This picture show more cleary what I mean, Obviously, trees cant stop heavy contamination quickly, but, In my opinion, is enough in case the industrial zone is close to the residential, even you can make it look aesthetic in your city
For example, you can see how they can stop the industrial contamination in just 3 blocks, BUT, they cant stop trash contamination, for that, I need put more trees
Again, you can make it look aestetic in your city

It's tricky, but if you really want to figure it out, then you need the JSON Genie. And also an application for creating pixel textures (I recommend Pixly). But, if you want, you can create pixel textures through the PC.
