it’s just my opinion, and i don’t even think it’s that bad, and actually some cities do paint their façades diversely like so, it’s just generally you should have a well defined real-life inspiration especially for traditional-style builds (and i’m not sure if you did have one for this build or not)

I don't think the Japanese quarter you built fits in with all those skyscrapers. It's not for me to judge, but it would be better to replace it with similar skyscrapers that are around. I can give you a couple of mods if needed.

​While the city’s skyline continued to pierce the clouds, investment in Middle Isle halted. The bridges connecting the tenements to the luxury districts became bottlenecks. For twenty years, the "Middle Islers" provided the labor that built the skyscrapers they weren’t allowed to enter. Poverty deepened, and the city council—run by the elite from the high-rises—largely ignored the crumbling infrastructure of the residential core.
​Years 36–48: The Quiet Before the Storm
​A generation was born in the tenements who never knew the "Golden Age." Among them was Leo Vance, an 18-year-old high school graduate who spent his afternoons repairing leaky pipes in his neighbors' apartments because the city plumbers wouldn't come to Middle Isle. Leo began organizing community clean-ups and "illegal" garden patches in the alleyways, gaining a massive following on local social media.

​Following a massive power grid failure that left Middle Isle in the dark for a week while the skyscrapers stayed lit, the city erupted in protest. The "establishment" laughed him off as a "kid from the bricks," but they underestimated the power of the Isle.

​The Result: Thousands of trees were planted in a triple-layered formation. Within three years, this "Green Barrier" absorbed nearly 40% of the industrial decibels, acting as a natural muffler. It also filtered the soot, making the air in the tenements noticeably crisper.

​While the air was getting quieter, the streets were getting louder. The main artery of Buxar—the road connecting the Spire District to the Industrial Zone—was still the original two-lane road from the foundation years.

Under Buxar’s strict property laws—ironically a remnant of the Hofstra era designed to protect elite estates—the government cannot seize land for "public good" until the current lease expires or the owner sells voluntarily.

​The "Ghost Blocks": As owners slowly sell, Leo has ordered the immediate demolition of individual buildings, leaving strange, empty gaps between the shops that still refuse to move.
​The Temporary Fix: To manage the chaos, Leo has implemented a strict "One-Way Hour" system—inbound in the morning, outbound in the evening—but it’s a bandage on a gunshot wound.
​The Looming Crisis
​The Elites in the Spire are losing money because their luxury goods are stuck in traffic. Rumors are swirling that the Iron Board is tired of waiting for "Land Requisition" and might take matters into their own hands to "clear" the road faster.

Honestly, dont worry about it. The nice cities are usually month/weeks of meticulous planning and manual building. if you use zones, things tend to look like this, and theres nothing wrong with that. Though the green buildings on the left are abandoned so you might want to replace them.
