There is a mod which allows you to add an option into the ingame menu that lets you level your entire city, it works great. Everything is removed apart from trees and fences.

Frame drops. Absolutely powerpoint slideshow. I can't even zoom out on some of my cities without the game crashing immediately, though I have been checking around and it seems to only be happening with some of my cities. Mostly the really old ones.
Maybe it's some messed up plugin that broke. But all my cities have like 200 plugins used on them so I'm kind of screwed if that's the problem.

Well that's the thing, these cities haven't ever been laggy before. Even with full zoom out they've been experiencing barely any frame drops because despite its age, my phone is quite good with running TheoTown actually. But suddenly the game gets totally overwhelmed with the same old cities I've been messing around with for so long. That's what puzzles me about it.
