If youre going to cook rice in a pot, youre going to have to stir the rice to make sire they absorb equal amounts of water and that the rice at the bottom of the pot doesnt stick. And in a rice cooker, the rice gets steamed so it cooks evebky eithout your effort. So ric cooker is the lazy way of cookiing unless you wnat to stay at the stove makong sure the rice doesnt stick to the bottom.
