Well it is not possible to make bigger regions at once, but you can make a folder with the region Name you would like to have and than make separate cities and put them inside. You will then have to give them coordinates so that they are in the right place.

Make a black and white image (you may take it from a real life heightmap or just make your own)
Remember that white is hills and (pitch) black is water!
Use the in-game file manager in the create map/region menu and locate your heightmap file

Gray is land
And black is water
Just draw your map in an editing app or program

I have another map here from my fictional world named Hesterem. This is from the Kessela Peninsula in the country of United Queensly. United Queensly is United States so this map is more like an American map. The capital city is also located here lol
