Reinstalling the game for Android will delete all files, unless you decide to keep the files when prompted by uninstaller.

Alternatively, you can access the files through in-built TheoTown file manager, accessible through the in-game menu.

You can find your plugin, music, region and city files there as well as logs for debugging purposes.

Hi there, a couple of questions. I have a world on the android version of the game. Can I play on that same map on my pc if I sign in to my account? Also, the pc requirements for the game seem kinda high, like the cpu and the ram needed. Should a Dell Inspiron (intel, core i7, 16gb ram, nvidia mx350) be enough to run it without my fan blasting from the cpu usage? Thanks!

It’s shocking for me to see TheoTown documents size inflate over 1 gb. Is there anyway to reduce the file size. I tried looking on the reachable file and non of them is over 10 mb. I couldn’t find any solution of the problem, or any mention as a matter of fact, in the internet. If it’s not possible I might have to delete TheoTown entirely because storage on my iPad is very limited.

Well like I said, there is a file that most anti-viruses hit on (mine included did when I downloaded the game) I can only imagine that it's a false positive and you can just click ignore

Steam is the only option on PC, but you could always get the mobile version. But I assure you if it's the file I think it is, the game is perfectly safe

In case you have trouble running the game please try to install Java manually
(e.g. from https://www.java.com/download/). After the installation you may have
to restart your PC for the installation to complete.

If you have tried that but still are receiving error messages you may want to
search for updates for you graphics card and install them.
For Intel GPUs it seems to be a solution to use a specific version of Java:

In case you have trouble with too small UI because of high DPI display you may
want to enable DPI compatibility mode by windows for TheoTown.exe
(Right click on it->Properties->Compatibility->High DPI settings

ok i am tired of my plugin problem, its been months since i have had this problem and i dont know how to fix this, whenever i open the plugin store, the plugin store doesnt loads and its just says network error, well then i tried to go to the theotown forum but, the forum isnt loading my browser says that the network is not secure and it seems like i cant download any plugins at all, if anyone could help with my problem it would be appreciated 🙏

Okay. An update to my earlier post about ads button greyed out though it's online.

I find the culprit, it's my Private DNS settings. I use dns.adguard.com as the provider hostname. So i turn it off, and now the ads button works. (dns.google is also works if anyone use it)

This is a rare case, but i guess it's bound that someone somewhere also stumbled upon the same problem as mine. So, i post this here so it can help someone else with the same problem.

Hey I have a question. Right now the graph for commercial/residental/industrial needs seems very bugy for larger cities. Is it planned to fix this behaviour? In my game it starts to constantly fluctuate heavily even though there are no abandoned buildings at all.

Looks like you have some duplicates for some reason. Check your plugins folder to check if you have forums plugins that are also in the plugin store

Is there a way to prevent or at least, slow down my residents moving out?
I have around 98 to 99% happiness and trying my best to give them better buildings (Residential, Commercial and Industrial), service, parks and everything they need. But even after all of that, they still would leave.
