#calico275's suggestion discussion

But do you mean random notifications? Because if they don't have a purpose, they don't have much use, right?
Or you can be more detailed. Since you are practically the one who builds everything in the city, and that includes paying for it.
I think he mean like more specific options and stuff while building your city, I kinda support this but as long as they make it as another mode for your city to build, like extra hard with more stuff to do or whatever
For context.
I mean how like governor's and mayor's IRL have to approve of projects and laws in their jurisdiction.
So random things can't just happen.
For pure example the military can't just test rockets all the time.
Rocket tests have to be approved before they happen.
It's kind of like when you have to approve of the DSA's CEO house being built
You have the option to decline and to accept
I have learned the hard way to decline after he is the cause behind the rocket's malfunction.
You have to be a little more detailed, since the one who builds in the game is you.
So try to be more exact.
For example, you would like that to build roads, you have to build an asphalt industry, buy machinery, and then be able to buy/build roads, that is a complete suggestion, don't be so general.
Arturo, I'm starting to like you, you give my the open mind I am looking for.
I just hope they add some kind of actual governing system.
As the game kind of has you as an architect/engineer building the city then letting it run on it's own.
The same, "governing system" is very generalized.
Imagine that Lobby is reading you, and says aha governing system, how to hell a governing system should work in TheoTown where you are the one who builds.
That's where the suggestion has to be more detailed.
A system of random elections, where every 10 years in game, the management building gives influence on random types to all the city map just for that period of time, and that it increases the specific demand of a residential, commercial or industrial only in those periods of time, or that a specific building has to be built in that period of time or there will be protesters in the roads, that is detailed...
It's not about throwing things at random and expecting the devs to read your mind, or imagine things.
Is exactly what I want.
Well, that can be done with plugins, Lua to be exact, but that's it, being detailed it is the better way to understand what you want, the suggestions must be complete, that's why most of them are ignored...
Can you tell me who makes the plugins to make that happen?
I don't understand the question. What plugins exist that make use of Lua to give more functions to the game? Complex Industry, Age of Sail, to say the most relevant.
Thanks.
I'll look at them
Arture
excuse me
Arturo
are those plugin names?
or what?
I put in the names and nothing relevant came up
Complex Industry - #builder-content message - (Active project and in continuous development)
Age of Sail - The project is not active, it may have bugs.
I for some very odd reason can't find the plugin by putting the name Complex Industry nor Complex Industries
