It'll be an extremely wet year. Expect torrential rain for days, weeks or maybe even months! Flat areas are extremely prone to flooding. Expect sea levels to have risen by about a meter. It may not seem like much, but it causes a lot of problems. There can possibly be crop damage as well. I'll also see if I can add in a tsunami or few for fun, but they're not guaranteed.

🔥 1910's disaster: Wildfire
Since I don't really want to bother choosing any area, here's what you have to do.
This year will be the "year of arsonists". You should come up with subplots where perhaps some arsonist will try to burn down a forest, some shrubs, maybe a large patch of tall grass. You can also have people from your country try to intentionally sabotage and burn down things from other countries (with permission, obviously).
However, don't worry, you can suppress the fires. Just please don't try to avoid this disaster, like suppressing all fires that the people cause, a lot of rain "not allowing the fire to spread", etc.
If I see no initiative to create your own fires, I will choose some random places for wildfires to start.
