Seeds are incredibly hit and miss and change based on what map size you pick

If you really want to look around through #seeds-n-maps is a good place to start

But personally I recommend either using a heightmap or just randomizing the seed till you find one you like

The number next to the building name denotes the influence provided by the building. The buildings under the landmarks and awards are all vanilla. Landmarks costs diamonds to place (on mobile). but we're getting off topic. i may show you my region later today (when i am back home from work). with my city reaching 10-15 thousand people it's now visible on the map but that'll make it pretty clear how large my map is

anyways, I have shown this random sea rock religion

my city's religion is Astrolicism. They believe you can contact the dead with radio waves and such, I made a religious building by using a radio mast and put it on top of another building. still wanna make some kind of ridiculous cathedral that's a huge supported radio mast on top of some mall or something.

funny how i spend a ton of time downloading plugins of cathedrals and then the first project i make my own religious building

also I cant really make any kind of organized zone system at all

well all whole grids are 4x6 or 6x6

yeah that's so small, if a couple cars all take right turns they block each other and traffic is dead, i get these issues even with larger grids

also should I just not bother trying to organize zones?

besides trying to have each block be either residential or commercial and nor both

well on arlina I had the commercial and residential in strips

tried there then just gave up

i want to put skyscrapers on my lake, so i put TT and TTT commercials in it's own place at the lake, but smaller shops like T and stuff i put closer to my residentail places

but the city i am working on uses commie blocks and architecture like that, so zoning is different as i manually build

I just been putting buildings where I can fit them

and half the time nobody uses them

I'm trying to do a little manual here and there

just for the demands tho

so its not organized at all

i had that problem with some buildings getting abandoned and then never getting people back, but if you erase the building and build it back it gets filled lol, seems buggy

like when a building ever goes to 0 inhabitants, it seems like it gets blocked from refilling even if you fix the conditions

i'm as new as you, i have no idea, i just go with my gut and then regret what i did and try to do better next day lol

maybe learn something from how the other builds

since we seem to be better at one thing or another

nah, online seems like a lot of trouble to get running, especially if people have hundreds of different plugins and play on different systems

sharing pictures and experiences to learn works probably better
