Vinicius
Mbappe, obviously
Gareth Bale. flashy moments, inconsistent impact.

Question 213
Michael Olise has 29 goal contributions in 27 games this season (12 goals and 17 assists across all competitions). He has been a key player for Bayern since signing for them. Where do you rank him among the best players in the world?

I’d probably go top 15-10 myself lotta talent out there right now but I love the man
Without a shadow of a fucking doubt, foden.
And before City fans come telling me "b-but 23-24 foden was really g-good" he had 1 MADE DRIBBLING per game
And im only counting the Premier League
And before yall start coming at me with the solit "b-b-but the Premier League is the best league in the world" ight, where was he in the euros?
Out of 64 touches PER GAME he crated One big chance in all tournament
He deserves to be compared with saka, even if i think hes a bit superior to him
This season above him are (if u watch football with ur eyes AND with stats, and if we are considering team effort all season) just Kane and Haaland. Best winger itw currently
Top 25

Question 214
Tomorrow is the Manchester Derby. Both clubs have had the privilege of being coached by two of the greatest managers of all time: Pep Guardiola and Sir Alex Ferguson. In your personal all-time rankings, whom do you rank higher, Pep or Sir Alex?
<@&1392052021108146207>
pep
Alex
Pinoy?
All time : Pep
Premier League : SAF
Pep all the way
Sir Alex
Pep (not bias)
Pep
In terms of stats : Sir alex
In terms of tactics : Pep
Pep Guardiola, the Catalan coach of Man City.
SAF is the greatest PL manager of all-time. Pep is better just generally all-time.
alex ofc, manu wasnt lower from 3rd place while he was managing them
Sir alex for now
But i think the only one capable of surpassing him is pep and he isn't so far off.
And if we talking prem wise only, SAF is intouchable.
But i am talking all time
also if we talking about only in PL then Sir alex. easy af
pep for sure
pep
sir alex
Sir Alex
Legendary season
Prem: Sir Alex
General: Pep
Pep personally
But i understand the reasoning of everyone who prefers sir Alex as well
-
Pep has a better trophy rate (more trophies in short time) compared to Sir Alex.
-
He has more European cups as manager.
-
He has beaten Sir Alex in 2 European Cup finals.
-
He changed the landscape of football in both Spain and England.
As much as i dont like city, i say pep
Sir Alex
Sir Alex Ferguson.
Alex
Sir alex
Sir Alex
pep for me
Sir Alex
Sir Alex eazy
For me, it’s SAF, united were losing relevance at the time sir alex starts a great project to bring back united back onto its porch.
Pep is a genius when it comes to football
but i feel like players were handed to him
when it comes to transfers
Hard question
Maybe just sir alex
Pep
Sir alex
Sir Alex
Pep, definitely
I say Pep just slightly over Sir Alex.
pep, alex had a great season but cmon, u cant with pep's tactics
PL: SAF
sir alex
Pep
sir alex
SAF
SAF
Pep is up there though
rn sir alex but if pep continues for more years he can easily surpass
Pep
SAF won PL titles bc PL was basically a farmer's league but Pep made PL a farmer's league
Pl was a farmer's league then
It still is
😔
Those Manchester arseholes
Alex
ALL THE TIME
he was just better
Although pep is great
@quasi flare its time for the Daily question my man
Question 215
Tomorrow is the AFCON 2025 final. If you followed the tournament, how much did you enjoy it, and what were your favourite moments?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Congo man
It was amazing, especially the two EL KAABI bicycle kicks
El Kaabi scoring two bicycle kicks
Couldnt agree more
wasn't the best one
i prefered the previous one
Ye
i 100% enjoy it and my favourite moments is nigria getting knocked out of the afcon semi final meaning they are now in afcon 3rd place playoffs
no big surprise and every favourite went far in the tournament
still better than euros 2024 tho
Barely watched it
The best afcon ever no surprises only the best teams went far and my favorite moment is bono saves in penalties vs nigeria
refere blocking the view of mane shot in semis
Skip
Did not follow it properly, but boring final can’t lie
Bono save in penalty shootout vs nigeria
Or el kaabi bicycle kicks
El kaabi bicycle kicks
barely watched it, but i saw el kaabi's bicycle
10/10 tournament
cant lie, has to be the best one evn tho i wathed like 4 matces
i watch it like always cuz im a morocco fan (even before wc 2022) im glad they were incredible
best one? yea i agree
frrrr
All I got to say good luck both teams
Didn't watch any of it, If I'm being honest, my favourite moments was Amad and Mbeumo going back to Man Utd
Lol
Question 216
Michael Carrick’s tactical setup totally outclassed Manchester City and Pep yesterday. It’s very rare for a manager to outclass and dominate teams coached by Pep to such a degree. What do you make of United’s performance and Carrick’s coaching yesterday? Do you think Carrick has the potential to become a great coach, or was this just a one-off?
<@&1392052021108146207>
I think it was luck but you never know
too early to decide
haven't seen him play enough games to judge.
Pretty good setup certainly
Was impressive
Rest time will tell as it always does
New manager. Derby day. I wouldn't overreact to a single game at any point, let alone with those 2 factors.
Would be really silly to make conclusions after 1 game
Based on his time at Boro, he's nothing special
Wdym "ofc you say that" u dont even know who i am🙏 🙏 🙏
Was pretty good but too early to tell
too early to judge yet
Win against Arsenal, everything and everyone is positive until the Players lower there standards and keeps fighting for draws and not 3 points
City was facing difficulty in good ball progressing by their cbs. They were tactically outclassed yesterday
He has the potential but can't really say much after just 1 game
Tbh, i think he will be good against good teams and bad against the relegation battlers based on his 442
Anyone can beat Pep's team
Too early to tell tbh will need to see more games from him first
I think guardiola is trash now days and I also think Carrick has potential
same happened with nisterooy
when he was interim
so we cant say
Barcelona needs to sell theirs defenders
Honestly lovely performance from United, and Carrick does have the potential to be a good manager coach. For United? Time will tell
yet rma lost to them lol
Barca’s defenders or Madrids loss to them isnt relevant to this daily question @rapid laurel @heady ermine
Use a general channel for such unrelated discussions
Question 217
Senegal have become the champions of Africa for the second time in their history following a tense and highly controversial final. What do you make of the events of the final, and do you feel this AFCON win can help set Senegal up for a strong run at the 2026 World Cup as well?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Maybe
Possibly
they got a strong squad so yh maybe
Morocco
Needs
To held hakimi
Ngl
So hakimi didnt deserve a toty cuz he cant score a pen
Senegal is making out of his group
This AFCON highlighted the corruption involved, especially how much involvement referees were in the whole tournament to allow Morocco to get that far.
As for Senegal, they are in my opinion one of the best teams in the whole Afcon, as good as Nigeria, Algeria, Ivory Coast, and Egypt.
Their win was well deserved and I am sure their upcoming younger talent will benefit from this experience and use it as motivation for future tournaments.
We will never host something related to this shit continent
I'm ashamed of Morocco being in this cursed continent
Where everyone is against you
Arsene wenger came with this "you can't succeed when the whole continent is against you
They can maybe pull an upset or two
I think it was disgraceful that Senegal left the pitch because they disagreed with a decision and its right that their manager has been suspended for that. As for the decision itself, I think it is consistent with a previous decision made that ruled out a goal and that the player was very silly to put his arms around that players neck in a final this late in a game so I think it had to be made.
Justice prevailed.
They can maybe get through the group. We will have a tough time against them.
Spain are winning the world cup anyways
Yes
@fringe fable use #1384509232577253468 to share suggestions please
uzbekistan going all the way but senegal will go far in wc
Noted. Thanks
peak haramball
Maybe if they walk off after they concede a goal
Probably
It was disgusting and honestly they need to be ashamed of themselves. Acting the way they did? Even without the ‘corruption’, it was bad. Senegal can make it deep with this group of players I think, probably to the quarters if they get a good run.
maybe. impressive to see such an early impact.
I think Senegal leaving the pitch was awful.
That game was awful
Prob not
Senegal have such a good team, round of 16 last world cup unlucky to face one of the favorites, i think they make the quarters.
Morocco should have win it
Question 218
Sadio Mané has now won two AFCON titles in his career, and on both occasions he was adjudged Player of the Tournament. He also had an outstanding career in Europe, winning both the Champions League and the Premier League while being a hugely important and exceptional player for Liverpool. Where do you feel he ranks among the greatest African footballers of all time?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Top 20
top 10-15
Better than Salah anyway
Top 10 at least
Top 15-10
Top 5 maybe
Real Madrid
I'd say top 10
How many afcons does Salah have 😭
Exactly this is the criteria for top 10
Who gives a f
We're comparing players
Neymar has 0 trophies for Brazil. Do you think someone like Cafu ranks above him?
Manes more successful
Are we gonna ignore this
Lol
Mane's a greedy sob
Crying about Salah not passing
Top 15
Top 10 definitely
Maybe top 5
top 5
top 10 aot
not top 5 because others have had better careers in europe but top 10 because very less have had such a good career in europe and for their nt
Top ten
Top 10
Defo the top 10
Top 5
Definitely top 10 and in an all-time Africa XI. Maybe top 5.
Among the greats. He doesn't have the PR of Drogba, Eto'o or even Mahres and Salah. But he is there. Underrated even.
maybe 6th or 7th (no fuck 67 jokes)
1st.
No doubt.
This is my final words on this.
I am totally sure.
Sadio Mane is the greatest African player of all time.
So by ur logic Harry Kane, all time, ranks below coman 🙏
top 10
Above him, if were talking about overall legacy, are just Weah, eto'o and Drogba.
salty abt the loss? me too...
plus how is ligue 1 talking to me
Is it a problem for you?
I'm just gonna ignore you.
no lmao its cool
😭

Question 219
Rodri’s form has clearly declined, and in the 3–1 defeat against Bodo/Glimt he was sent off after receiving two yellow cards in one minute. Do you believe he can still return to the Ballon d’Or-level player he once was, or has that peak already passed?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Passed
Nah
Maybe. Even if he doesn't, he will always be remembered for causing the funniest meltdown in football history.
He will come through
Absolutely no way, he is far past his peak. Not to mention, KDB is gone so that Man City midfield is basically on the downfall
he is past his peak.... i doubt he will make it to the world cup even
Btw I thought u mean Ronaldo
I think it will take time for him to heal properly
No goodbye bro, the man's legs are washed
He can return, give him time
He will still be a good player on the whole, but definitely not ballon d'or level.
Who would take his spot then?
he will have to change his role
not returning to his peak but everythings exagerrated
Nico gonzalez for man city, zubimendi for spain
zubimendi most probably
I think he'll still make it to the WC, but unless he pulls a Messi performance, 0 chance of getting back to 2024 form
He is never going back to his 2020-2024 level
But his current level isnt that bad as it seemed against bodo l
I believe he has passed that point
Lmao
dunno but he was never at xavi or iniesta level, enough. Javi Martines, Fabregas, Silva, are some of the few midfielders i can think of that had higher peaks
hes past his peak tho he could still improve and idk be a useful player but not ballondor lvl
duh?
ur comparing rodri to iniesta and xavi wtf
Way past his peak
If not that ACL injury, he would but there actually no way possible to comeback to peak levels from his career.
Past his peak if we're being honest
Already passed
Nope.
Washed.
Robber.
I mean he's going to win wc soon
But dembele js won balon dor last season and started losing
Man city would definitely win ligue 1 if they played there
This season.
Wallahi finished
He should be benched at least for this season, hopefully he bounces back next season.
Passed
not really sure maybe he can get back if pep makes more signings or uses tactics
but def not his prime
He will never be the same again as a city fan, from being out for so long like not playing football for almost a year and still not getting consistent minutes rn, I don't think he will be the same again but he can possibly get a little close, he is only 29
he's finished
Question 220
With so many teams sitting on 13 points, and others just behind on 14, 12, or 11, the race to finish in the Champions League top eight is insanely tight. Who do you think will edge it and grab one of the final automatic qualification spots for the round of 16, and why?
<@&1392052021108146207>
FC Barcelona for sure will be 8th or 7th after Gameweek 8
newcastle gut feeling
unfortunately i think chelsea will just about make it
Juventus
The pic says it
It will indeed be peak cinema 👌
Especially as all 18 games will be played at the same time
nope
visca bbarca
I will always believe
Uhh idk I can't predict the future
I think man city will edge through
Barca, arsenal
Psg
Bayern
Ykyk
Sporting 🇵🇹
😭
The team that wins
Since last season they all failed mostly in ro16, I don't think one of them will win (of top 8)
Watch out Arsenal, please make me wrong
They are eliminated officially now
Barca and inter
I am aware lmfao
Yeah I'm sorry for Frankfurt fans like you
Naw it's a good thing so the club can focus on the league now
Yeah indeed
hope they get ucl
man city potentially depending if pep actually starts the people whos experienced
Juventus
Sporting
Wow only 3 points difference from 5th to 16th

Question 222
In the late 90s and early 2000s, Man United vs Arsenal was a very fierce matchup, especially thanks to the rivalry between Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger, as well as the animosity between Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira. What are some of your favourite moments from the clashes between these two gigantic clubs back then?
<@&1392052021108146207>
wrong gif
Pizzagate incident pretty funny as well
Idk I didn't watch it bro I'm not old enough to have lived through the 90's
i would that one gate i guess pizza
Or early 2000's
Cr7
For me if we count it as early it’s that 2005 match against Arsenal. Ronaldo brace and assist to come back from 2-1 to 4-2
I’m pretty sure he kept shushing the crowd after all his goals
Yes this one
Nicolas Anelka goal in 1998
The time we ended the invincible run
Henry goal fr
.
idk didnt exist that time
Pizzagate is so random but so funny to the lore of the two teams lmao.
pizzagate
When nistelrooy missed a pen and the entire arsenal team ganged up on him
That one Henry goal
When i existed
Lmao this looks so funny and sad for him
The tunnel incident and the pizza incident were crazy. Imagine watching that unfold in front of your eyes.
Question 223
If players could avoid injuries throughout their careers, which footballer do you think would benefit the most in terms of legacy and achievements?
<@&1392052021108146207>
One obvious answer is Neymar
Easily Van Basten
Me
Neymar and van Basten and me
Ansu Fati/R9/Dembele/Me.
Van Basten
Van Basten or R9, and Bojan
tonali
Jack Wilshere
Me and gotze
Yoann gourcuff
I mean, R9 is definitely a choice but even after injuries he had a career filled with silverware. Had Neymar not been injury prone post Barca, he might just be considered the greatest brazilian player of all time
Neymar
yk ball
And Gabriel Jesus
R9 & Neymar
Obviously Neymar
Van Basten
But also
And you @quasi flare , who could have benefited from his career if he wasn't injured ?
Jack wilshere
Abou diaby
Pogba
Theo Walcott
Robin Van persie
the image is my answer
His was more of mental issues than injuries
Just not confident or mentally strong enough
Cr7, neymar and ronaldo brazil..
Marco Van Baasten
Huh cr7?
Neymar, van basten
R9
Agree
Injury 2014
Bojan Krkic, Adnan Januzaj, Neymar, Fati, Van Basten, Walcott, Wilshere and probs many more names
Van Basten
R9
Ross Stewart
uhhhh dembele
he is successful but he can be more
fenomeno and basten
Van basten
Van basten r9 hazard
Neymar, Van Basten
And I'm surprised only 1 guy has said this so far
Hazard
Van Basten
rashford
^
R9, MVB and Ney tho I'll say R9
Jack Wilshere too
Robben and Kompany were let down by injuries too, especially Robben
Easy Van basten and maybe Hazard
Also me
Marco Van Basten
Cristian o Ronaldo
Neymar+ dembele
R9 already had an incredible legacy, but more would see him as one of the best of all time.
Ale Pato was probably the best youngster I've ever seen. He had everything. Injuries derailed his career hard.
Ronaldo (R9) and Van Basten are my top 2
Marco Reus
Question 224
United are in the top four right now despite all the troubles they’ve had over the last year. Do you think they can qualify for the UCL this season, or is this just a hot run of form that will eventually fade?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Form will fade
They defo can keep it
I think like top 6 max
In usual circumstances i would say form will fade
But any of the clubs around them dont feel particularly better
So i think they can get top 4 sure
I see it happening
i say they honk it up
they bottle top 4
Man united will finish top 4 I think as a city fan
Carrick ball ☠️
Will definitely finish top 4
3rd place.
Top 4 until end
Yo hi
Yo how did you gain lvl so fast?
Talk
That what i do 24-7 here and dont get lvls
Talk bro
Alr chill out
Bro am calm
Wdym chill
I speak very calm and very soft
Alr alr
form will dissapear
top 7 maybe
Depends on what we do against teams where we’re the ones expected to dominate. If we win like at least two of our three upcoming games then I say we’re in comfortably in the UCL
they will
Keep the form till the end of the season but then it fades
Just have to see how we do against lower block sides we usually do well against these better teams
Yess!! barca has something unfinished job with them!
a big yes
it will fade
but in some time
not yet
Im actually really surprised they even made it here
I predicted them to get relegated
It will fade later on but I think for the next 1-2 seasons they'll keep this up
I think man u will reach cl football if they stay like this they have the potential to reach champions ligue
no
Title charge starts now🥹
I think they will finish top 10 but top 4 not
Depends how they do against west ham, we will see if they can win in games against low table teams, if they win then yes, they could qualify
yes we can
chat more
🥱 don't care next question
Soon
Question 225
If you had to build a defensive unit of modern players, 4 defenders (excluding the goalkeeper), that could survive 90 minutes against Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar at their peak, who would you pick and why?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Dorgu, Licha, Maguire, Dalot
survived 90 minutes against the team that can beat 2008 Man United
ramos, vvd, hakimi, dani alves
Lahm Ramos VVD Walker
Is it current form or primes?
Just for clarification, please.
you mean for the defenders?
just modern defenders ig irrespective of their form
yh
LB: Nuno Mendes
CB: Gabriel
CB: Maguire
RB: Wan Bissaka
Dani Alves, Van Djik, Terry, Ashley Cole
Just some names who have experience playing against Messi/Ronaldo and have sometimes succeeded on stopping them.
In which case (assuming modern means no modern retired players):
LB: Nuno Mendes (2024/25)
LCB: Virgil van Dijk (2018-2020, pre-ACL)
RCB: William Saliba (2024-present)
RB: Joshua Kimmich (2019-2022)
If modern includes modern retired players, I'm going to mirror Sir Rashy's submission but with a slight modification for VVD:
LB: Dani Alves (prime)
LCB: Virgil van Dijk (2018-2020, pre-ACL)
RCB: John Terry (prime)
RB: Ashley Cole (prime)
LB nuno mendes
CB Sergio Ramous
CB VVD
RB Kyle walker
If they count as modern
LB - Nuno Mendes (COOKER OF BEST WINGER IN 2025)
CB - Sergio Ramos (NIGHTMARE OF MESSI)
CB - Pepe (NIGHTMARE OF ALL FOOTBALL)
RB - Carvajal (COOKER OF NEYMAR)
I think Jaap Stam, Ashley Cole, Gatusso and Alves
nuno mendes, ramos, hummels, kimmich
hummels folding all of em (totally unbiased)
Maldini, the intelligence and the leadership will do
Vidic, 2 premier league player of the year winner and doesn't care about his life when it comes to defending the ball
Sergio Ramos, is in the defence goat talks for a reason
Ashley Cole, pressuring Ronaldo will do, CR7 Admitted that Ashley Cole was his hardest opponent.
So maldini, vidic, Sergio Ramos and Ashley Cole
Maldini & jaap staam not really modern
What do we count as modern
Like
2000s to now ?
Or 2010s to now
Last 10-15 years
Sergio Ramos
Maldini
Chielini
Pepe
Based on defending
LB - Nuno Mendes
CB - Chiellini or Thiago Silva
CB - Van Dijk
RB - Lahm
Or maybe pique over chiellini
Smart defender
Sergio Ramos
Ashley Cole
John Terry
Gabriel Magalhaes
Mumba Palsson Songo'o and joe edwards could stop that attack.
infact screw mumba nathaniel ogbeta could
Gk prime lammens, lb UCL nuno Mendes, cb 2019 vvd, cb COVID Maguire, rb prime awb
Dorgu vvd de ligt grimaldo
No one tbh but there's a smol chance of Marcelo-Pique-Ramos-Lahm
Julian dicks, Bobby Moore, Robert Snodgrass, Billy Bonds
Nuno Mendes, Rüdiger, van Dijk, Kyle Walker
Dorgu vvd de ligt awb
Real
I think they will be in the top 5 and qualify for the CL
No way youre calling yamal the best winger
Nope
How many goal salah score ?
Yep.
They'll probably remain in the top 7 to 3
Dean Huijsen
Raul Asencio
Carreras
Valverde
give me juventus 15/16
Question 226
Which club in Champions League history do you think was a “forgotten giant,” often performing at a high level and perhaps even reaching finals, but never winning the trophy? What do you think prevented them from achieving greater glory?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Dukla Praha
Dynamo Kyiv
Twice I think
Nvm then
100% Rapid Bucharest
forgotten giants
Atletico Madrid
Id say arsenal and they just coudnlt win it
FC Basel
Atletico
Valencia back to back finals in 2000 and 2001. Lost to Madrid and then Bayern on penalties.
i'd say as monaco
Deportivo de La Coruña
Boavista
IDK
APOEL 2012, one season wonder. Won against Lyon in R16, made it to the quarterfinals where they lost to Real Madrid.
Honorable mention: Shakhtar Donetsk
Atleti
Parma
Stade de Reims. 2 UCL finals lost against the one and only Real Madrid, now they are in Ligue 2.
If you want to talk about forgotten giant in UCL, Stade de Reims comes to mind. Came close to winning it twice in the 1950's but Real Madrid denied them both times.
Ajax
Good shout, I was thinking of them as well
has Porto won it
Dynamo
anderlecht were always a good european team in the 1970s and 1980s
more so in the uefa cup but they still reached a number of quarter finals and semi finals in the european cup
Yes, twice actually (1987 and 2004)
not once, but twice. (2 of 4 UCL trophies for 🇵🇹 )
Arsenal
i forgot
Question 227
Where does Trubin’s last-gasp goal for Benfica rank among the greatest moments in Champions League history?
<@&1392052021108146207>
The funny
T20
Top 30 ?
Top 20 I guess
best moment of the new champion league format
Don't know about greatest, but definitely top 3 funniest moment
Top 10 extra time headers
The worst
As a Ukrainian, Top 15 no worse
idk like top 50 maybe
Probably the right answer

I'm proud of this team
I feel Benfican today

Any matches where Barça lost.
I HATE BARÇA!
obiously trubin
Just one word
Trubin
Trubin goal and wirtz vs qarabag
Either Bodø/Glimt v Man City, or Benfica v Qarabağ, epic wins from dark horse teams
Especially when Qarabağ came back from 2-0 down to defeat Benfica
And talking about Benfica, they went from losing their first 4 matches to qualifying for the knockouts thanks to Mourinho and Trubin
Also, UCL matchday 3 had a lot of high-scoring matches
This has to be one of the best European campaigns in a while
Trubin's goal
Its not about being good
It’s about the moment & circumstances
Even I can tell that Pafos vs Villareal is a good match
Right?
1-0 upset is already good
Question 229
Which player will end the season with a completely different reputation than they have now, whether in a positive or negative way?
<@&1392052021108146207>

Salah - negative
Vini sucks ahh now but mbappe ppl already think positive
Hot take: lookman
Hear me out, one thing is performing with Atalanta, objectively talking, even tho they won the uel 2 years ago, a mid-high table club, so worldwide fans havent rlly got the chance to see lookman play, whilst in Atlético Madrid the pressure will be WAYY higher, u have to win week and week out otherwise people will look at him as a flop if he performed how he performed in Atalanta from the start of the season up until now
Hm: mainoo and (hopefully) Valentino Coveri
Question 230
Ekitiké scored twice against Newcastle and now has 15 goals this season. Is he proving he’s worth the £79M Liverpool paid, or is he still too inconsistent?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Yes
yes
Fuck yea
Yes definitely
Of course
better than what they paid for isak
Yes.
He is
No he's trash. Liverpool should just let him go to a broke club like Barça. Build their team around Isak, the actual best striker in the world.
Dont let stats or money deceive you. But he did score 2 goals against Newcastle but he's not consistent so yes he is worth the 79m
For 79m no
YES HE ALWAYS WAS
Since he stepped in this Club i know he would score goals way better then Isak i hope he will score a lot more in future
He was actually meant to be the backup to Isak, but now he's performing better than Isak. Will look forward to see him play in the World Cup with Mbappe
Don't care
Yes he is worth
Yes.
He is proving it
He's the best we've got.
Yes
yes
Ofc
As an Evertonian, he's has been well worth the £79M for the Reds.
Yes
Idk
he's their best signing of the season and proved his worth
no idea why they had to sign isak after already having this beast tho
Still missing Nunez tho
Absolutely
Ekiteké clears Ferran
no shit
bro hates ferran
ego
Yes yup yuppers totally definitely
Question 231
Manchester City have spent big in each of the last three transfer windows, yet their performances remain inconsistent and they’re currently 6 points behind Arsenal. Has Pep Guardiola’s City dynasty finally come to an end?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Yes.
Finally, yes.
yes
no
Yes
i doubt they will make a comeback
trust me, it ONLY started.
if he leaves man city where would he go next?
went to an end during 19/20 season
this guy LOL
lol wtf???
Yeah
high chance yes
When he's gonna win the league or the ucl again
He has to retire
Or go to serie a
To Napoli or something yk
Plus he doesn't have the strong midfield he used to have
It is sadly over.
He needs to find a new way to handle the midfield zone
It looks like it is. But they still have a chance to win silverware, so I’m holding off on it. Their dominance has defo come to an end tho
Yes
Yh
We have seen City do incredible things before I will not count then out this season yet especially and they could easily comeback next season even if Arsenal manages to get over the line
it came to an end last year
Couldn't give a crap
yes indeed, after a decade
yes
Yes
Yes
no, they will win the league and the carabao
Yes definitely
Watch him lifting the pl at the end of the season lol
Ye

👎
Yes... yes... yes
yes

🖕
They’re losing for now but they might win something at the end
of course
Everything has to come to an ending.
Their Tower of Babel has fallen
Yes
Question 232

Question 233
Are trophies overrated when judging individual players?
<@&1392052021108146207>
It depends if they had an impact on those trophies
Kind of
Sometimes
Yeah sometimes
Depends
Depends on the player and delends on the team
if you look at Bruno ability-wise there's no doubt he is one of, if not the best playmaker in the entire world. But he lacks a trophy cabinet
Depends, it always depends
Depends
At the most detailed level? Yes.
Scott Carson won a load of trophies but never played
Yeah, it's the first thing most people look at which is wrong.
Yes
- Ronaldo is better than Messi because he has more UCLs
- Modric is better than Iniesta because he has a Ballon dOr
- Benzema is better than Suarez and Lewy because he has a Ballon dOr
It's almost always one particular fanbase
Not all the time depends on the player
Taking them simply based on the number/face value is yes, everything has important context to it but it's a human tendency to not consider that (because there is a lot to consider)
Depends
yes
The difference between winning something and not can be due to any combination of these
- fine margins
- team system
- how good their team was relative to everyone else in their league/european competition etc (cases of trophies not being won because someone else happened to be better at the same time)
- some luck
So when comparing players it's really difficult to truly say who is better whenever it's a similar comparison but what is true is that they were "the best" for the sides they played for, and doing a direct swap with them may or may not have had better/worse results
Yes for the most part
feels like this is a question built for harry kane fans
He just needs to shave some hair and it'll be good
Sometimes
Depends
At some points yes
Love pep but yes 😔
From a perspective there is alot of great players who hasn't really won anything like Harry Kane, but it isn't really there fault they haven't. Trophy's are a team reward and players careers shouldn't entirely decide whether a player is great
And if they have won alot of trophies it should depend on if they actually had an impact to them
Me personally I think it depends what team/national team they have played for
At times
It happens sometimes.
depends
heavily depends
Yes, definitely
Or Kane pre - Bayern, for example
Castrovilli to Cesena calcio (as long as there's delusion, there's Hope🔥)
no because you can measure a player's impact with them
I think impact and individual ability matters most
Then comes trophies
No
Dani alves >> cr7
Is that your personal opinion? Or is that what you think the ballon dor values?
kinda
depends on their impact ig
Question 234
Is there any underrated, overlooked, or up‑and‑coming football coach right now whose work has really impressed you this season, or who you feel should get a big job soon?
<@&1392052021108146207>
Cesc
Easily
Oh
hes on Citehs shortlist for pep
not wilfried nancy

Idk who's in my mind rn
Watch out for Thiago. He's working as an assistant to Flick but I expect big things from him.
Eder Sarabia’s work at elche looks nice
I'm going crazy with this manager I know my choice will 100% be questionable or controversial
But I'm going with bordalas
I feel like he's gonna do better with a better squad and players
Dick Schreuder who is going to get ucl football with nec nijmegen
First season in charge and unbeaten since nov btw
