Make right holding a structure give right charge which only works on right modifiers and left holding a structure give left charge which only works on left modifiers. Gives an incentive to be ambidextrous AND gives charge a buff. For visuals, make it so each charge makes the respective hand glow (which makes it more clear than even the current visual). Also goes along with #1490487844173512755 #splithandedcharge

YES and then we splithand Stubborn so only the side of your body you dashed with gets the damage and knockback resistance

Theoretically I’d imagine you could just split the one hurtbox into two… but I’m no game developer so I have no clue

Depends entirely on how the hurtbox system is currently structured.

just clone the hitbox, scale down, offset, and you're good

#

but this is unity so 🤷🇸🇭

In this scenario, the thing that would take a year is moving the entire game into Godot :)

i'm still wondering how in the kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut with mcdonalds french fries and a side of coca cola with a three way getaway meal with chicken nuggets and a fresh out of the oven baked breaded bread with butter spread on top i typed it

would someone explain to me where the buff to Charge lies here? Holding something in my right hand but not getting to use my left hand to expend the charge appears like a restriction to me.

it adds difficulty but also depth and in that depth reward

this sounds very nice

#

you could keep two charges instead of only one

#

and keep one charge on your left hand for a while as you do normal chambering on your right

#

or the other way around

when I hold something in my right hand and want to modify a different structure, I usually hold my right hand still and have my left hand active. That makes it much easier for me to target the correct structure and doesn't risk slamming my held one into anything. The only different case for me is when I want to accelerate the target structure with the one I'm holding by extending my hand, which isn't often the case.

I'm a Charge autodidact, so don't ask me whether that's normal. To me at least that'd not be a change for the better. It's already difficult enough to retain a charge against a skilled player, so the option to have two and delay the expending of one is a rather niche benefit applicable only to a long-range playstyle in my eyes.
