@digital lantern mate I don't think you understand what goes into making multiplayer work in the first place. Especially considering that it's a relatively recent feature considering the age of the game.
So do me a favor before you respond. Drop the attitude before I drop you from this server.
Earliest version to my understanding is from 2007
But you have to understand that adding multiplayer occured in 2020 maybe 2019... Rewriting the code to make multiplayer a possibility took a year or so, and I think that of added that was possible they would have when they added multiplayer
And once again keep in mind that as a team of two devs y'all ask for alot that practically has little use or that would be used by very few
