? trying to sell an item and it wants to post for 1900ish favor but every other of the same item (with same 2lp) is for 4k+
Favor cost for listing and buying is calculated by the game based on the item, there's no way to change it yourself
The price is the gold value you set
so how is all the other items favor cost so much higher then man?
mine*
ok so maybe i am looking at this the wrong way. do i get the favor back? is my favor cost lower because im only lvl 5 with the MG?
Hard to say without seeing the items, but there's just a formula for it. Really having a lower favor cost is a good thing for you, but probably inconsequential to whether or not someone will buy your item
Nah, you don't get any favor back. Buying or selling items both cost favor, but listing costs 25% as much favor as buying. So if you are looking at your listing cost vs purchasing cost, that might explain why you see a number that could be about 25% of theirs
I got a 2 LP Jungle Queen Belt.
Lowest I see is for 20 mil on the market but I doubt it would sell
Any ideas on a good price
I see I can choose MG even in offline mode, is it legit or I won't be able to trade or something ?
It's effectively useless in offline, no bazaar
ok thank you
Why EHG won't allow trading for "unique maps" do they hate that much MG or just don't like to ppl to spam same unique boss ?
can you filter the merchants guild unique listings by affix values?
Do we know if there is any plan to fix the MG UI for trading? I haven’t played in about 7 months or so.
It was fixed like 7 months ago?
Really? Search functions?
Yes, update was approximately 1 month after 1.1
It's not ideal, no uniq affixes, but it's ten times better. And uniq affixes is in work. May be it will be in 1.2, who knows
is trading temporarily disabled?
p2p trading is, but you can still buy and sell directly from the market
Yo anyone have a loot filter for sellable items in MG?
do you know when it'll be renabled ?
potentially in April when they roll out season 2, but there hasn't been confirmation about that as far as I know.
i didnt even see a post about p2p trading being disabled lol
hope it'll be back for season 2
I need an opinion here.. Should I go CoF or Merchant? since it's late cycle.. merchant sounds a bit better?
It's usually the reverse, the fresher the economy the healthier the trade. Although in LE the impact of being late in a cycle is reduced due to all items being traded asynchronously, but still, I'd recommend CoF this late, unless you want to test something out quickly with an item that is somewhat rare, but not that valuable
I always recommend merchants because it's much faster at aquiring good gear, you can easily get a complete build together in under a week with all the needed uniques and affixes. In CoF there simply isn't enough time left in the season to get to that point, even if you were to play every single day you're almost certainly going to get better items in the Merchants guild. Also in general merchants guild is easier to exit whenever you want to, so if you wanted to leave merchants guild at any point, it's way, way easier to do that and switch to CoF. If you're in CoF and you switch you lose your prophecies and you always have leftover favor so you lose that too, plus more items get tagged as CoF only whereas everything you earn (and not buy) is usable in both factions.
I've had the opposite feeling about CoF and MG, Going from CoF to MG is pretty easy as you can just buy build enabling items from the vendor pretty cheaply. Trying to go from MG to CoF is a pain because if you need to find the build enabling items.
There are a lot of things you're missing or not acknowledging, when you're in CoF a lot of your best items drop with the CoF faction mark, even if they're not from prophecies while in Merchants nothing drops with the faction mark, so you end up earning tons of items in merchants that can all be used in CoF. The same is not true while you are in CoF.
Also it's much easier and quicker to use favor in the merchants guild when you want to switch. So if you have 100k, you can sell tons of items or you can buy like 5 2-3 LP uniques that you know you want, you don't have to slam them, you just use up the favor. While in CoF again the opposite is true, you can't profitably spend favor quickly, you will always lose more favor because you earn favor while completing prophecies and you can't complete all your prophecies before the switch often times
Also you lose prophecies in CoF while in the bazaar you don't lose the items you have up for sale, so you can comfortably put tons of items up for sale (like over a weekend), then leave CoF for however long you want and come back to Merchants when your gear has sold. Again, you cannot do anything like this in CoF
If you are relying on item drops to begin with then you might as well be CoF, the problem is when you use MG to get your starting gear (build enabling) and hoping for something to drop, any items bought off the MG is flagged as MG rep required, so not usable if you switch. I guess it depends on how long you want to grind until you find the gear you need to make the switch to CoF
Well with my current character, I was at 1,500 corruption in less than a week, because I was already Tier 12 in MG and I bought all my gear quickly, but then while I was in high corruption the drops were already insane, and I used that gear that I dropped while in CoF. When I started CoF I was comfortably able to do monoliths and all content at 2k corruption.
switching from CoF to MG is somewhat easy if done somewhat early, as getting build enabling items is often cheap and quick to get. Obviously doing this super late game is not a great idea as you will be losing a lot of power trying to switch
we might be talking about different times in the endgame, I can see your point for late game high corruption switching from MG to CoF might be easier
Yes, well that's exactly the point, the longer you stay in COF the harder it is to switch and the exact opposite is true from a merchant's player perspective, as I just typed in my last message. You earn great gear quickly in Merchants because you can just buy everything you need, even if it's an entry level item, then earn all the best gear to use in both factions. I have lots of items that I use every season that are un-faction marked for this reason. But most people don't know to pay close attention to these little details and then they end up with all CoF gear
Easy drive by solution, just stay in CoF 🤷♂️
You're welcome 😊
Well it's not easy to find Tier 7 exalted affixes for specific skills. This is why I switched out of CoF the first time after spending 350 hours in it and not finding a single Tier 6 or 7 "+20 mana gained from fireball" helmet affix. Tier 7 affixes with those were $100k in the bazaar, which is on the more expensive side for affixes, but it completely enabled my fireball meteor build. Things like this are never easy to find in CoF and they can be detrimental to the development of certain builds.
It will not be a problem in 1.2 anymore
It'll be less of a problem because we can effectively fabricate exalted items to use with the new runes, I think rune of havoc was the one to use there, but we have no idea how common those will be. Either way, I'm certainly not going to be joining CoF in the beginning of the season, MG will be way better, as it usually is.
And I think they said rune of havoc uses 20 forging potential, so it's not exactly going to be easy to get what you want.
Yeah, 1-20, same as rune of research
It's 8 FP on average, 6 if you use hope
Ah that's not bad, I thought it was a guaranteed 20 fp used
Oftentimes it is 20fp used indeed 🤣
coz RNGoddess can be a tsuntsun xD
Does le mg faction has something like awakened poe trade to price check items? Previously i played only cof, and was thinking about trying mg. But i have 0 info what could be worth or not to sell
nope, gotta go the good old route and educate yourself on current meta and valuable affix combos to profit ^^
Gotcha, thanks. Might stick to cof then
just asking because i never tried... are slammed legendaries available to sell on the market? or are allowed only items from unique and below?
Yes, you can buy and sell them. In order to list one though, you must have gotten both the exalt and LP unique yourself in MG - if you bought either from the bazaar so they have MG tag, the slammed legendary will have an MG tag and be unsellable.
this is precisely the reason i'm considering going MG for the first time ever since the factions introduction update, those T7 +skills are build enabling and dropping them even with CoF is not realistic
unless you luck out massively
The new runes will help (for both factions), but yeah it's rough for CoF sometimes
If you play a heavy meta build it's not that much easier in mg either
Im looking at 1.0 t7 frostclaw relic
if you can believe me, i've dropped on 3 T7 + chtonic fissure armors 2 of them well rolled. And at least another 2 relics with T7 infernal shade. My warlock was my successful build not just because the skill is op, but i had legitimate luck with the basic drops. It ended up fast when it was the time do do slams but at least it was the only build that made me go to 550 corruption and beat aberroth
Now i'm currently playing storm totem to have fun before the nerf and as punishment the drops are horrifying. Never even seen a T6 + storm totem.
To be honest i hate that there are so many affixes on body, head, relic without counting the experimentals. And now that champion affixes are entering the picture, I'm having a literal meltdown
All it means is you gotta use glyph of chaos more often hoping for a good result. Or reroll it with a new rune. Game's giving plentiful opportunities for character prog you just need do a little more than just read the mods for it to work :D
Keep in mind you can sell items with LP or leggies before you reach the rank to buy them (Rank 10 for weps, 11 for armor). Which is a couple days of grind if you're playing casually.
Also might be worth mentioning the rigid dichotomy in LEs Bazaar and other arpgs trading tendencies :D You'll have better luck buying an item with LP then slamming it on your own than searching for a leggy with the stats you want, because almost noone is selling those here, only bricks from eggs (exceptions apply ofc).
yeah i suspected that none sells good slams but i was curious about it
i don't understand what good can do a glyph of chaos when the item doesn't already drop with the T6-T7 i need (at least in current 1.1 it seems they will finally solve the problem with next patch)
Mostly applies to hybrid health fishing but quite useful when you need skill shards or any particular rare ones too.
So last i played was season 1 1st half, i heard there was a reset due to exploits etc ruining MG, how is the MG nowadays compared to CoF? Im mostly a solo player but I like trading
if you truly like trading(ie you cannot play any arpg game without trading) - then MG for sure
if you only like the benefit of being able to trade - then it depends on how are you planning to play the season: how much hrs are you willing to put into at the season start, how long are you planning to continue playing, how many characters you're trying to get done and to how much degree you're trying to deck them all out
I usually play seasons for at least 150-200 hrs and do 1-2 chars, I guess i have some trauma from past MG that it gets screwed over every time with dupes etc. That ruined it, BUT i do love trading, but not opposed to trying CoF out once
yeah the exploits really messed up MG
for the 150-200 hrs that you're spending, if a majority of those is at the start of the season(like 6hrs a day for 2 weeks straight, then continue the rest of season for 1hr/day) when the market still active then MG for sure.
But there are ppl who also play 150-200hrs a season, but only 1 hr/day for 3 months - those i would suggest going COF
I see, what about if i join now before season to prep for the next season?
@dusk sedgea new season is a new game from scratch, you can't prepare for it
👆🏽
Hello I have found a 4lp xithara's conundrum necklace, how much is it worth? there s only 3 lp in the market :/
Post it for goldcap, chances are it'll (probably) sell. It's used in a couple builds. Weaker 4LPs are listed for anything from 600 to 1500m
I did not mean literal prepping my char, just in general refamiliarsing myself with the game mechs endgame etc. I have played since S0, just wondering if it's worth going to MG this late in the season
wow really?
It's gonna take some time cuz there are few ppl playing, if you're willing to wait then sure. If you want it to sell fast then gotta settle for less xd
I'd rather try to sell it before the end of season so I can buy some stuff, do u think it'd sell quick for 100m?
in legacy it'll sell for 100m in an eyeblink, idk about cycle - went cof this time around
I see thank you
Are there players that seriously camp specific NPC for item they want? xD
maybe not right now, but during fresh I'm usually sitting at bazaar for about 2-4hours after every sesh xD
i personally know someone wrote a script to camp snipe items at 1.0
jesus christ
how to shorten your SSD lifespan by 200% and feed money to your electrical energy provider 🤣
No, I doubt it will sell at all for $100m. When there were 4 LPs on the market, they were $5-$10m, so I would think roughly $20m would be the highest that anyone might pay. You can certainly try to list it at whatever you'd like, but chances are it won't sell if it's too expensive, especially when 3 LPs are $300k or so.
how do you make money on your first character while leveling then? and be in time to take full advantage of the active market?
anybody got a stormcarved testament they are looking to sell?
I've previously sold Phantom Mire Gloves for 1.5bil while there were other listed for cheaper. Given, it had almost all the top rolls. And because 4LPs are a seller market. If supply is almost non-existant dedicated people will eventually cave in and buy what is offered. Difference between 3LP and 4LP might not seem big but it is significant.
thank you
That was probably in previous cycles when there was a gold exploit right? In this season, there's no way someone could buy an item for $1.5b even if they wanted to. Things that are priced over $100m aren't selling at all and its been like that the whole season. Fingers of the phantom mire at 4 LP have been listed as high as $40m this year and yes some may have sold, but the vast majority of ones that do sell are priced below that, which is why you can see 1 lone fingers at 4 LP listed for $10m. That person is trying to sell theirs and probably had them listed higher previously. This is how markets work in the world in general, just because something is listed super high doesn't mean it can sell that high. The only time anyone bought anything with $1.5b gold it probably means they benefited from the gold exploits or were exploiting things themselves.
It was last year I believe, whether before or after event I don't really remember. I've never exploited anything and still sit on 2.2b gold. Not sure about total amount but 4 billion gold has come and gone through me alone for sure. Wish I could spend this gold on 4LP items but guess what - I just can't find any that I want posted. Not for 100m nor for 1000m not for gold cap either. Because they either don't exist or get bought before I can check in on them. Gaming markets aren't real world markets too, perfect items that are as scarce as Area 52 aliens should and will cost enormous amounts. It was the case with Diablo 2 20 years ago, I don't see why it can't be the case with Last Epoch in current day and age. The problem here is that the remaining 1.5k LE players are either poor or play CoF more like.
You don't casually get billions of gold in a normal LE economy
You didnt actively do the exploit, but that amount of gold you could accumulated was the result of fked up economy by the exploit
I didn't get a response in ask the community, so I'll post it again here:
Heya! Im working on consolidating all my inventory on the legacy server so im not flooded with all these remove only slots. Problem is that I still need a lot of tabs. Currently on my best char I can farm about ~200-250 corruption. Im trying to make a lot of gold quickly to get more tabs (all my characters are CoF), but its starting to cost a lot. What would be better:
- Continue farming 200+ corruption maps, or;
- Make a merchant guild character and just farm stuff to vendor?
I've never made a character with the merchant guild and I don't know what the economy is like on legacy.
Depending on how many you've already unlocked you'll need between 100 and 150 million gold. If you want all of them. With CoF you could probably farm up around 150-200k/hr which will put you at around 750 hours 🤷♂️ With MG that can be trivialized by one lucky drop that sells. Every tool there is, is in your hands.
I dont think ill need anywhere close to the maximum, but idols are gonna eat quite a bit, etc.
Still, is MG lucrative for selling decent but not necessarily BiS items here and there? I'd rather not put all my eggs in that basket of finding the one God drop, but if I can sell good affixes with nice ranges every few runs, then that sounds feasible. Also keeping in mind that this is compared to farming higher corruption.
Basically im weighing whether its more lucrative to invest my time into pushing further into corruption or whether its better to lvl a MG character and just sell stuff in lower corruption instead of focusing on trying to make them better.
Its very stale but 4LPs and genuinely good items that MG folks happen to want sell fast even now. Wish there was more supply but Legacy is what it is
i recently started a character for this faction to familiarize with the system
it's pretty clear that items marked with COF faction can't be used
i've noticed a category of items that i can actually use but i can't list and they are marked with "cannot be traded"
what happened with those?
Every items dropped while you're in cof cannot be traded
But only those which was dropped by COF effect has a cof tag
So i have a legendary axe that is tagged "Cannot be traded". I can't post the screenshot here. The only clue is that she was upgraded through nemesis seed. Does the process make items account bound?
Is there a place here for WTB / WTS
no because there is no direct player 2 player trading
No, only way to find items with the "Cannot be traded" tag is being in CoF when the item is generated.
So like, if you were in CoF when that nemesis generated with its items, its items would remain untradeable even if you swapped to MG before they actually dropped
i'l report it as a bug, because it does not have the mark of MG or COG
reported here #1210284436831076402 message
All items that generate while you are in CoF get "Cannot be traded" if they don't have the CoF tag
Basically it's so they don't have to tag every item with CoF
I don't understand. From what i'm seeing the items that rolled with benefit of COF modifiers are marked with the purple symbol and the COF rank required and not only they can't be traded, they can't be used by a character aligned with MG.
That axe is different. I can use it with my MG char.
Yeah, so when you're on CoF and an item is rolled without benefit of CoF modifiers, it gets "Cannot be traded". These can be used by MG characters, but cannot be sold.
The reason it does this is so that it's not so painful to swap from CoF to MG and also so if you are playing coop with someone in MG you'll still be able to gift them some things they can use.
Because before they added "Cannot be traded" tag, the original plan was just to have all items you find in CoF have the CoF tag
direct player 2 player trading has been disabled for some time
MG serves just that doe xD Even for those of us that'd rather want to use resonances.
Anyone have issues where the game crashes looking at vendors
direct player to player trading is vastly different than the bazaar
if you're familiar with WoW - its Auction House vs trading with a player by right clicking a specific player
resonances is gifting, which is a 3rd different system
resonances/gifting still works fine
my original response was in relatin to WTS/WTB - resonances would not apply
Right, but would it stand to reason that trades could still be conducted by a player requesting that another player list their item in the auction house therefore resulting in a trade of sorts?
sure but anyone could buy it - and that is not by definition player to player trading
no gurantee who you want to buy it, could - also there is no names on the Bazaar
Yes I realize that but it could still function as pseudo-p2p trading.
If I'm looking for a specific item and someone agrees to list it for me for a specific price it's a solid chance it wont be purchased by someone else within a few seconds.
There was p2p trading, but it got disabled
Because a lot of exploit was done via p2p trading
Is there a way to check items and prices on the bazaar outside of the game?
another question, am I missing some way to price check an item or the affixes must be all manually set up in the search at the correct stall?
How rare is a Front of Erased with 22 weaver will stack? And how much? I listed it at 80mil
Yes you need to search the affixes at the correct vendor
Will p2p trade return and can it be in 1.2?
nono i meant a system where you put the item somewhere and the search automatically populates the affixes in the search to allow you to compare your item to similar items and put a price
Nope nothing like that nice idea tho
Is the MG search functionality better now compared to 1.0?
yeh we have ranges now and stuff, absolute lifesaver for idol browsing, some items are still missing it though
Thanks!
Press Y
We need to have ranges for uniques also
Anyone has acccess to the MG discord? i am in need of a loot filter for MG
i think u better to make ur own filter as MG filter can hide essentials for u or other stuff u might need
and its better for u as u will gain experience of making own MG filter to make money for quick character build
but i would give u generic advices...
keep all t6t7 exalted +skill levels
keep wands with crit multi/cast speed
keep crit multi on some other bases
keep CDR on belts t7, MS on boots
in general its not that hard to make MG filter tbh
Thank you! this help, i found some public MG loot filters and included rules for my own Hydra build, but i ran out of rule space, so this is helpful
Could you tell us where you found those filters? Thanks
What's the lowest amount of gold you guys find is worth your time to list something?
20-50k per item
stacking lots of these can actually land u a good chunk of gold
I have never played merchants guild. I suppose it is better when a lot of players play game In early season. How does faction swap from merchants to cof looks like? What happens with items what I bought? They are locked to merchant faction right?
you cant use items with MG tag if you swap to COF
whats the best way to farm gold for MG?
u play the game, there is no best way besides doing highest corruption u can fast
anyone know if there's a price-checking tool of some sort? trying to figure out how to price an amulet but all the listings I see are in the millions
no
there is this thing
but it's not updated for almost a year. And even when it was still being updated it was not that correct
if you're asking for something like poe sidekick there arent any
ah okay, I'll just switch to CoF then
Merchant noob here; when there isn't much active players like now, what is the good ways to make gold ?
kill monsters
preferrably at high corruption
OK thanks
i'm coming back to the game what will 100m get me in the action house?
lol
I just had a sobering thought. It will take me over 3.5 years to save up for a Red Ring if I'm able to sell 5 items per day at 30k each. 😢
You can definitely make more money than that when the market is active
Yeah I came late to the party 😅
so when the next cycle comes the MG will be MUCH more active right?
ive been playing MG and most items there were listed 150+ days ago lol
yeah we are at the worst period => not many people, end of cycle, but 17th April is SO HYPED, it's a massive release with ton of new content, it'll be way way way way way MUCH better
maybe you are 100 people still playing MG ; add few "0" for release
specially first 3 weeks
wow
so if i look for an item
its guaranteed to be there?
when the items start coming into the market?
After a few time sure, IF people are seeling it (that's the bad point)
i don't know never played MG, but after a week, streamers and people that play 26h/day should sell all kind of items
Never guaranteed if the item is niche, and people don't sell it because they think "nobody will buy it"
of course
but you get what I mean right like more active more items
more chance for me to find them
guaranteed, for exemple Exalted T7 items, uniques
hey what made you a COF player? I
I'm new and don't know too much about it
i only play SSF HC (solo self found - hardcore) : i leaved POE long time ago, was so tired of TRADING so i develop "hate" for it, if i trade => i don't spend time "playing"
too much time to search / found item, too poor or slow to buy it, so no trade Anymore . + CoF is really good for SSF in LE
The other commun argument for stoping MG :: people farm 1 weeks, buy all stuff, make a alt => buy all stuff = game is finished and become boring
i "could" have done around 400, the problem is some ennemy are no balanced, so corruption 100 covenant or goat hit harder than 600 corruption skeleton
wow im at 600 corruption and ive died plenty of times
Generally, i want to go lvl 100, not hight corruption, it changed with Harbinger / aberroth
so you havent killed aberroth?
Hardcore is just another type of game / gameplay, should not flood MG channel :p i killed him this cycle with Lich - NEcro - Voidknight, BUT my Lich died "trying to put an item in nemesis"
oh wow
Technically i died before, but i think i could do it next Cycle
ive liked trading ever since POE so that's why I chose MG
but yeah its rough seeing the leftovers that never got sold
Yeah u'll enjoy next cycle for sure, btw MG is the Best way to Max your build
so when you get a prophecy you choose the item that you want to be replaced
and hope it drops it?
like a relic
with a certain t7
CoF can be very frustrating, can't found T7 on weapon
buf HC does not help me ; prophecies : have to be right item, not in dungeon, not in arena, or hight corruption....
maybe the new faction will solve that problem
I think finding late item will be improved, have to wait 11th
Yep !
is there a HC that ever got 1000 corruption and managed not to get 1 hit?
sure if you farm enough items / broken builds exploit / only play 1 tanky char in MG
or if you have divine reflexes, you "could" dodge everything
yeah im not great at dodging...
bosses mostly
shade is hard for me because of meteor
Same ><" But 1000 corruption, if the monster are "slow and easy", with a range build = no problem
affixes in echo have a lot of impact (crit avoid / dodge / enrage / deadly)
whats your current class right now?
None i "finished", i made Lich minigun (stygian), Erasing strike VoidKnight and Wraithlord Necro -- realease i'll play a lot of builds
I've done Spellblade and Bladedancer
So the last time I played trade (ie Merchants Guild) in LE the experience wasn't great - clumsy, awkward, limited search ability, no ability to gauge the market etc.
How is it now?
Also ./sulk that I have a newbie flag back even though I'm not a newbie :).
The search ability has been improved so you can select roll ranges (except for unique/set items, I guess that's still WIP, but it's a godsend for idols) and it's less clumsy than it was on launch. I think the rest is still the same.
Thank you
hello anyone with connection problem>??
never played merchants guild before, should i add a thing in my loot filter to highlight "high value" items?
are rares and exalts even something that gets traded?
@subtle relic yes
should i set it up to highlight specific bases with like specific mods or is it just setting it to highlight good bases with high tier affixes good enough
both
Hey, I'm kinda new to the game. I've mostly played PoE 1 Trade so far. Is trading a real thing in this game, especially if I'm not playing a lot?
It’s supplementery method of getting gear with a lot of restrictions
it's for sure not supplementary if you're playing MG
it's a real thing, but do not expect being able to get GG items if you're not playing a lot
but i guess that's common sense
Hey lads, also kinda new to MG:
I've read some reddit threads about a discord channel for price checking items named sanctum market but I can't seem to join that server. Is it still a thing?
If not - is there an alternative resource to know at least what uniques/items are valuable or is it something we need to do manually?
still a thing, if you want an invite link you can dm me, but idk if it still works or not
also it has been inactive since the start of 1.1 becuase of gold glitch. high chance that if there are no problems with the economy, it's gonna be active again
Ok 👌
@novel geyser trow me a inv also and question for all this tread where i can find a MG lootfilter
thx in advance
how expensive is a 1lp horn of uhkeiros?
i deleted my market character 3 months ago
or a 1lp event horizon?
trying to figure out if i want to go MG or FG, depending on the prices
Prices now would be useless information unfortunately, as prices basically go exponential over time in MG, the numbers would be meaningless
is it generally easy to buy a 0-1LP harbinger unique?
my planned build will be pretty weak without it
In the first week so long as no dupe/gold thing happens, yeah
and won't be able to kill any harbingers unless i have it, a catch 22 lol
after that stuff just slowly goes completely off the rails in MG
so unless i know how to abuse some kind of gold making mechanics, i'm better off going fortune faction?
I think in your particular case, your best might be going MG, buying the harbi unique, killing the harbi to get a drop of that same harbi unique, then swapping to fortune.
(If you need that item in order to kill the harbis in the first place)
wait, if i swap to fortune, won't i be unable to equip anything? or will that drop that i picked up be able to be equipped?
you will be prompted to unequip all items that are tagged to your current faction before you can leave it so naturally you'll either have to start from scratch or prepare untagged items beforehand
so is the harbinger weapon that dropped be untagged?
or will it automatically be tagged to mg?
I forget the specifics cuz its a little whacky, MG=orange icon/tag, CoF=purple icon/tag, then there are untagged items but they still cant be traded if dropped in CoF iirc
Only items you buy on the Bazaar are MG tagged
Or when an item you merge into a legendary has MG tag, the legendary gets MG tag
ye basicly all items that came from faction-specific options/functions are tagged
Correct. The one you buy will be tagged, but if you use that one to go farm another the newly dropped one won't have a tag.
Sorta same with CoF, only the "bonus" loot it generates gets tagged, your normal loot is untagged
oh i never knew that. cool
but untagged cof loot cant be traded anywho so yeh theres confusion around it sometimes xD
Can you sell intagged items? Or do they become tagged once you buy them?
Actually, youre not able to sell tagged items to prevent item flipping, right?
correct
What if i buy an lp unique and make a good legendary, can i flip that or will it keep the tag?
Legendary has the tag if either of the items used had the tag
cant resell anything on MG period, if its bought from it - its urs forever :D
Did they fix trade yet or are they dying on this hill
Terrible design
Kekw
I think its awesome and healthy for the intended gameplay loop. And it discourages flippers and other bad actors. They can still do it just inspite but at that point ure beyond salvation anyway 🤷♂️
great design
aw man the tariffs taxes got to Eterra too... now gotta pay 1,725 billion for capped stuff 🫡
Restrictive design is always sad, because people abuse it you can't "" PL your friend (the one with 4 wife 12 kids and 5 jobs) and give him stuff to play together "" -- Because billions bots and exploit will come
Yeah little sad about it, I have friend in this situation (6 wive, 18 kids, 3 graveyard shift jobs, leads a cult in free time) and would love to boost him so he'd be more willing to play
What do you mean „fix”
Ahh i get it
Then no
I can't stay at hideout all day and accumulate so much more items then someone blasting maps and killing all the monster
truly a terrible design of a trade system

can't make a living from rmt !
how am i supposed to feed my family then
💀
New minimum pricing : (totally not photoshoped) #📚┃off-topic message
cof or merchants guild? all those new itemization updates make it seem way more easy to brute force craft the item you want rather than farm money to buy it
to be fair you still have to kill monsters and get the favor necessary for the transactions
Is it easy to price check items as MG? I've always been CoF
Can you price check items at any time?
no u need to go to bazar
Does someone know how I can get faster Reputation in mg? Im doing empowered monos but its still slow xd
yeah but it's incredibly convoluted for exalted and idols, you have to input manually everything
I've asked if they could put a feature to copy at least the type, base and item affix to the search filters but it's crickets. It makes sense because it could lead for some bot, but at this point the faction is too annoying for this reason
do empowered monos on 1k cor
Can you buy an item, craft on it, then resell?
No
same fore UNique => make it legendary => resell
litteraly unplayable, no div/hour ; no flipping, can't speculate or price fix, no rmt ?! check those prices :#📚┃off-topic message
is the Auction house interfac changed alot ? i played LA when the multiplayer came out and those factions , it was such a pain to post or find and item.. has it changed since ?
i've only went CoF so far, realistically, what are the odds of me taking full advantage of MG's potential for minmaxing unless i guess and study the meta myself (with a lack of knowledge, as again, it would be my first time in MG). as in any economy, not many people share their secrets on what sells, even less loot filters, even the infamous MG discord seems to be out of the way of people's access unless you directly seek it
on top of all of that, what are the odds that a gold or items dupe would ruin the economy and make MG utterly irrelevant? is there hope that they actually fixed it? (two of my friends are not optimistic about it when i did ask them)
the last time there was a "league" (the event) there was no dupe
so i am relatively confident
it would be ok
they just need to fix the tax implementation
cuz it sounds actually so unplayable the way they are implementing it
i dont want to whip out a calculator to sell every item for right price
Well-rolled idols and t7 class affixes, high LP uniques. There really isn't much more to it than that
If you really want to go the extra mile, look at the top build guides on LE tools and youtube and price those items/affixes higher
With Rune of Havoc, any item with a t7 affix and a desirable class-specific affix will also be worth buying if it has good forging potential
oh yeah haven't played properly since release- they did fix searchable modifiers in the bazaar right?
yeh for all items but uniques xd still cant search thresholds for them
Is merchant guild better than fortune? Sometimes is easier buy that unique item than drop it
Hell yeah MG is better. It might take a COF player to farm a item they for a week, as us MG players have a higher chance of dropping it and buying it. Would you rather wait a week real time for a item rather then getting one day delivery lol
there's no better, one can be better at certain time period depends on some factor. Choose based on what you want to play instead
if you want to trade -> MG
if you dont want trade -> COF
easy
i like hoarding wealth and the trading interaction so
I am in MG. lets say I make a new alt in Legacy. That alt joins the CoF. Will my MG main benefit off of the level effects of CoF?
Well MG has sucked at the start every time due to the level limitations and everyone selling items for 0 gold because they didn't understand how leveling it up works
I wonder if there have been any changes to this
nope
if that''s the case what's the point of splitting into 2 in the first place?
I see you can't sell things for 0 gold and there's a tax while buying now but I'm still worried that exalted items will be cheaper than rares for the same stats again just because nobody will be able to buy them
It pushed me to hold on to my very good exalted items instead of selling for dirt cheap
And I ended up dropping the game before the curve of players got to the point where they could buy them to make the prices go up again
no catch
It wouldn't be fun because it means my own diamonds are also worthless
And it's not giving you a diamond it's giving you a diamond that you can't trade back
Which means even the market doesn't bother correcting the prices
Since you can't resell
i cant see any reason why ppl giving their throwaway for free
maybe for good grace
maybe becuase they want to get rank fast
i cant see why that would be a problem
Because I enjoy selling things
And if everything is extremely undervalued I might as well play CoF
I'm exaggerating but I hope you get my point
i do get your point
my point is that
you have no control over it
so you live with it
or you dont
that's it
It's not like there is no active development going on in this game
do i want everyone and their mama who participate in the economy knows everything abt it?
yes
maybe
do i have control over that? nope
I think the system can be improved
I think it would make more sense to not be able to sell things until you're high level in the MG than buying
Or maybe you can buy everything at level 4 or 5 but you can only sell everything at level 7
Either way this is not a good system
Depends what you want, I would like it to be even more restrictive
People had no idea how to price items and with new runes and crafting option they will have even less idea
Trade discord is not much active and good item filter will be hard to get
So it will be even bigger shitshow, difference is with power creep and new monos you will probably level factions a lot faster
could anyone send me an invite to The Sanctum Market discord? Every link i find from googling is expired
appreciate you
can you send it to me aswell?
Done
Hi all, i havent played since 1.0, i was wondering how price checking items as MG is nowadays? back when i played it was a huge pain, wondering if there were meaningful improvements?
@compact patio could i get a link as well please ❤️
I'd love the link aswell! Decided to try MG this time around
as i saw u can search by % of affix so its better now
In case people need a link in the future, i posted it in the server share channel. #💽┃server-share message
Was hoping you could like click a button on your item to set the affix filters to match that item (within a range) and then just click off/edit the filters
But seems like it's still a very manual process
Yeah, not sure if its ok with discord rules
Ah yes, forgot about this channel
Thanks : D
Sweet, thank you!
If i bought Exalted from bazaar and use it as fodder to make Legendary,
Does my Unique (No Faction) become bind to Merchant Guild?
Yes
Is there still a place to find a market loot filter for LE?
Did merchants guild get that ui overhaul or is it still a clunky mess?
Not much, depends when you played Last time.
is there an ultimate loot filter for merchants/market?
just t7 especially skills + uniques lol
I PRAY there are no dupes this season 🙏
Filter for meta idols for each top build, t7 affixes, + all skills, and generally valuable t6 affixes (hybrid health, movement speed, stats, etc).
you miss a lot of expensive gear if you do this
Which filter did you use?
This is what made me quit in 1.0, and not come back for harbinger patch. But this new update is looking amazing. So I am hype, hopefully they've got a lot of that squared away, and the new changes to MG and trading are going to help against RMT as well
I'm thinking about trying MG this league, quick questions:
- Can you trade items you've equipped?
- Can you trade items you've crafted?
- How is situation with favor, you're limited by favor, or by getting items to sell?
- How bad is going MG on meta build? Like, if I'm planning something like HS which is going to be super popular, will I even be able to buy any meta items for build?
1 - yes
2 - as long as you only use items you dropped(not bought) for the craft
3 - favor can be a bottleneck early on, once you've played enough hrs it no longer a problem
4 - meta build item will always be expensive, but since you play the meta itself you can sell those items too. It all depends on how much you play and how efficient you play
Can you share MG gear with a brand new non MG character that you just created?
I assume you can't but I've seen so many people claiming online that you can
If item have a tag you need to be in faction to wear it
There is no ifs or buts
Tag=faction
If you join mg on your alt he can wear mg gear
I dont have it anymore but im sure some people will make very good loot filters for the MG
When you make a reroll, you can join a guild almost instantly ( between lvl 5 and 10 something like this, and your character will have the same lvl reputation as your main ) so you can give him all the uniques you want for a super fast lvling
Right but the items are still locked to MG and the new character has to join MG?
Got it thanks
Yeah, but you can still change later if you want
You can shatter mg items, right? Ostensibly being able to buy/sell affix shards
which one is faster to get build going cof or mg? Ive done cof but i cba the favors + too many items raining :D is it possible to get 3-4LP items from merchant shop? How ppl see MG ?
possible? yes
will you have enough gold to buy them before someone else did? that's for you to answer
especially for popular meta items, you can be damn sure that the moment they exist on the market, somebody would buy them instantly
yep true, so CoF in the long run is easeir to get 3-4LP items? I found 2LP items quite easy to get with CoF. Just rly wanna try merchant guild, just wondering how it plays out... like how comparable they are, prolly wont make that many characters. ppl been telling MG is better for multiple characters, CoF if u do only 1 char
MG has a higher power floor, as you can just buy baseline uniques, but lower power ceiling, as it gets hard to get LP3~LP4 meta uniques, first of all having the rank to buy them, then having the option they are listed, then having enough gold to buy them and finally being fast enough to buy them.
CoF is harder to get started, but once it's going you probably will have higher power in the late/endgame.
will try MG, so 0-2LP uniques prolly easier to get from MG, the ones needed to get build rolling.
u can always swap faction tho it resets to 0 :p
If i remember correctly, it resets to the highest you unlocked. The main issue is gear is tagged where it comes from, so you can no longer wear faction specific gear.
If you want a 'best of both worlds':
- Start in MF, buy key uniques.
- Farm timelines to get untagged versions of key uniques.
- Switch and level CoF.
- Try to farm higher LP versions of key uniques and use the increased Exalted spawnrate to legendary them.
Only open question is: how good are set items/set shards.
(Could theoretically abuse MG to buy a ton of set items to shredder them into set shards, which are untagged...)
just dont know how MG loot feels, since only done CoF where items rain. But I like the idea of MG if I get a useless "4 LP " item, i can just sell it and buy an item I want.
not sure about the prices tho :D like all 4LP items 100m+?
Dunno, hard to tell.
someone doing good weaver tree for making money in mg?
You missed 1 step: spend all your favors as MG so you don't lose em
Cof only rain loot as prophecies. As normal loot they are only slightly better than mg, except for exalted really. And exalted stuff can be easily bought from store, plus you only need a few in 1.2.
I honestly wish all the merchants would sell from 1 pool, but even at the current state it's extremely easy to gear up an alt using MG. Like if you're the type to like having multiple builds, MG is for you. Pretty much every non-meta uniques are super cheap, and meta stuff you can at least set as goals with each of your drops. Not like cof where everything is pretty much pulls of a slot machine.
"You want item a for build b? Did you keep it? No? Then have fun farming & rerolling the prophecies until it drop." And that is for 1 item. Repeat for everything you need per char.
And that's not going on how bad the stash filtering is for cof. In a perfect world, stash would have mg store filtering, and mg would have in-stash pricecheck or something. But nope.
yeah
MG benefits from finding random LP 4 items u dont need urself
sell one, get alot of cheaper build items
also making 2nd char sounds easier when u get alot of gold/favor :P
So totally begginer never play ARPG before which one better MG or COF?
Especially since your 2nd char has access to Bazar at Act 1, allowing you to buy leveling uniques.
MG is easier to get started.
My pov as someone who always played MG because i love auction house : If you play a superpopular build, you will have trouble to find meta item with LP3/4, they will be very expensive, same for the idols, as long as you dont play the most popular build, it's super easy to have insane gear
i'm pretty sure heartseeker items will be so expensive
i remember when i played the runemaster frostclaw build, it was probably 10/20 times more expensive than my warpath build xD
Yeah, though I would recommend to always keep +skill level items showing on your filter so you can Remove/shatter shards off them, even for off-meta skills in case you wanna build them.
I've never played cof to super high levels, but isn't it the same for lp 3-4 meta stuff for cof? Coz meta stuff is usually rare drop right..at least with mg you got a goal to farm to
yeah, need to keep them for sure, you never know because i remember last season i had one +4 skill, i dont remember wich one, that had almost no value, then someone made a popular build with this spell and i was able to sold this item for 100+m
Even +1?
This item are super rare anyway, i agree and that why i prefer MG, i can farm and sell things that other people will buy, to buy my own bis items
Just need to know a bit the market, and have a decent filter
A shard's a shard.
Fair enough. But I would rather buy 0-gold low skils item & break them down 😊
Judging by the ladder, MG is has the higher ceiling. Which makes sense, perfect items are nearly impossible to rng into, whereas with MG if you farm long enough you can eventually buy it
what ladder r u talking about?
At this point it's very late in the season ofc so even CoF can get perfect items, but earlier on it was dominated by MG.
Oh ok, still pennies
i maxed cof and mg in season 1 and the biggest problem i had with cof was, that i never got worthwile exalted items to slam onto my 3lp uniques. with mg i had more 2lp uniques, but they were perfectly optimized
Honestly depends on if there's gold shenanigans like the past few times. Then mg feels like a giant waste of time
Honestly even with dupes the only things I couldn't afford are Red Rings and like... 4LPs which are going to be expensive regardless of such thing present.
Anyone cooked already a mg filter? 🤓
How can I join? 😛
Usually someone here can invite if you wait and ask
try#💽┃server-share 🫡
Thanks will check
can u sell crafted items on MG? What about crafted items that u have used for lvling? CAn u sell them to MG? if it has 2 LP for example?
I wonder where to get filter for MG/Heartseeker, or should i just use the normal endgame filter? DOes MG need own type of filter that takes some cash items into account?
Also if u drop 3-4LP items on CoF, can you move to MG and sell them in auction house? Or are they immediately marked as CoF items, that u cannot sell?
Anything cof found gets an untradable mark
Any crafting material used that has any untradable mark on it, will make the finished material untradable
• you can sell crafted items, you can sell previously equipped items that you dropped yourself
• you can't re-sell items purchased in MG
• filters are very subjective pick whatever you prefer the best
• CoF items can't be sold at MG at all, even those that are not tagged with purple CoF tag are personal use only (swapping factions will prompt you to unequip ALL current gear with that specific faction tag, untagged items serve as personal use to re-gear)
did they lock the sanctum market discord invite behind a paywall? the only way i can find to join is by paying lol
It was posted in #💽┃server-share i believe
yeah, one year ago and the invites aren't working anymore
Last week yesterday
thanks. was looking for keywords to find it
Yeah I actually found it by searching in this channel haha
Couldnt find it in there anymore
Hi guys!
Did we have some upgrades to the merchant guild?
Is the funtionality to add the item stats iin the research with 1 clcik finally in?
what monolith webs ppl targent on MG? just go higher corr, or just target unique node?
Gonna take you like 5 clicks but yeh search has been improved on everything except for uniques
Well, since there are tools like PoE trade where you cna click an item and it tells you the live price, I hoped for a major overhaul of the search function in LE
yh maybe in 1.3 💀 idol sliders gonna do it for me for time being I guess
It is true that we don;t really need to trade a lot, but still it shouldn't bne this complicated to price check items xD
Did any1 with a big brain make a goated MG Woven web yet? xd
only insiders have that kinda info yet 👀 depends whether champions are going to be as lucrative as I think
uber abby drops gonna be the 💰💰💰 for sure
Yeah ofc
I wont be competing for that coz I know I'm terrible at the game so lmao
I don't care about uber abby for now xD
Just looking for a decent web for MG thas all
:d
We haven't seen fraction of MG power yet because of bad player retention and many people leaving after 1-2 weeks
what do ppl target on MG to make alot of coins? Target corruption +++ or just unique rewards? What would make the best mani to get items from AH
depends on the meta. hard to say right now. uber abberoth if you want to be sure
🤵♂️ 💸
👍
thats kinda sad tbh, now MG has a ruined reputation and all... rip
Economies in ARPGs are always crazy. Either lots of inflation or lots of deflation. Getting in on early economy is usually best anyways.
You can sell anything that builds will use to craft like t7 exalted items some will be more expensive than others depending of the mets and high LP uniques
Honestly i think MG has been suffering a lot more from the bad search mechanics
Also bad pricecheck since you need to check one by one vendors, rather than a common pool. MG suffered more from "friction" rather than anything else
Still the devs think MG is way too good, hence the tax 🤣
Tax mainly helps keep prices lower, makes MG better for people starting a lil later
Wdym? Can you elaborate please? Buyers pay more right
Currently in game, there's no reliable gold sink, so gold just moves around while items get permanently removed from circulation when traded. That results in a lot more gold sitting around than items on the market, causing inflation to run away relatively quickly. Having some gold burn away reduces the total amount of gold in the economy, so prices tend to stay lower.
That's the theory, anyway - we'll see how it goes in practice
What does everyone use for trade filter under MG?
I make my own, it's not hard.
MG weaver tree
Focus on champions x loot lizards which shit out tonnes of exalteds, glyphs/rune drop turned into random rewards and favor
I've never ever heard of "tax lower prices" in economy
At least irl
Real world economics are much more complicated and typically don't get sucked into a void periodically
That and scarcity isn't artificial irl. In LE the devs can make everyone have 4 LP legendaries and infinite gold with a button push lol.
I got some questions if anyone's free I'd appreciate the answer 🥺
-
Are there any sorta community tools (like say Poe ninja) that catalogue prices of things in MG? Or is the only way to price check still manually going to each specific NPC?
-
Why is it that most people start COF but then change into MG later on? I would think the opposite should happen since lack of stash tabs is the bottleneck in COF.
Who is this "most people" you're talkign abt 🤔
I can see starting as mg to get build enabling items, then farm for the umtagged version of said items
But switching from cof to mg makes zero sense, outside of just completely reset your gear progression
There's literally no upside
For runes?
Only time I hear about it is when someone wants X super specific thing and get frustrated in CoF and swap to MG and just buy it
Yeah once the key farming is gone, i cant find any upside to it
Maybe having a CoF alt will be good for certain things. Like they are getting a proph for weaving runes. If those aren't super common, I could see burning through a bunch from just buying WW items off market or grinding WT idols
what you guys mean by key farming?
Having alt for rune farmin is good idea if you can spare the time
the ones that take you to the boss?
But having alt != switching back and forth
Arena keys used to sell for 5k gold each, and prophs for them are super cheap since nobody really needs the keys, so you could generate a decent chunk of gold selling them
Right, no benefits to that unless you just feel like your faction isn't fun for you
someone said go MG to farm keys... makes no sense
unless you mean to sell for gold and buy stuff
Makes no sense to me either, keys don't vendor for anything worthwhile anymore anyway
Dungeon ones never did
I've heard content creators and the devs themselves say it in interviews so (unless they're lying) its the case
By most I don't mean 90% of players more like 60%+
they are lying
or talking out of their ass
in fact, the system highly discourage ppl from switching back and forth
you'll lose all your favor switching, and can't equip your old items from previous faction
hello sorry for asking here but can anyone help me tp to merchants guild please
Hey thats not quite true
I had a sick strat at launch of LE, you go cof and get shit tons of ascendancy runes and then switch and sell the red rings 😉
👆🏽
Oh missed that
Idk I kinda wanna do MG but CoF also looking juicy this time around
is it even poss to get 3-4LP items as MG when farming bosses? Also what should u target for mg money? Only unique webs or what? :P
Can MG buy dungeon keys from other merchants?
yep happened to me, i was mostly farming in corru 800 and got 2 4LP items + some 3LP
just cant choose between devouring orb/heartseeker, I wonder if heartseeker /bow build items will skyrocket and be so expensive on MG:.
Is it possible to have a build tailored filter that also highlights high value items for trade?
Yes.
My top rule starts with recolor (red) item -> unique -> 3LP or 20 weavers will
So i wanna put the trade filter rules above my primary filter rules?
did repgain and tiers get any notable changes since 1.0?
soo guys, i'm going MG.
i guess that the standard filter to use in mono will have T7 affixes, double T6. Will it be worth to include rare single T6 at least for the first week?
Probably yes if you wanna do the effort and if you know all relevant t6s 😄
are they normally the meta class skills, crit, spell crit, crit multi, health%, hybrid health%, hybrid ward, %armor, %armor and reduced crits?
I recommend placing rules for your build on the top
Even though it’s COF if you like to customize your own filters this vid can give you some good ideas
Yea and i would put the +skills in aswell
Let me know if u create one 😀
i will. Will invest the remaining time to check maxroll builds and letools to see what the initial builds will need
Its just that in my experience, trying to filter bases is always fugly, wouldnt i have to include the affixes and base type rules in the same rule?
It’s personal preference now because of new crafting rune you can change all affixes in season 2
Is there some website where i could test if a filter is working? Or should i just try fiddling it ingame
Fiddle in game is the safest, especially if you have any rare items to test with
What kind of things should i have the filter highlight that might be good to sell?
See above
Some class specific idols can also be very lucrative
Ah thanks
But you need to know the builds that use them
What i used to do is
Wait 1-2 days after launch and
Then go thru meta builds and take key items into loot filter
And then blast and make moeny
Alrighty
I imagine also just selling any double exalt items is gonna be lucrative since you can reroll them now
Hm i think only if you get popular base + a +spell skill increase affix
Is probably best to have both affix and item base filter in the same rule
Hmm not sure
Cause you wanna also pickup the very valuable affixes even if ithey dont have the prefer base
Also is it better to filter affixes by tier of individual affix tiers or the sum of tiers?
Alright thansk a bunch
Making my weaver tree atm, zerriks aid gives 185% increased gold drop, this has to be mandatory for MG no?
Hi i cherche loot filter MG for trade ?
it's 7% chance for 185% gold drop increase
~13% more gold drop
welp dropping that node lol
it's still damn good tho
yea but its oppurtunity cost, theres other things i think are more beneficial. (could be wrong)
this is my tree so far
basically rushing to get xp nodes/gold rewards in echos. Then trying to get the tombs cemeteries, and then i juice each echo with champions and the loot they drop
thats an empty planner

Seems fine. Honestly I expect the weaver meta to change a ton in the first week
Mainly depending on stuff with tombs/champs/loot lizards
guys do u have merchant faction filter? Im new and dont wanna miss expensive items
will try to attempt to put together something based on the builds for the 1.2. But the main problem will be to determine what are the most requested items and a correct pricing to not waste the gold for the transaction fee
lots of stuff previously overlooked gonna be popular to some degree
looking for one too.
bad news, the loot filter builder on LETools has not been updated with the new idols. useless to even attempt to make one offline.
same one have loot filter for GM trade ?
whats the best way to get gold now?
farm
based

there appears to be a way to enforce more gold monolith rewards, so that may end up being a thing to do
Play the game. Get favor. Sell stuff on auction house. Repeat.
i heard COF is way better than MG next patch, true?
yeah, there are also % based transaction fees, so you need too price check everything or you will waste both favor and gold.
If we will luck out, we could be in a situation where you can't sell the drop because the price is so high you can't afford the transaction fee
The fee should come out after the sale imo
i really like being able to directly buy the unique I need tho
MG is stronger overall but lots of ppl dont like trading
Or want the dopamine of lootsplosions
Wrong. Fee is paid by buyer.
tbh when i come from work log in and see 20 thigns sold thats also some nice dopamine
I kinda like both in a way. but i dind't play enough last year
Nah, because then youig et people unlisting and relisting to undercut
Its a good design
every other game takes the cut afterwards for a reason
Nuh uh.
?
??
Guild Wars 2 does not, wow does not.
Every other game
what a bold statement
There are fees for both listing, and selling.
It's required to prevent inflation, basic game economy stuff, almost every game does it lol
Not true, but okay
(unless you mean for last epoch, I am referring to other games)
And that fee should be there
I just wanna feel the rush of selling a sweet item
It's simple really. There's never a bad drop with MG. Even in the worse case where the price is 0, you just chuck it in your infinite stash with built-in super good filter. Unlike cof where you need to play the stash management game all the time, with really subpar filter.
So, how long are we thinking season 2 will run before a gold dupe borks the market? :p
I heard that the earlier dupes are all due to the player to player trade. Since they disabled it, it's highly likely that the market is safe. Fingers crossed.
is Merchants fun for fresh season?
MG is arguably the best during start of season, since population is the highest. Cof is good all season long.
Did they make any changes to merchants? I only played COF but was interested in maybe trying it.
it seemed a bit clunky.
Fun? Not in my opinion. Good? Very much so.
They add tax 🤣 but functionally no change. The most troublesome is pricechecking, but with experience you are going to recognize which items are good enough to pricecheck. In the meantime you can use the sanctum loot filter to pick up only the good stuff
anyone found a good MG filter universal? That can be used on league start?
Is there a merchants guild loot filter for this season? This is gonna be my first time trying merchants out.
Can someone send me that Link the to TSM Sever for MG
I wanna try this Faction this time. But i cant use a Loot Filter for my specific Build then or ill miss good loot???
Feel free to click on my profile 🙂
Also you @visual maple
Our filter will probably be around 70 rules so u might have some place for your own rules , if ur planning to play a S or A tier ranked build from maxroll it will be included anyway .
@haughty magnet
Hey THE man himself is here, welcome
Thank you for your hard work, you & other volunteers
Tyvm , appreciate it ❤️
Please @ everyone in the server once you released the filter ya. Everybody is waiting impatiently lol
Of course i will 👍
luca = neversink of LE.... GGG/EHG should put both of yall on a payroll
Appreciate all your effort bro! Can't wait for the 0.2 filter 😄
I can wait.. about 5 hours actually.. HEHE
Can someone confirm so I can let a mate know. COF and MG can you still do them with weaver stuff
Yes
u will get it in time , down worry 😛
okie dokie
guys, which monolith will be more reliable for boss rewards? dragon or end of ruin for gloves for void knights?
like which will be more in demands
no idea which mono would be best, shud i just target own items as MG?
i have a very basic WIP filter
https://www.lastepochtools.com/loot-filters/view/GBOY43Ax
please copy it and make it better, had no time to check if ALL class affixes are used, but I'm pretty sure I removed the useless ones
Same with idols. I preferred to add more
is there a way to filter specific bases without having to have like 10 separate rules for it? i wanna find a way to fit it into the MG filter
Not currently no, need one rule per item type
insanely annoying
anyone giving taxis to Merchants guild? IGN: Criticalyka
Where is the faction joiner in the keeper's camp located?
anyone maybe able to give portal to bazaar?
So now with tax, whats best way to level MG a bit early?
the tax is on the buyer, but it's better to list up some usable items to level the faction. After all you only really need to level it to uniques and exalt. you don't buy legendaries normally, the extra ranks are mainly to have the favor for listings and buyout
Right thanks
anyone maybe able to give portal to bazaar?
same here, anyone willing to tp me to MG?
any pricecheck area?
Do you only get Favor when you list an item or do you get even more Favor when someone buys your item?
@foggy solar I can inv you to a popular MG discord they got loot filters and everything if you want
inv me too please!
Also anyone can taxy me to mg guild? Ign: Kaciuz
Lol it's tsm I'm not aware of other places
As with all "community loot filters" you should make changes yourself.
A lot of them blanket hide exalted items that aren't "good" but might actually be good.
yea I check the exalts
Anyone at or near the MG can help me out with an inv? ty. - ysocereal
There was a whole discord dedicated to this, i left in awhile ago and havent been able to find it since
anyone need a TP to the Bazaar really quick?
still available?
account name?
PM'd 🙂
can you send an invite to Gogmagog? 🙂
Yes! last one then i gotta get back to grinding, only 44 😅 Make sure to pass it along
saying failed to fetch party data.. try inviting me, JarrBearr is my acc name

IGN: Waifu_Crusade

IGN: Zug_Garsup

if you pick merchant guild can you play with the new weaver faction?
yes
the only choice regarding factions is cof or mg
Oh odd it didn't show that there was a new post in that channel but when i clicked it, i saw the post
Always check News ❤️
hey im looking for a tp to bazaar if anyone is free IGN: mageSTACKINGarmour
Uh, if I can't find a +3 bear helmet to price check off of is that just due to things being new
Or am I searching wrong
T6 or higher summon bear is the only thing I was searching
Probably yours will be the only one 😄
hello. any good loot filter?
Ah so just none to compare to yet
LF MG/COF/Anywhere nearby TP please! - ysocereal
both me and my friend are in the same zone, and both in the merchants guild, and we are not able to trade each other directly https://puu.sh/Ks10Q/1be3820e3d.jpg
is there something we are missing? we are in the same party. we should just be able to right click the portrait and trade? we only see the gift option though
guys what's best loot filter for merchant and is there a tool to know price of items ?
any idea on how do I come up with a price for an item?
now thats a question i will leave to your judgement
Anyone at the MG can inv for tp? ty - ign: ysocereal
honestly, I just price T6 at 50 to 80k and T7s at 100k
hope they update this search function also, wish I could just type the name of the unique and search
this is honestly worse than both poe combined, MG has so much friction that I'm just going to swap to COF
??? What do you mean
They removed trading between players
yea MG auction house is so horrible
i would much prefer poe style trade
Why is it horrible?
Yea me too i like to send 150x times and wait 2 hours if someone reply back my message 🙂
There’s so much “scams” with PoE trading. And there’s zero in LE
I don’t know if I should go MG or CoF
In the cof u can find your midgame items so easily
In de MG u can find everything but with gold
Are you willing to research what are the meta builds and then put them into your loot filter? If you’re not willing, go CoF
U have gold u can find best items or midgame items or ex.
Honestly I rather play solo
So u must choose cof
You got your answer
Don’t wanna bother with MG but I’m afraid it might be bad for me if I go CoF
What are the cons for you in CoF?
Even if you go MG, do you have the gold to get something you need asap? Especially if it’s a meta build.
If you’re not selling, how are you gonna have purchase power.
This should be the main question you ask yourself
can someone help with tp to mg?
MG doesn't seem like a good choice for new players. First you have to learn about all the meta builds, what stats they want, use that with loot filters that have very limited number of rules. Then, to start off just to list items costs favor so you can't just put all your loot for sale and see what sells.
On the other hand, in poe, you can just make a bunch of dump tabs where you put all your drops for sale without any cost to get an idea of the market even without awakenedtrade. Currency exchange also helps. Cof probably better for new players, they learn the game properly this way.
Just dload a custom mg filter
Either way anything is better than having to use a browser and spam whispers at afk people for hours
Mg and cof are both way better than what other arpg games have
And it's even worse as a seller always leave your map, in other games
at what level can you choose guilds?
Is peer to peer trading still off or did they turn it back on for season 2?
do you guys have form like bis blessings first or just push corruption for higher gold income
Anyone has an MG filter?
Should I go cof or mg if I’ll only be playing one character?
go cof then. mg is good if you're going to play a lot of different builds and characters
man wraithlord helmet isnt dropping kinda regret going cof
Can some help me tp to mg ? IGN - Killsh0t93

Lol
anyone willing to give me waypoint to MG? IGN-First__Epoch
Can someone explain how to get started in MG? Currently I just see pages and pages of items, all costing more gold than I've ever owned in S1 and no idea how to price my own.
Maybe I should just ignore things until I unlock selling uniques and focus on those as the price seems more stable than rares/exalts?
most people will either price everything really low or really high because you need to list items for favor so just wait mg starts ramping more and more at like day 3 or so
Listing items gains favor? Oh! I thought it cost it.
its both
well thats confusing
Wait I couldnt play much yesterday, are regular popele already prices out of the MG
Guess I'll go COF
no he's talking about people listing an item for 9 billion gold
I mean, even if inflation is hitting hard. You get one good drop and you make a fortune
can someone taxi me to mg. ign is SlayerLuna
is merchant's guild still best for min/max'ing a char? I plan on playing one, maybe two chars this season
Could someone tp me to the bazaar? IGN: Fallgons_pew_pew
Yes but personally MG is so boring, i prefer CoF.
any real good merchant guild filters? i remember there being a discord before
can anyone tp me to mg (IGN Nickboy)
Is there anyone with a functioning good loot filter for this season?
Can anyone hook it up with a port to the merchants guild plz?
Are people just selling items to get more reputation or sth? Some items are 1k gold lol why even list them at that point?
how slow is it to gain fervor in MG compared to CoF?
Yes
I remember that from launch. Cheap stuff
i was thinking of maybe going mercahnts guild but idk what's good on an item. is there any good rules of thumb for what makes rares/exalts valuable besides knowing specific builds?
there are loot filters specifically made for MG
oh sweet! is there a popular one?
thinking about it this time around
im at that decision right now
and cant make up my mind
how difficult is it to make gold in MG?
to for example buy 2 red rings
same, if anyone has mg tp would be super appreciative!
IGN would help
sorry about that ign: Do0ki3
Just me or does search in bazaar not work atm?
same
its down it seems
its very slow I got several errors before it finally let me look something up
Super annoying right when I finally reach rank 9...
Listed an item. Said it couldn't post. now the item is gone from my inventory and not in my stall. RIP?
it will be in the list item slot, it's like a separate hold
or it will have posted but the bazaar is lagging bad
I've never really gotten into the factions before. What's an advantage to picking merchants guild? Is it easy to sell/buy items there?
Can I get MG wp please? IGN: iFIRE
Any recommend on MG lootfilter?
holy crap razorfall is expensive
Alright where are the loot filters that highlight things based on approximate value
Yeah, got mine through rune of ascendance instead after i saw that price lol
how much is a wraithlord helmet?
hi guys, any tips and trick how to lvl up MG faction fast? now at lvl 7
could someone let me tp to them to the majelk district please
How the taxes feel

Here you guys go
who's filter is that
Does Merchants Guild not work on steam deck? Game crashes when I go into my stall
Derp how did I not realise the fastest way to spend favour is with the faction vendor
is there any where i can price check items? cant seem to find a similar one on the market
if its necessary for a build then u can price it whatever u want
what is it
The Kestrel legendary with 119 armor/40% reduced damage taken from crit and 116% of damage reflected
Yeah sorry cant in here, wish i could to spread the word 😅
Is it possible to have someone taxi me to the Merchants guild?
if you dm me i can get you there in like 5 minutes
hey i shot you a dm as well
THANK YOU SO MUCH
<3!!!
how can i search for weawer stout idols with % hp on trade? i dont get it
depends if thers gonna be gold dupe or not
whats the downside for going COF in the beginning then swap to MG later on?
I just started monolith
only downside is if you gonna switch to trade with the same cvharacter you wont be able to use any items you got in cof
oh snap i cant even use it myself? I thought you just wouldn;t be able to trade
i thought the same
oh that's a pretty big drawback then lmao
otherwise it would be cheaty
yeah that's why i was like why would I leveling MG up while continue to play like a COF lol
especially in the beginning
how does trading/gifting between friends work?
do we both need to be in MG? or can we just meet up and trade
Looks like we must play party for a bit too, to generate 'Resonance' which is used for gifting
Not true, you can cross gift. MG only tags items from the bazarr
Can i change faction ?
