His way of playing is a 4-3-3 with a dm. Usually the starting formation is not particularly relevant to analyze a manager way of playing, but in this case, it is how he lines up in the possesion phase, turning the two cms info cams(or, in more openly played matches, a 3-4-3). The only problem with this is the high exposure to counterattacks, which then,usually, opposition can find a 6v5 and overload the defenders, unless cms/cams recover in time.
In non possesion defensive phase ive seen, if they cant play 4-3-3, an interesting 5-3-2.
