If your just trying to save your cities and/or regions then just take the files out of the folders there present in, move them to anywhere else on your device, uninstall the game, reinstall and move the files you previously removed back into the files you took them from, now Im not familiar with ios and such so I lack the knowledge when it comes to how the files and such work on there but I'd assume you'd still be able to do the same thing.
