Its rather easy, you make a bunch of shapes with varying colors of gray on your prefered drawing program, black is the lowest height while white the highest, then there is a bunch of other gray shades, the lighter the higher the height, when you finished export the png, desaturize it and voilà, you got a grayscale map

It is a modified version of seed:0 size:12, but you can copy the default folder, change the name of the folder and with that you already have another version of Theonia that you can reset to start again.

TheoTown files are located under such directories:

• Windows: C:\Users\(insert username)\TheoTown or %USERPROFILE%\TheoTown

• Android: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files
  By default you should be in /storage/emulated/0/. Uninstalling the game on Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by uninstaller.

If you cannot access game files through these directories, game has an in-built file manager for mobile devices which is accessible from the region view menu.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.

In your TheoTown folder, look for Regions, all your regions will appear there, you make a copy of the default folder, change the name of the folder and paste it there.

With that you can edit the name of the copy region, restart it, or do whatever you like.

If what you want is to make a region with that seed in the console:

Remember that it will not be exactly the same, but you can terraform it to your liking anyway

To assign more maps, or more variables that you can modify in the creation of the region, I recommend you see them in the forum.

How do you make that work for custom regions created via the console?

the cr command wont accept a heightmap in the theotown folder as a heightmap, instead it uses the text as the seed.

looks like that when it should look like this:

that city one was created via clicking the folder icon and selecting the heightmap, so guessing the heightmap needs to be somewhere other than the Theotown install folder to work for the cr command (contrary to everything I've read, including the post above that i replied to)

How exactly did you do this? Any time I've tried to use a height map with the cr command to create a region the height map doesn't get used.

TheoTown files are located under such directories:

• Windows: C:\Users\(insert username)\TheoTown or %USERPROFILE%\TheoTown
• Linux: ~/TheoTown
• MacOS: /user/TheoTown
• Android: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/info.flowersoft.theotown.theotown/files
  By default you should be in /storage/emulated/0/. Uninstalling the game on Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by uninstaller.

If you cannot access game files through these directories, game has an in-built file manager for mobile devices which is accessible from the region view menu.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.
